My wife and I stayed at the Sporthotel Ellmau during our summer holiday in Europe. We had the best time here. The location is breath taking, the food is sensational, the Hotel's spa area is just perfect. Our room was really nice, big and so comfortable, from the rain shower to the blue LED light's it was great. Everybody is so friendly, we just didn't wont to leave. Highly recommend the Golf club just opposite the Hotel. We played there quite a bit, after a view rounds we felt like in our home club in Australia. All up. We give our stay at the Sporthotel Ellmau easily 5 star plus.

Hieno hotelli ja spa. Aamiainen todella hyvä. Ravintolan oli lähes mahdotonta huomioida maidotonta ruokavaliota kolmelle henkilölle. Asiasta informoitiin sähköpostilla etukäteen ja heti hotelliin saavuttaessa. Ongelma tuskin oli keittiössä vaan jatkuvasti vaihtuvassa kielitaidottomassa salihenkilöstössä. Viimeisenä päivänä saimme jo maidottoman jälkiruoan. Hyville hisseille vaatii joko auton tai skibussia.

The hotel and facilities were fantastic. The pool and sauna areas were great and it’s nicely located on the edge of the village. Really top building / location. Unfortunately we found the staff a little uptight and unhelpful on occasions - apart from one very nice helpful individual - Not sure if it was the timing of the year, but we brought the age down by about 30 years it felt like…

We enjoyed staying in the hotel, the rooms are spacious and renovated. the food is delicious and the service in the breakfast / dining room is very kind and good. There is a heated pool. Close to the ski bus. I would love to come back for another vacation.

Great hotel with two fantastic (naked) spa areas. The newer restricted to non travel agent guests or those that pay a supplement. Food is very good, especially 4/5 course evening meal. Ski lift to hartkaiser gondola is opposite hotel. Hotel has nice bar area with open fire but for a change there is a bar 100m away virtually next door with live music and dancing. Great ski area. Hotel and and village best for mature guests looking for relaxing already ski rather than young people looking for nightlife.

Beautiful big hotel, old feel with modern updates and comfortable spa/pool. I've never seen so many places to sit and eat in my life. Breakfast and dinner were part of our weekend package deal and we were never disappointed by options and variety of choices with Buffett style. Walking distance to all local restaurants and bars in Ellmau and 10 min bus shuttle from SkiWelt. Highly recommended.

Cannot fault this place. Staff were friendly, facilities were new, heated floors! Food was fantastic, so much choice, different every day. We will definitely go back.

Lovely lounge area. We sat by the fireplace, it was very cosy. The staff was lovely. Cash payment was insisted. Not sure if they took credit card.
