They have special events during the summer and winter holidays. There are lots of great restaurants, albeit quite expensive. And there is a large play hall for kids where they can also do arts and crafts- perfect for those winter days when you don’t feel like going to a cold playground. For us the cars are just a nice decoration!

This was actually a compliment of the hotel so why not! Ohhhh man! The cars even though i didn't really understand so much information regarding their built and speed. The old cars were very very lovely, might not be as fast and as light as the new ones but still awesome.

Amazing experience! You can spend the whole day there. There are various attractions you can see such as the 2 big towers that are house for over 400 cars, the museum full of car history and amazing cars throughout the years, and many other car brands. There are more than 1 restaurant that you can enjoy a quick bite in during your tour. The place also offers many cozy outdoor seating areas between the trees. And don't forget to end your day with an amazing experience on the large slides!

The cost for the entrance ticket is high.. and the museum is the one thing thats worth on going for. The other places is not museum, its only sales location. The whole place is a bit confusing too. Prices for food is a bit higher than rest of germany. Compared to MB & Porsche museum in Stuttgart this is not worth coming for. Habe mein Neuwagen in der Autostadt abgeholt. Nach 50 km bin ich auf der Autobahn schon liegen geblieben, ein Nockenwellen Problem. Musste auf den Abschleppdienst warten, habe dann zwar eine Leihwagen bekommen. Aber keinerlei Reaktion seitens VW über eine kleine Wiedergutmachung. Es erscheint der Eindruck, sobald man das Gelände verlässt, endet die Zuständigkeit.

Sehr schön angelegt. Super Gelände. Original VW Currywurst schmeckt auch. Komme bestimmt wieder zum schauen.

Es ist immer wieder schön, die wirklich toll illuminierte Winterwelt zu besuchen. Obwohl es sehr voll war, und wir überall anstehen mussten, war das ein schönes Erlebnis. Die meisten Menschen waren fröhlich gestimmt, wir hörten viel Kinderlachen. Gerne besuchen wir die Winterwelt nochmal.

Trip from Sweden to visit the famous Wolfsburg plant. Factory tours were closed (we knew that). The only see worthy was the ZeitHaus Museeum. Factory (Skode, Seat, Audi, VW) pavillions was a disappointment. Just a couple of cars and not even the newest once. Worth a visit, but not worth driving all day to give it a visit.

A great place for not just car lovers, but the whole family. We visited in December and they had Christmas markets (1400-2200), ice rink and snow park. Great vibe to the place and the service was top notch. We booked the tower tour and factory tour, however unfortunately our factory tour was cancelled. Still, the tower tour was excellent and we looked through the museum and each "podium" for the various VAG brands, Porsche being the best imo. Bugatti and Lamborghini podiums were closed, however there was still plenty to see and do.

I arrived with the expectation to see cool technology showcases, future vehicles, and some brand history; instead I ended up walking through what are essentially dressed-up car dealerships with some audiovisual gimmicks. The museum was more of what I expected, but nothing to write home about in terms of historical car collections or even VW collections. The immaculately landscaped garden, beautiful architecture and friendly staff made up for some of the shallow "brand experiences", though for me that wasn't worth the €18 price of admission. One thing that's totally worth your time though is the factory tour: seeing the production lines moving with all the robots and staff working is truly mind blowing. Our tour guide explained the production process in clear English while we were being driven through the huge facility in a VW-powered train. This was the real highlight of our visit.
