One of the worst restaurants ever been in my life, I ordered three items from there menu, when I reach there they said $50 something, I said why that much...? Then she realised, the prices shown on menu(online) is from three years ago, I was like???? Then she said take one item out and pay for other two, I said ok but it's still high... I really don't wanted to say anything for that But after seeing this food for $35 dollars that she charged me , I don't know how they sleeping or having good health for cheating people like this, I wouldn't recommend this, definitely food department will be on your way as you food taste like ---. Worst restaurant!!!!!! PFA images which cost $35 anyway...

Absolutely disappointed with the quality of food that was ordered via door dash. Chicken tikka only had 6 to 7 pieces of small pieces of chicken breast and overly cooked and dry with tons of onions. I expect to get quality food when I'm paying good money. Sorry but with this experience I don't think i will order from this place again.

I came for the lunch buffet. Mostly at Indian places I just get the tandoori chicken and the tikka masala. The naan here is nice too and included with the buffet. Fair price considering the cost of food these days.

Loved the freshly made food including drinks and friendly staff . We ordered aloo gobi pranthas, chole bhatura and idlis. Everything tasted good and fresh. Definitely visiting again.

Best Chicken Korma in Elk Grove that I’ve tried. Recently my family moved to the area and I’ve been craving a good chicken korma. This is the 4th or 5th Indian restaurant we’ve tried and definitely the best flavor so far. We tried the chicken and veggie Korma, the garbanzo bean dish, egg plant dish and okra dish. My family all agreed the flavor was great. Their spice scale is higher than the other local restaurants. I’ve ordered medium at other Indian restaurants and it’s ranged from mild to just right. Here medium was a tad hot for me but delicious. We will come back!

Since I've been eating here for a while, the food has never let me down. Friends of mine that I took there frequently go back. I've only used the buffet before. Although occasionally a little slow, the service is generally good and the staff are always courteous. How much service should one expect from a buffet? This restaurant is among the top two that I have eaten at while traveling the world, including Antarctica.

Had their lunch special with chicken and lamb curry. Was so good! Fresh hot naan bread really made it exceptional.

I have had both take-out and dine-in experiences here. Ordering for dinner via phone, they will not pick up the phone until 5 p.m. However, the food will be ready when they say it will be ready. For dine-in, they do a great job managing customers' expectations, and they don't seem to promise anything that they can't deliver. As for the food, I really enjoy the aloo gobi, as well as any of their vegetarian dishes. Unlike other Indian restaurants in the area, this place does not serve raw potatoes! They also serve a variety of naan. Their "special" naan has dried fruit in it that makes a yummy side to savory dishes, or a modified dessert. They have a variety of eggplant dishes that feature wonderfully spiced and seasoned vegetables that vegetarians will appreciate. Overall, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in Elk Grove.

NO ALCOHOL SALES…. Fyi, they are getting their license renewed/revoked so no beer/wine/alcohol… don’t know when that will happen so don’t expect to get a beer or wine or a drink. HOWEVER the food is excellent and the best Indian food in town

I Always buy samosas from the restaurant whenever we have celebration at home. This time we recommended the maharani restaurant for work celebration and the food was great. Everyone was Praising the food and asking about the restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh like always.

We ate here over Thanksgiving weekend and were blown away by how good the food was. It was at least as good as some of the fancier places in bay area. I would give 6 stars if I could. Quite inexpensive too. We had 3 dishes and all were delectable.

All I can say is Yum Yum Yum! I picked up chicken tiki masala. The portion for one person was big. Actually could have shared it with two people. But it was so good I couldn’t help myself. Next time I’ll stay there at the bar.

I enjoy the food here .. really everything tastes so gr8 .. newly renovated interiors..beautiful lights … but above all food takes u back to home.. ..

The food is good (not great) and I like that this business is family owned and operated. That said, I recently choked on a bay leaf that was in the rice of a take out order and required emergency medical treatment. It was a truly terrifying experience. I called to let them know what had happened. I thought they might reconsider serving bay leafs or at least be interested in the experience of a repeat customer. Whoever answered the phone didn’t se to care and the manager (owner) never called me back after I left my contact info. I’m disappointed by the response.

Had a very good experience every time I was at this place. High quality service and very professional. The lunch time buffet is a good deal. For the price you pay you get quality food that tastes good.

Food was excellant In the late evenings a lot of take out so dining was quiet and was able to have a great meeting. Highly recommend
