We purposely picked this hotel and were willing to spend more for a nicer room than the local competitors, but we were disappointed when we got in the room and found the garbage can in the main area not emptied from the last guests. The toilet seat was dirty and had pubic hair on it. There was a spot light right outside of our window that kept our room illuminated all night. The front desk attendant wasn't terribly friendly or helpful either. Very disappointed to have spent the extra money for this kind of experience.

We stayed at this hotel in the beginning of June for two nights. As soon as we walked into the room, we noticed a strong, unpleasant smell. We requested a different room, and we were told that there were no other rooms available. We looked at the air conditioner air filter, and it was disgusting. Also, the window seal was very dirty. We spoke with the manager. He came and took a look at it, and stated that it would be thoroughly cleaned the next day as vacuuming did a minimal improvement. Since the air conditioner was right next to the bed all the dust would have blown into your face if you have used it. We were not able to use that bed at all. We asked for a full turn down service after our first day as they were cleaning the air conditioner unit. When we returned, the bed sheets had not been changed. We know because my wife had killed a spider on the bed closer to the air conditioner, and the spot was still there. Also, room 205 has a flood light outside of the window that illuminates the room at night. We asked for a reduced rate for the room and didn’t get it. This was the Worst Western that we have ever stayed at. Will not return There breakfast was good, but that doesn’t make up for the horrible room at the rate that they want. On a bright note, after bad experience at this hotel we had excellent service and room at Best Western in Victoria, BC. The management of "Best" Western Plus (Minus) in Ellensburg should get some training there.

Don’t stay in room 106 it smells like wet dog or rodent he’d to go buy my own air freshener to be able to stay in it because they won’t credit me.

Very happy stay. We got the Jacuzzi suite. The price was great for what we got. Breakfast was good. Location is really close to a freeway exit / entrance. Staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend! Oh and pet friendly!

Very comfortable rooms. Very clean pretty much anything you could need. My dog loves. It would be nice if he could get a place like this for less than $200 a night.

The room was very clean and was huuuge! Biggest room I've ever seen at a hotel. Staff was more than pleasant. Plenty of vending machine snacks. Beds were comfortable! It was also in a great location. Negatives were the lump in the bathtub. Kinda made me feel off balance standing in it. The eggs at breakfast were the worst thing I'd ever had in my life and lastly no USB ports for charging.

This is a nicely appointed older hotel that has done a great job maintaining and remodeling as needed. The rooms are comfortable and large. There is a small indoor pool and fitness center. Breakfast consists of a nice selection of hot eats and a small assortment of fruits and yogurt

Easy off easy on highways. Consistently good breakfasts. Even things for those if us that have gluten allergies. Pool and spa clean. Loved the infused water at front desk! Room oddly laid out but clean and welcoming. Easy to walk dog. Very dog friendly. Close to a multitude of ethnic restaurants.

Big clean room, nice pool and hot tub, well-attended breakfast with waffles and omelets, pleasant staff, and good price.

About time for a room remodel here, as they are a bit tired and feeling "1980's". King Suite bathrooms are on the opposite end of the bedroom, so keep your midnight walking shoes handy. Service was fantastic, breakfast was what you would expect. Had an issue with the door locks (so did a few rooms, actually) but the staff were on it Pronto. I would stay again, but bring my own pillows.

No major issues, as per usual. Great staff. Good price. This is the first time that i have been there when only the back gravel area had room to park. Room door was tricky to open at times. My husband had difficulty sleeping due to the light-as-bright-as-the-sun outside the bedroom window. I had a little trouble sleeping as it seemed the AC unit wasn't getting as cold as it should have. But nothing that will stop me from returning every couple to 3 months.

Hotel was nice and the room was comfy. Discovered a stain on the sheets. Right when I went to bed other wise I would of had them changed. I've stayed in many hotels and never had a problem with the sheets on the bed

I have stayed at this hotel 6 times this year. I have always been satisfied with the rooms and breakfast. Sadly this time the room was not very clean and a dirty towel was left behind by housekeeping. The bathroom was grimy. The breakfast was a true disappointment. Very little fruit and only vanilla yogurt. The eggs that they cook on site were so salty we threw them out along with the stale baked goods. Like I mentioned this is usually not the case except their coffee which is always tasteless. Very disappointing since this is the perfect location to split up our trip.

Very clean and well maintained, smells like some new construction somewhere. Plenty of parking. Breakfast served over a good span, and regularly replenished with fresh hot food. We went early, but seems it was served for 2-3 hours. Staff friendly, helpful. It felt classy. We reserved there after visiting a friend there the month prior. We go to Ellensburg frequently, and will stay there again!
