I am late writing this review. I was discharged from this facility about two weeks ago. Although my experience was not the best, I have to give proper recognition to the staff because they do work very hard. Ms Elizabeth in Admissions is as sweet as can be. She went above and beyond to help make my stay comfortable, constantly checking in with me to make sure I was ok. If I wasn't ok, she did everything she could to make it better. She works well with all types of personalities and enjoys what she does. JACOB!! (His name is constantly being called). Such an important element. I've never seen a nurse work harder. I always felt at ease knowing he was working. Ms Tammy, Ms Clark, Ms Karen, Ms Theresa, Frank (the floor tech) and a few other people whose names I can't remember but they are just as important. These hard workers made my days at Westgate easier and I appreciate them all. I definitely would not be where I am today without the PT/OT Team. Jam, Edwin, Ms Renee, Christine are very patient, creative and knowledgable. If it weren't for the staff I would give this facility one star. The food is horrible, they have a community shower and even some of the rooms have toilets shared between up to 4 people. If the owners would invest in more staff and supplies, maybe this could be an ok facility. If your loved one has to go there, be sure to check on them and make sure they have everything they need (including linen and hygiene supplies). Thanks again to the staff!

Very Impressive I visited the facility recently when looking for a rehab facilty for a family member and I was absolutely delighted by my tour, the facility, and staff The team was very knowledgeable in regards to the care needed for my loved one, the facility was clean, and offered more amenities for the residents than most facilities in the area. I even got to see the residents during the "daily activity" session enjoying themselves. Confident that my loved one's experience here will be great!

0 ⭐️- A year later and still no changes.. no improvement in my loved one who came there for rehabilitation purposes.. and has not been stood up once to take one step since she’s been there.. the rehab is on and off, they posted a sign stating that the rehab gym is “out of service for patient therapy” which is ridiculous because it’s a REHAB! why is anyone paying to stay here if they can’t even get the proper care and services they are supposed to get? My loved one has been not only verbally but PHYSICALLY abused by 2 different residents, this place does not update or contact the family about ANYTHING regarding your loved one. The room is always a mess, picking up a pile of junk out of visitor chair in the room before I can even think about sitting down.. not to mention the staff steals things I bring for her consistently! The food carts are almost always late and half the time the food is either cold or unrecognizable.. She’s currently still not getting ANY type of therapy, tried reaching out to corporate (Marquis Health Services) on several occasions who have left my voicemails unanswered.. Call bells aren’t being answered promptly, staff is so very inattentive and administration is a joke. So please don’t even consider sending your animals here..

Today I took a friend to visit her daughter, who is a patient at Westgate Center. I hoped to help my friend communicate and understand what is taking place with her daughter because that is difficult for her. I had worried it would be difficult for me, too, and had prayed I would be equal to the task. I met with the Case Manager, Sandy Harvin-Smith, and the Nurse Manager, Bridgette (I didn’t learn her last name - I will call her Bridgette Best!) and instantly my worries vanished. These women were everything and more, utterly devoted to their mission and beyond impressive in terms of their knowledge of and care planning for their patients. Their loving hearts, compassion, skill, and spirituality moved me deeply, which prompts me to write this review. Such rare gems in this world should be praised and lauded, and that is my aim in writing this review. I am a retired R.N. now but if I were still in the workforce, that is the exact place I would want to work. I end this day with what feels like a thousand pounds lifted from my head and heart, and enormous gratitude to all the wonderful staff I met at Westgate Rehabilitation and Health Center. Now tonight my prayers are of humble thanks for this experience. Sincerely, Nan Wells

I would give this place a zero if possible. My mother was transferred from the hospital to this place due to being weak and needing physical therapy to move around. I was told 4 days ago someone from this place would call me so we could go over a plan for my mother. No one has contacted me. I have tried contacting this place multiple times per day to get information and I either get no information or get hung up on. Today I found out my mother fell (SHE IS THERE BECAUSE SHE IS TOO WEAK TO STAND UP BY HERSELF) and when I asked if they had a bed alarm on her because she had to have it at the hospital I was told they do not have an alarm on her bed because that is a type of restraint and I have to contact them tomorrow and ask for an alarm to be put on her bed. At this point if she falls again I will be seeking legal council against this HORRIBLE place. The 4 star google review is an utter lie, do not believe it.

,::The concierge Mrs. Tanyia Robinson goes above and beyond her normal duties, always on the move ,helpful to everyone and anyone, always the same kind person every day, she's been here as late as midnight from what I've seen, and is only paid for the 40hr week an excellent addition who needs more recognition and better pay. , Nurse Jakob, and Mrs. Monica of Housekeeping, along with Mrs Tammy Smith a GNA , these people are always busy, always there to help, and great at what they do, and the entire Physical Therapy Dept., along with the nice ladies who run the little store which is a blessing to have here, and I realize I left out about 10 more names of top notch employees. However it takes double the number of people I mentioned to run a place this size. Every single one above have always been on the ball, need skates to get around since they are constantly on the move to help everyone and anyone that needs help. Very caring people, and great customer service, attention to detail is in their blood. As I said everyone I named and 10 others, sorry I forgot your names, really take their jobs seriously, and treat the patients housed here as though they were family, caring, empathy, and with dignity. Respectfully..Owners, take better care of your good employees, pay them better, show that they are appreciated.

What is a concierge? She is the best of any hotel or rehab center she is aware and cares about everyone and everything. That's what you get with Ms.Elizabeth Robinson I can speak on how she interacts all the time she's all that and 10 bags of chips.I was here 6 months ago and was glad to see her smiling face and charming style when I recently returned. People come and go but I was glad Ms.Elizabeth was still here. With her your needs will be taken care of she stays on top of it.Thanks for hiring her.

