Its the most "unprofessional", poorly put together program!! The Front Door part of it is a joke! The supervisor (Sherri), and most of the CST(Mark) staff is extremely prejudice!! If you are NOT, white she(Sherri) will show just how prejudice she is! She(Sherri) is not present and not helpful within the least. She just passes down orders! Non of her(Sherri) staff cares for her! They deal with it! She replaced and excellent guy! That moved to a better job! She(Sherri) got my case manager fired! Because he told the boss Courtney ..That she was allowing her clients to smoke weed! And the program is suppose to be a sober one! But she knew he was! BUT he was white and she looked out for him! Gave him 3 chance to come back! but others no chances! It mite be a year or 2 before they actually get you shelter! They can care less rather you...are homeless or not!! I was told to find my own apt! and just let them know! and they would pay the fee! The manager Courtney! Good luck trying to find her! Everything that GLITTERS is NOT GOLD. The program sounds good! BUT IS REALLY IS NOT!!!

Immoral and racist leadership. The Front Door Program has a supervisor directing the entire staff not to place any clients at apartments where she lives in, although they accept the voucher being given to the clients to find housing. After she was reported, she harassed and berated the worker. The Federal Employment Laws prevent this along with along with pre/post and administrative work times, and Human Resources refused to do anything about this. They considered management that picked and chose who they were going to serve instead of admitting those in need was a better way to go. So if you are a minority and are in need of services, go elsewhere than Kenneth Young Center. Especially if you are homeless! Sad, but true. There are too many examples to list.

I’ve been waiting for months still to hear back from somebody from CST to know when I’m starting my services with them no one has contacted me about that yet it’s very frustrating having to wait for services when you need them and no one cares about you and wants to help you and get you better with your mental health I am mad about this because someone should call me and let me know when I’m starting services but they do not care at all and will not reach out to me! I would like a supervisor to please contact me and talk to me about this situation because I do need cst services from you guys if you can call me my phone number is in your systems I would really appreciate and gladly speak to a higher level supervisor on the phone about my concerns!

I was looking forward to starting therapy. Took a while to get a therapist but the bad part was, when I finally get a therapist, two weeks in a row, my therapist doesn't show for both appointments. I really wish I could had a better experience.

I have to interact with them on a daily basis as a VR Counselor. I enjoy working with the employment team over there at KYC- they have managed to get all of my customers employed. Big kudos to the staff over there (Frank, Tom, Ravi and Gary). Unfortunately social service agencies always have some folks who disagree with the way they provide services and that is why KYC might have some low reviews, but based on my own clinical opinion, I feel that they provide quality customer service for the most vulenible population I would definitely recommend Kenneth Young.

I love this therapy place so much. My Therapist was the best, very much had a lot of trust in her I always looked forward to therapy. The reception people are so nice I always got candy from them, and one day I did get to pick out some skincare they were giving away for the holidays. I sometimes didn’t go which was the reason I got dropped since of course there were other people waiting to be attended. Kenneth Young Center was definitely a 10/10 service they’re super kind. I am hoping to get back with Kenneth Young Center since my parents do think I need therapy again but I would go back in a heartbeat I’m forever grateful for the staff. And my therapist she’s the sweetest and gave me beautiful advice.
