👍👍 My friends and I love this place. The atmosphere is so unique being that it is located inside a former bank. There are different areas to hang out depending on the vibe you're going for. We played pool after we ate. There is also cornhole and darts. I believe they have private rooms that can be rent... People often mention great, building, beers, rooms, beer, cheese, selection, wings,

My friends and I love this place. The atmosphere is so unique being that it is located inside a former bank. There are different areas to hang out depending on the vibe you're going for. We played pool after we ate. There is also cornhole and darts. I believe they have private rooms that can be rented out that have their own taps. I don't drink beer, so I appreciate that they had a few local ciders on tap. The food is delicious. We had the large pretzel and the half size cheese and fruit board (which was large). We had the Mahi Mahi tacos and the salmon burgers which were on special. The food we had last time was very good as well. I came back for a solo lunch. I had the strawberry fields salad with chicken. The staff is so accommodating when I didn't care for my hard cider.

Such a wonderful environment. For dinner, lunch or drinks, this is a nice establishment. Live groups play and sound is decent level except if you sit near them. But, that is self-explanatory. An old building that has been renewed deserves a visit. One of Elmira’s hidden secrets. We had appetizers: cheese quesadillas, sausage & garlic knots and soft HUMONGOUS pretzel with cheese & mustard. An incredible array of beers & wines to choose from. 🍺🍷 I’ll be going back.

This place is awesome! I highly suggest it. The food fantastic. Our server Kelly was friendly and knowledgeable about the building. The atmosphere was amazing. It at the old federal building and they did and excellent job of combining the old and new.

Such a cool atmosphere. Has a small menu but all the food is extremely tasty and fresh. The beer selection was extensive and staff allowed us to try beers before making decisions. As someone that loves sour beers I was excited to see that they had quite the collection.

We stopped by here for lunch on our drive back to NYC. They had an amazing diverse selection of beers on tap that wasn't comprised entirely of just IPA's (boring). A little bit of everything, for everyone, i always say. The food was awesome as well. The menu has quite the selection. We enjoyed everything that we tried. It's way better than your typical pub/bar grub. I really wish i had a place like this within walking distance of my home. I would seriously come here everyday. Comfortable space. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. 5/5

Very very cool place. It's located in what used to be the old federal building in Elmira. Inside, there are multiple different event rooms, bars, dining areas, fun rooms with darts, or billiards, and recently, they added a patio. I've been to a wedding rehearsal here, and I personally had my baby shower here as well, and both were great! They have brunch every Sunday, and they hold event nights like trivia and dart leagues. The food is awesome! They have a great variety for lunch and dinner. IMO, the pickle pizza is the best 👌 They also have a huge variety of alcoholic beverages, including local beers and wines. Upstairs, they also have local businesses that have areas to check out, and downstairs, they have a furniture store! Honestly, it's just a really cool place with a huge variety to offer!

Really great cocktails on a roof patio are hard to beat. The building is super unique for a bar, and there are lots of interesting rooms to hangout in.

Interesting atmosphere. The wings were great they have a huge selection of beer on tap. The only issue was that my friends' food never came out. It happens. They apologized and gave us a discount, but my buddy still didn't get to eat. Other than that, I'd be willing to go back again sometime when I'm in the area.

Amazing facility! It's huge. Located in an old Federal building, the architecture is phenomenal. Inside, it has been reconfigured to create several different 'atmospheres'. Kind of hard to explain, but you can get comfortable in many different areas- the bar, long tables, round tables on the interior as well as tables with window seating. I also believe that there is an outdoor seating area on the second story. I believe that there is a pool table and some dart boards, also. Many options of drinks available, I had the Ellicotville Blueberry Wheat draft, and Blueberry Cider, which both are delicious and I could drink a dozen of. In fact, there are so many options that you will not be dissatisfied if you visit this establishment. As for food, also so many options - too many to list so make sure you check out their menu online to see what they offer. We ordered the Jumbo Pretzel which is served with a cream ale cheese sauce and Bavarian mustard. To be honest, it could easily be an appetizer for up to four people, if you are a light snacker. Then, we ordered a half order of wings, and boneless wings. The regular wings were absolutely delicious. Fried to a perfect crispness, coated perfectly with sauce. Not many places locally seem to be able to make wings correctly these days, but Ill Eagle nailed it! Boneless wings were ok, but not special. The couple that we were with ordered a cheese steak sub, which came with actual sliced pieces of beef rather than steak ums, and a flatbread pizza that was a bit underwhelming, but was decent sized for one person. Overall, will definitely return!!

They tried but fell short. Ill Eagle has highchairs but not a single table in the place at the appropriate height to make them usable. All tables in this large restaurant are hightops. My husband and I were really looking forward to finally checking out this restaurant but had to leave. The staff wasn't helpful in trying to figure out a suitable seating option for our family. They suggested we sit at a conversation set with a coffee table. I guess our bad for trying to take our tot with us to dinner.

If you've never gotten tipsy inside of a bank, this is your chance. Every fall, I drive across several states looking for Oktoberfest beers and their #10Hamburg is one of the best ones I've had. Everything is ordered at the bar (friendly bartender) and then you can take it to the various rooms to enjoy. Some rooms are open and bright, while others are private and moodier. There are even a couple pool tables. Great place for any mood as long as you enjoy beers or staring at marbled walls

Ambiance is nice, there’s local pictures on the wall, good drinks. Food is not up to par, we got the tacos and the pork was drenched in cheap BBQ sauce, the fish was dry, unseasoned, and old. Not kid friendly either.

Great beer selection! Friendly staff! Great Atmosphere! Food is ok. The crab po'boy was great but the salmon burger falls a bit flat and it's a lot of salmon, too much if you ask me. Honey Sriracha glaze that salmon or something. Fresh cut fries were too fresh. Zero brownness, almost no salt. The standard chips side are quite tasty.

They close at 9 on weeknights and the bartender called last call at 8:30???? As a bartender myself, I work weekends. It would be nice to find a spot that stayed open late enough to have a drink when I have my days off (during the week). Ill Eagle can’t be bothered to stay open according to their posted hours even when there are people at the bar. If you’re at my bar at 8:59 and I close at 9, I’ll serve you. It’s called good customer service. Something Ill Eagle doesn’t have.

I'm not sure what the hype is all about. My drink was terrible, my fries were awful and cheese steak was ok, and there is no service so I'm not sure why everyone raves about this place. The building is fantastic but other than that I'll pass.

First visit- won’t be the last. Take a walk around inside and enjoy the set up and way they used the building. A great place for a drink and great food. Staff was quick and kind. Looking g forward to trying more of their beer on tap!
