They do not have the apartment ready by the time you move in. If you move in early she will be mad at you and tell you it’s your fault and have nothing ready for you to move in. When I moved in nothing was ready and the past persons stuff was still in the apartment and they were not willing to work with me to get things figured out. The landlord said it was all my fault for wanting to move in two days early even though I let them know that I’d be moving in early for months. Do NOT work with these people if you can help it because they will NOT work with you… I’m extremely disappointed with how things worked out for me and I ended up moving out early to avoid working with these people. Their coffee shop leaves their coffee out and if you want a cup it is very stale…. The pastries are dry and left out all day and maybe even for multiple days. If you have the chance please do not stop by here and spend your money at Perked Up…

Staff is always friendly. They give decent sized scoops of ice cream! The atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service, friendly barista, and amazing drinks. Highly recommend to anyone remotely close to Elkhorn for a hangout, everything stop coffee shop with great retail. Got a Carmel Frappuccino and it was far far better than Starbucks. 10/10 experience.

So the 5 below giving bad reviews , let me tell you, I was there when you were. This is not at all how this went down. YOU were the ones being extremely rude to the staff. They tried everything they could to please you ALL. YOU apparently didn't know what you wanted and don't know ANYTHING about great customer service and FANTASTIC coffee not to mention their food, it's AWESOME. Maybe you should go to McDonald's or some other low end place to fit your tastes.

We stopped on our way through traveling and absolutely loved everything about it. Great community feeling. Good coffee, good food! We even managed to stop when a band was scheduled on the patio. I have thought about the stop for several days. Win! Win!

Excellent veggie panini and nitro cold brew! Like others mentioned super friendly staff and cute shop too! Will definitely be back before I leave the area.

I came in between errands and got a mocha frappe and it was huge! For $6 you can't beat that. It is a cute cafe with eclectic seating and upper level seating (which I was told about but did not sit up there). Very cozy cafe that you can get food at and little trinkets. Very welcoming atmosphere.

My wife and I totally enjoyed Friends on the Square. We first found them through a web search while on vacation. We enjoyed lunch at their outside seating so much we made it a point to return for breakfast before we left the area. The coffee was sooo very good!

Charming, and such nice people. Coffee and food exceptionally delicious. Love the fact that they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Even did some shopping for very cute and unique items. Will certainly come back, and tell our friends. Thank you for an excellent experience, and service.

Nice place to sit down and enjoy a great cup of coffee with a delicious breakfast panini! The girls' hospitality is always on point and they are always willing to go the extra mile for my weird orders. My favorite part is checking out all of the cool items in the shop- most are from local businesses!

I have never experienced worse customer service than this place. These people clearly do not know how to make a coffee and definitely do not know how to keep a customer happy. I sure hope they don’t treat their friends like they do their customers, because if they do I’d be willing to bet they don’t have any friends. Who ever runs this establishment should probably address this lack of professionalism quickly before they are the ex friends on the square. 🤣 Don’t tell them want you what because they are going to make it the way they want, and argue with you about what you said LMAO. I’ve had better coffee at a Waffle House. 😂

A seriously great place to get yourself some ice cream or coffee in a classy and fun environment. I got a sweater here a while ago and it has been a mainstay in my closet since. I also got a Carmel breve and panini, which was recommended to me by the barista.

Friends on the Square has the best coffee and homemade breakfast and lunch items. Their chicken curry salad is fantastic! I love all the locally-made items in the shop, and the beautiful space upstairs for events!