I had mixed emotions at the time I spent at Westgate. One minute I was complaining about being here and then the next moment I was praising them for allowing me to stay here and thanked God for them.I never ate their faked scrambled eggs for breakfast, But I loved the cream of wheat cereal. I met many sweet and pleasant people here such as Elizabeth the conceiere( probably mispelled that word). But she is just one of the sweetest people I first met when I came to this facility there also was Jacob, Crystal, Summer, Al all nurses just to name a few. In am sure I left out some names. Some of the best aides were Labria, Tiffany, Dannie. I can’t remember all the names but most saw me as their work mother. The infamous Therapist were all wonderful in helping me to learn how to walk and take care of my basic needs. Of course there were some days I really did not like the way I was treated here but the Administrator and all the top staff took care of of any of my complaints right away. I

Westgate has been a blessing to both my Mom and Dad (who recently passed away). My family have "peace of mind" Knowing Mom is in the best of care, being taken care of as though she was in her own home. The staff and a few of the patients we have come to know in almost a year's time are like family. My family are truly blessed.

I enjoyed my stay here I loved the company we laughed and we talked the team made me feel welcome and they were concerned about me. I would recommend Westgate to anyone that needs rehab. The doctors are out of sight, they really care and are on point with the care they provide. The nurse Scholastica is thorough,Jacob has a winning personality and Therapy is the best team ever they got me moving they worked really hard with me and they were patient .Ms.Elizabeth is exceptional her mannerism is beautiful she had me smiling from day I love her personality. Every one including the aides were respectful and courteous. I am truly going to miss everyone but I will be back to visit. They have a great group of people working at Westgate Hills.

I would just like to say thank you to Nurse Elizabeth Robinson. She has been a true blessing and has gone far and beyond her duties to make my grandmother feel safe, cared for, and treated with the upmost much empathy and respect. I am a veteran and out of town and she has ALWAYS kept me informed on my grandmothers condition, issues, and well being. She has kept me posted on any changes, and checks on my grandmother frequently so that I stay informed on her condition. She has made herself available on many occasions to insure that my grandmother and I can be in communication, and she has truly earned my complete trust and appreciation. Thank you so much again!

I’m a patient advocate and have seen many sub acute rehab facilities. The facility is clean, and the staff is great. One stand out is Elizabeth, the concierge . My client is challenging and she went way beyond to accommodate him. She truly made his stay for therapy comfortable and my life easier. From dietary needs to roomate issues, she was there. The director Kevin, nurses and the PA, Scholastica, we’re wonderful as well. I have never taken the time to write a review. but felt Westgate Hills deserving.

Kierra M. is the absolute best! My family could not have accomplished my mother’s rehabilitation transition without her attention to detail and unparalleled passion for what she does. My entire family cannot thank her enough for going above & beyond, despite all the hurdles she needed to traverse in handling my mother's transfer admission, swiftly, safely, and with such grace. Her professionalism and tenacity means a great deal to families when trying to get their loved ones the rehabilitative care they need to return home. Uber thanks and forever grateful!!!

there is one particular employee who stands out above all at Westgate . Ms Elizabeth Robinson has made Mr Angeles room 226 a great experience. She always has the biggest smile no matter what time of the day it is and always willing to help patients and their families no matter what the issue is. She deserves far more than 5 stars for her dedication and care of others . To know you have an employee that cares that much means more than a million stars. I think she needs recognition for all that she does, big and small . Mr Angeles will deff miss her daily visits stopping in his room to make sure he is ok. Way to go ms Elizabeth Robinson . Keep up the great work and dedication . You are so deserving . Never lose your passion for the love and care of others . We will miss you .., Hats off to a job well done Ms Robinson Mr Villaruel Angeles room 226 Care giver Judy Giron

Richard loves the activities available too. He always compliments the food there especially breakfast. Sandy the social worker provided great guidance with the transition of this move. Tanyia the Concierge knows everything from a to z if u have a question. The office personnel are very professional as well. And the cleaning crew are awesome!!! Congrats for 5 stars!!!

Miss Elizabeth was very helpful. With my stay, she was always on point and very kind. She knew how to make me comfortable and if I had a question and she didn't have the answer she would find out and let me know. She always assured me that everything was going to be okay ,also Elizabeth, the nurse, was there and very helpful she always gave me my medicine on time ,and every time I callled if she wasn't busy, she would come. Marcella's always kept my room real clean. She was a very good worker and I never had hunt her down for anything. She like the two Elizabeth's need a raise. And Mr. Henry Anderson. He was my favorite., he's just that kind of man very kind very nice smile.

My overall opinion of Westgate Hills Rehabilitation Center is a nice place to be. Usually the food is pretty decent, cleaniless is very good most of the time and when I need something done like sweeping off my pedals on my wheelchair the custodians are welling to take care of it! Most of my nurses are very attentive to my needs and concerns without question. There's a concierge here and she's most of the time jovial unless she's focusing on a another matter for one of the residents or staff. Most of custodians are very easy to get along with. Most of the laundry staff are very punctual in bring back my clean laundry with a day or 2. The director of nursing always makes himself available for concerns that I do have at times.

Ms.Elizabeth was the first person I met and she visited me daily. The therapy team was very good and the nurses and aides were really great .I saw the teams actually working together and that says a lot ,the nurses and the aides really do care about the residents they talk to us and make sure we are OK everyone smiles and says hello and you don't get that everywhere but you get that at Westgate. If I had to come back I would. I will miss everyone but I will remember the respect that was shown to me.
