A really cool restaurant in a great location in downtown Elmhurst. The food and service were great. The service was prompt, and we absolutely had no issues with the meal. They also have outdoor seating for folks.

I loved this place. It's farm to table and everything is sourced within 50 miles. The service was also amazing. The space is also beautiful. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars but google doesn't allow half stars. The deductions are minor...and fixable. The crispy potatoes were burnt on the outside...just a few minutes less would have been perfect. And the wild berry cobbler was amazing but too sweet. I think it would have been perfect with 1/3 less sugar. These small mishaps are, like I said, very minor. Visit this place!!

Everything we tried from here was amazing! It's a bit on the pricey side for the food, but it's worth it. Drinks were all super yummy and strong! Nice soft ambiance and cozy booths.

I’ve been here a few times, on this occasion, I came in for an evening meal. I ordered the pan seared salmon (see photo for ingredients) and was pleased with my food. The couscous was very similar to the size, shape, and texture of lentils (which I liked). The fava beans were okay. I wish they served the dish with full sized asparagus. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the meal and will be back. I have a video but can’t post if of course (google ought to change this).

This restaurant is AMAZING! Our group of five loved everything they ordered and the waitress was exceptional with accommodating food allergies! I absolutely recommend 151 Kitchen and bar. They won’t disappoint.

Very modern design and fancy looking place! First time being here, had few great cocktails. Octopus was tender and spiced perfectly, brussels sprouts were chared to much for my taste, I got bitter taste from it, other people at table liked it though.. Shrimp bowl was fantastic presentation and very healthy meal. Cookie with ice cream was amazing, perfect amount of sugar, butter and it was soft and warm so it went great with ice cream, will come back to this place to try other stuff.

Could not recommend this place more! The food is some of the best I've had (farm to table, cooked to order) and the service was amazing. We ordered the 151 Burger, the Roasted Leek + Cauliflower pasta, and Shirley Temples. The prices were fair for the quantity and quality of the food given. 151 Kitchen and Bar is definitely a must if you are looking for an upscale, high quality meal. My roommate and I will most definitely be back in the near future!

Loved this place! Our server Lenny is the exact example of what the good server should be. We found out later that he is a beverage director there. He gave us great suggestions on the drinks and they were amazing! This is our favorite place now.

Dropped by here to eat with the family for brunch! I had the hanger steak and eggs, with those oh so good potatoes! Those jalapeños grits…. Yummy! The drinks- were soooo stinkin good (positive 😊). Vinny was the server. He was cool. Definitely would return!

A farm to table restaurant Seasonally changing menu First place I've been to where no condiments were on your table, or any table in the room. Extensive cocktail menu, a number of non alcoholic offerings Free parking deck 1 block away. Super fresh great tasting food Wife had tomato soup that I'm mentioning here. Give them a try I'll be back

Had this restaurant on my want to go list. The food was very good. I don't really eat mushrooms, but the roasted chicken with wild mushrooms was delicious. The drinks were solid, and the service was good. No complaints. Would definitely recommend.

Wanted to go out for drinks with my sister and we came here. We sat at the bar and the environment was great! We got drinks that were so pretty and delicious. Got an order of the buns appetizer each and wish I had an infinite amount of them. Would definitely be back! Also had the mac & cheese and bread w/ butter but I preferred the pork belly buns 10000x

The food was really good and fresh. However it felt like our waiter didn't check on us enough. We order cocktails with an app and then wanted to order drinks with dinner but the waiter didn't come by our table again until we were almost done eating.

This place is amazing. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Staff was friendly and made excellent suggestions. Drinks were delicious, and the grits! Omg those grits! I still can taste the deliciousness. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. This is a perfect place for a date night, or girlfriends breakfast. We for sure will be back again.

Food was very overpriced - my husband and I could’ve gotten a meal at Ramsays Kitchen for the same prices that’s better than here. It was $18 to add steak to a $26 pasta that had no protein in it to begin. If you go to fire and wine in Glen Ellyn, it is $12 to add hangar steak. Had we known it was $18, we would’ve just gotten a burger and fries for the same price. We asked for margaritas and the waitress /bartender gave us the most expensive tequila without asking us if we were okay with a $19 margarita that was probably half the small glass if you took the ice out. Our cocktail from the main list was less expensive than that - I was not expecting more than a $12 margarita. She did ask us if we cared what tequila and we said no but had I known they’d give us a high end expensive tequila, I would’ve said give us a cheaper tequila. I’m very disappointed with the communication from the waitress about the excessive prices of some of these items. The lobster bisque was $19 and disappointing as well. We will not be coming back here.

Visiting from Wisconsin, enjoying the walking in Elmhurst and stopped here for lunch. 4 plus 2 little ones. 1 spilled his water and got great help cleaning up. All the food was very good, salad was super good. Not a lot left over. Waitress did great. As a former restaurant owner, Kudos to the team here. Thank you.

We went to this place after visiting the Umbrella street. Drinks were good, tried the old fashion drink. Ask for complementary bread, it comes with pesto spread, which was really good.

Lovely, lovely, lovely meal. We have been there several times and have enjoyed ourselves. Start with the incredible burrata toast for an scrumptious appetizer. The corn risotto on the menu with lobster is outstanding. Excellent meal!

Absolutely love! Location decor is perfect for an adult family dinner or date night. Great food selection and every dish feels like good value for money and large portion. Upscale drink menu and still affordable. And I enjoy the bottomless mimosas for $10, an add on for Sunday brunch. Mimosas are so good. They have 2 types and service is fabulous. They come around and refill quickly. If mimosas are not available, another drink I like is the Frose (picture attached).

We had lunch at 151 and loved the food, drinks and staff. The espresso martini was exquisite. The risotto I loved. The french fries were a nice side. Some in our group loved the salmon and the salads were well assorted. We will definitely go back soon.

We've been twice now and have been very pleased with the food and service both times. Their signature cocktails are interesting and we'll done and they have a small but competent wine selection. The short rib parpadelle was very savory in a silky sauce. The hanger steak and roasted potatoes were perfectly prepared, and the shrimp and grits were as good as anything we've had South of the Mason Dixon line. During both visits our server knew the menu week and was comfortable providing direction. At no point did we feel ignored or overwhelmed with unnecessary attention. Highly recommend. We'll be back.

Wow Services The Maitre d' - was attentive and sat Us (we preferred outside as it was nice) The Steward (Katie) - Great personality, communication and overall enjoyed her time while We were there. Food Appetizer - The best "Grilled Octopus", in comparison to Chicago Prime Steakhouse and Boston Fish Market Main - Hanger Steak and Shrimp/Grits, 5 Stars!!! Desserts - I think too many beers (awesome selections) prevented us from ordering but it did sound amazing.... Ps. they have Brunch Unfortunately We ate the Octopus kinda quickly after realizing to snap it, to share......but We loved this place.

Wonderful experience!!! Our server, Mathew, was fantastic!! He was on top of our dining experience the whole time. He made suggestions for appetizers, Crisp Pork Belly, Grilled Octopus, Crab Cake. We went with the Grilled Octopus...Absolutely delicious!! For dinner I selected the Prime Hanger Steak and my husband selected the Southern Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Both were delectable. The Cosmonaut cocktail perfectly accompanied my meal. The ambience was up beat and energizing for a Saturday night. We will definitely come back to try the Spring/Summer menu.

Awesome farm to table place with some great cocktails. All the pancetta and cheesy grits were a welcomed change to the usual potato sides.
