Nice spot in the heart of downtown Elmhurst. The food is delicious and filling. Priced at about what you would expect. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken was big and plump. I did a beer taster to see how it held up and it was ok. They still have some work to do with how competitive the brewing scene is in Chicago. The one I liked the most was the 187 volts. Great visit all around!

Came in from out of town. I like trying local beer whenever I travel; so my wife and I gave this place a try. Got seated by hostess and watched servers walk back and forth past our table for 15 minutes before even being greeted by one. Tried a flight of beers. They were okay, at best. Ordered the caprese sliders for an appetizer. They were so-so. Ordered the burger for my meal. It was decent, but nothing special. Walked out with a nearly $90 bill, with tax and tip. Overall, I just wasn’t impressed.

We stopped at Elmhurst Brewing Company for lunch on the weekend and loved the experience, atmosphere, staff, beer, and the food! We started off with the cheese curds that were light and Airy and super soft, and then I had the brisket, and my husband had the burger with an egg on it, and everything was delicious. The brisket was a little bit hard and not fall apart like I am used to but easy to cut, and the taste was delicious. My husband loved his burger with the egg on it, and everything was served with super crispy mini potatoes that were an absolute standout! The beer was delicious, and they had a little Craft Market outside and upstairs that was nice to go to while we waited for a table. We will definitely return again soon!

Wings are great! Rest of our food was pretty good. The service is just okay. We had to go to the bar to get drinks because our server didn't stop by much. We won't go back, not worth the drive and limited parking.

First time visiting EBC, and it will be my last. I can only grade on the beers as I didn't have any food. I had a flight, and the beers were just ok One of the beers was entirely undrinkable as it tasted as if it was contaminated. The other three were ok, but just were lacking in flavor, uniqueness and depth. For clarity it was three ipas and a quad. Maybe it was being there mid evening Sunday of Labor Day weekend, and sitting at the nearly empty bar. But, something was just off. Service was good. After a little wait, the bartender was great to us.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elmhurst Brewing Company, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience. The craft beers are an absolute delight, boasting rich flavors and a perfect balance that showcases the brewers' expertise. The food offerings complement the brews seamlessly, with a menu that not only satisfies the palate but elevates the entire dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, the service is top-notch, and the overall atmosphere makes it a standout destination. Elmhurst Brewing Company has truly mastered the art of crafting delicious beers and offering exceptional food—a definite five-star experience!

I've been wanting to go to this brewery for a while and today was the day. The food was good and the beers too. Their service was a bit slow. I had asked for cheese and they never brought it to the table. It's definitely a kid friendly brewery. If I had known, I would have brought the kids too.

We ate outside and it was lovely. I had the mussels and pretzel bread with beer cheese. Sounds strange but it was good. My friend got the chicken sandwich which was good too. Waiter never let us run out of drinks. Will definitely come here again.

I really want to like this place. I went after opening and service was terrible. Sat for 15m at the bar before i got served...chalked it up to being new. The beer wasn't anything special. Haven't been back for a while, but on our recent visit, serving was much improved, burger was good (from a pretty small menu), but beer just still isn't great. Given the beer and the limited menu it's just not going to be on our rotation.

Good beer and good food. They have a big space inside and also a big patio that has umbrellas if you get too hot. Unfortunately this place is not dog friendly inside or outside.

Great outdoor patio, good food menu and variety of options. The prices were a bit high, but the location and the large space make it worth it. The staff was short handed, but the owner was right there in the mix, waiting on tables, serving drinks, and welcoming all of the customers. I will go back for sure, especially to enjoy the patio.

Came here with a companion on Saturday December 18, 2021 for lunch and beer. The place was clean, energetic, and fun. Our server was a very nice, energetic young lady who knew the food and beer menus very well. I brought a flight of four beers and all were very good- a fruited sour, a New England IPA, a barrel aged dark lager, and a barrel aged winter ale, with my favorite the barrel aged dark lager called ‘Santa’s Liquid Helper’. For the food I had the cheese curds- cheddar cheese curds dipped in beer batter and deep fried served with a side of green goddess dressing. These are some of the best cheese curds I’ve had anywhere! Overall experience was excellent and I can’t wait to return. There is street parking and a nearby parking lot available.

I have been here a couple times to enjoy the beer garden. They have really good food love their fried pickles!! They have happy hour from 4-6 p.m. and it’s a $1 off all drinks M-Thur. But if you come in on Mondays they have a special that all drafts are $5 . I heard that on Thursday they also have trivia nights which is a lot of fun for all ages.

I just finished a meal there an hour ago. Very unfortunate. The pros: good food, great beer. I had their sour on tap and their golden stout; both were excellent. The hummus and burger were also excellent. The server was polite. The cons: The service. I originally intended to give more stars, but the performance was so poor I didn't realize all of it until after I left. Rating explanation: 5 stars for food/drinks. 1 star off for the extraordinary slowness of the service. 1 star off forgetting to bring out multiple drinks on multiple occasions. 1 star off for seating us at a table and asking us to leave when it was your fault the service took so long,. Another star lost for saying you corrected a mistake on the check and running the charge with it anyway. Yet another star off for charging the 18% mandatory gratuity for parties of 10, when our party only had 8. How many is that? Well, I can't leave less than 1 star. Here's the story. I went here for a quick drink and early dinner with some work colleagues; there was nothing quick about it. We asked for a table for 10, but 2 people couldn't show up, so it ended up being 8 of us. They set us up on the patio at about 3:14 and told us that we could sit here, but they would be closing off the back at about 5:00. We just wanted to have a drink or two and a meal, so this was fine. long story short. It took about 20 minutes before we were able to order drinks, another 20 before the first round arrived. We tried to order apps and entrees at that point, but the server insisted that we only order apps and she would come back later for our dinner orders. Another 30 minutes pass before apps came out. We ordered our entrees and a second round. 15 more minutes before the second round comes out, but they forgot two drinks. Then at 5:00 dinner comes out, and about 5 minutes after that she says we will need to finish up quickly because they need to clear the table for another group. Finally, we get the check. We found that we were charged for 2 drinks that we ordered, but never received. We brought this to the server's attention, she apologized and went to remove it from the bill. She brought out a revised bill, but then we found out later that she charged the card we used for the original amount, not the revised amount. There is more, but this is already very long. I respect that they may have been busy, but the delays we experienced were well beyond or shorthanded. It's so disappointing because the food and drink were really great, but that level of service was so atrocious, it negates any other positives.

Our server, Madi, was an excellent guide through the beer selection process. She also recommended what was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had.

We ended up there for the live music event. Nice home beer selection. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. We only had beer, so can't say much about the food.

Wide selection of beers. Balanced. Pretty decent food. Wings were jumbo. Salads were not the best.

Delicious food and drink. Great atmosphere. Attentive server. Great selection of beers and ales and you can take some home with you in cans. A fun experience.

Bright and spacious. Very pleasant atmosphere inside and a lovely beer garden outside. We stopped in for a beer and a snack. (The pretzels with beer cheese were buttery and delicious.) A decent selection of beer on tap, with a little something for every palate. Definitely going back!
