This is a quaint little museum where you can learn interesting historical facts about St. Charles and the Fox Valley area. Museum entry is free. The Curious Fox gift shop is a local gem! It has items from local artists along with St. Charles specific merchandise (books, pillows, t-shirts, mugs, etc.). It’s a perfect place to find unique gifts at a reasonable price.

Not the largest museum, but such a great place to find the REAL St. Charles. Love their special events, too!

When I was here in 2018, there were no pictures at all that included the railroads of town or the old piano factory! I was told by an employee/volunteer that for $30 they would look and see if they could find pictures including the railroads and/or the piano factory (no guarantee). Pretty lousy! I said no thanks. The Chicago Great Western museum in Elizabeth, IL.had several pictures including the 2 different railroads in St.Charles. They had amazing pictures from downtown St.Charles and I didn't have to pay $30. I did gladly donate $40 worth of memorabilia to the Elizabeth museum.

Very small museum with lots of local history and rotating exhibits that place them in the context of American history. Would probably be of most interest to people who live in St. Charles or know it well. Also a very cute gift shop with town-themed gifts.

It's a cute little 3 room museum located in downtown Saint Charles. They had some interesting antiques and a couple cool interactive displays. Admission is free, though donations are accepted. Definitely worth checking out!

Very nice displays of St Charles 'growing up'. Featured exhibits change from time to time to keep things fresh... nice gift shop to ✌😊

Nice place to learn about the towns history. Lots of little fun facts! They are rearranging the exhibits soon so I look forward to going back to see what they have added.

Great stop to read about the history of St Charles and pick up some fun unique gifts. Who knew it was the Pickle Capital of the World for a while?!?

Have never visited The History Museum, but hear many good references from various St. Charles Kiwanis members.

👍👍 Very nice wooded area with pockets of open space. The walking path is short, however it extends into a quiet neighborhood. The playground has 3 slides and 6 swings with 3 suitable for older individuals. There is a public restroom and water fountain that has a dog option. Nice covered picnic area as...
