To Red Sweater Guy, it's obvious you do not know what Customer Service is nor did you take classes on it. We made reservations for three but were put at a table for two. There were 8 tables with reserved signs that were not in use. You accommodated people who didn't show up for your 7pm kick off and downgraded others who were already there spending money. My family and I came in at 6:15p and left at 7:15p. Within that time only one party showed up at one table which left 7 other tables still unoccupied. Also tips are not guaranteed, they are provided for the quality of work in the establishment which was poorly. Plus on our way out after paying for food tax, liquor tax and service fee you walked right past us without acknowledgment and not saying thank you for coming. But you claim to pride yourself on Customer Service. If you knew me then you would know your whole existence is irrelevant. As for the race comment it seems we weren't the only ones who felt the same from the reviews given. And you being called trash is a great observation from what I've witnessed. Hope you were waiting for this review.

It's a top wing spot for sure. There wasn't much I didn't like. We tried 6 difference sauces on the bone in wings. Of the 6 my top two were nacho mama and boom boom & Michelle. The BB&M was silky and flavorful, not to hot and not to sweet. My personal favorite was the nacho mama. It literally had pieces of Doridos chips on it and was the perfect amount of spice. Somehow the chips stay kind of crispy and it's just surprisingly good. I tried the hot as well and they were standard and another funky flavor was the sour cream and onion chips. The wings are fried nicely all around and I would have to go back twice to try all the sauces I want to. We had the fries as a side and they were standard, but next time I'll try one of the specialty fries for sure. I like that they had a DJ and apparently this happens every night. Seating was slightly limited, so be ready for a small wait, however, this was likely because the outside seating was closed with the rain. Staff was nice and the drinks were strong. Price wise it wasn't bad, but wings were slightly expensive; that being said, they were worth it so I won't complain - absolutely a top wing spot. Overall I give Blue 42 Restaurant and Bar a 4.6 out of 5, a must visit wing spot!

1st time here from Queens NY! Wings were exactly as described... insane and delicious! Can't wait to go back and try other flavors!!

Small place tucked away in Elmwood Park. Surprisingly spacious inside with outdoor seating as well. Wing are crispy and huge and the sauce list will blow you away (try the honey hot or the Blue 42!) Will definitely be back

Amazing stop to wind down after work and to spend time with friends / colleagues. The atmosphere is lively, staff is friendly, food & drinks are decently priced, and decor is apt. Highly recommended as a fun neighborhood bar. Update (2023.01): While most of the staff are friendly & nice, it seems the management could use a crash course on how to treat their patrons in a friendly way. Upon a recent visit, the Manager on duty seemed to have forgotten how to be courteous. -1 Star.

Their wings are great. Skip Buffalo Wild Wings and other chains. Their wings are the truth. They have so many flavors to pick from. Overwhelming at first but ask the staff for suggestions. The wings came out tasting great. Their empanadas were also good. I would go back again and I recommend it. The service was superb. It’s great bar food. It gets loud sometimes because it’s a sports bar and that is to be expected. They have a DJ on some nights. Order for pick up if you want to eat it in the peace and quiet of your home.

I randomly came across Blue 42 one day when I saw they had wings and at least 100 different sauces. I noticed they also have happy hour food specials so my husband and I came in on a Friday at around 5:30. It was already packed at that time and they said it would be a half an hour wait for a table. Luckily, two seats shortly freed up at the bar, so we decided to just sit there. We ordered honey chipotle wings ($10) and the classic burger ($12). The wing sauce was good but some of the wings were a little over-fried. I honestly wasn't expecting much from the burger but it was actually really good. It was cooked to the medium rare we requested, and it came with battered fries (my fave). I wouldn't really say these are "happy hour" prices though. Even so, I'd still come back and try some other wing sauces. It'll just be tough to narrow it down to which one. Tip - street parking only

First time going there. My girlfriend and I were both pleased with the service and food. I had the Blue 42 and my girlfriend had their wings with the garlic barbecue sauce.She liked it very much. Our waitress was very nice and even helped us with the menu and recommendations. I also enjoyed the burger. It was a 1/3 pounder. Cooked to perfection. I recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Blue42 what can I not say Papa Giorgio Angela and the whole team specially Danny great atmosphere great food it’s definitely a cozy little spot. Food is homemade non-frozen which makes it great quality fat service specialty beers specialty drinks in the daytime a nice quiet restaurant bar after 830 let’s get this party started, please transforms into a sheer nightclub was excellent food again outside seating options, winter summer and spring. This is to go to place for all types family parties even make reservations on the weekends because it is busy comfortable seats very great. Air conditioning temperatures very comfortable.

Insane...128 different flavors of Wings. How Sway? Say less or Enough said...Give this place a try...Peanut Butter and Jelly Wings, and Doritos Wings? You can't be serious...Opt for the Igloo and eat and drink inside of it. Good service equals a good time, give this place a try. $$$

This is a bars bars the people the atmosphere the service it’s all a win here the beers the drinks it was all good I need to try more wings had the habanero perfectly hot and the garlic buffalo both amazing choices

This place was surprisingly small but very very cozy. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly. I can't comment on the food since I didn't order any. But from what I saw, the food looked really tasty. If pick up orders were anything to go on, then people must have really enjoyed the food. It was non stop food pick up after pick up. All in all, a great bar if you're looking for a sports bar with game after game on TV. If you're a Packers fan, then you will love this Packers themed bar.

So disappointed after reading so many reviews how great the wings are at this place i would have to completely disagree wings were super tiny and skinny old or refried and cold they were super dry and soggy and extremely hard to chew

Good was good. Keep in mind it's a bar. Very limited seating inside, however they have outdoor dining available. The staff was on point. I had the Buffalo garlic wings, and a sweet something flavor that i can't remember, cheesesteak egg rolls, and fries

Lil small but I had a good team..First time there and I had a blast..Atmosphere was good,music good, I struck a conversation with a couple and they move over so I could sit next to my girl because I was no seats available. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu 😋

Scrumptious wings, and great bang-for-your-buck cocktails! 🍗🍸! I love the vibe and the general “home-yness” of this bar. They have karaoke on Tuesdays and it was such a blast. The MC even had a fantastic singing voice (absolutely no cap). The staff were friendly, attentive, and very laid back— appropriate to the atmosphere while providing quick and top notch service. Elmwoodpark has a gem and you owe it to yourself to check it out just for the wings— they were transcendent. I mean, you can tell they were at least double-fried cause the wings came out so crispy and the “Bees Knees” sauce added a sweet, tangy kick with honey and spices. I could go on and on about the wings. I was about to order two more helpings until the alcohol kicked in and I forgot all about it lmao.

First off the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quick and the 8 wings were big, crispy and well sauced. My gripe about the place is that the music is a little too loud for my taste. First time going there but I'll order the wings for takeout next time.

First off, GO PACK GO! As a Wisconsin native I tip my hat off to Giorgio and his amazing crew here. This is the best packers bar I've been to in a long time. Certainly the best one out east. Feels like a slice of home. If you are a fan of the pack or just wanna come for a great experience during one of the games, get out here pronto
