Massa Cafe is a great place to get an awesome pizza cooked to perfection. Pizza has a great crisp crust with a great taste and perfect chew. They have a great selection of pizza to choose from NY style to roman.

Place has always be great to go to especially growing up in Elmwood Park. I moved away but whenever I'm in the area I have to stop by and eat here. Absolutely amazing. Wish they had a second location by me.

If you like terrible customer service and waiting longer than you were told this is definitely the place to go and then when you finally get there to pick up your order they let you know that they don’t have half of the stuff that you ordered for the worst customer service see the person in the photo

I really like their gelato and their food is really good. I ordered food from here and for some reason they keep sending less n less chicken on the salad the first time I order it was a double chicken salad and they put like 5 pieces. So then I'm like let me order again now I ordered a regular chicken salad and they gave me very little chicken almost nothing. I dont know who is the manager or person in charge but if u keep cheating on people with the wrong portions you may end up loosing customers and that's not good and your prices are high so why dont you guys give what the customer is paying for. I'm very very dissapointed I payed alot for my salad only for lil bit of chicken and lot of crutons that's messed up. I've never had that problem before. This place is only good when you eat in but for ordering it's really bad they dont give you what you paying for and worst of all I tried to get a refund and they didn't give it to me. 😠

Goose feathers is the best place to go if you want a quick easy meal to get back to exploring the city. The food was very good and they had a lot of options for everyone! Highly recommend for lunch!

The best gelato place. We got different flavors, and basically every flavor hit the spot. Super cute spot, definitely would highly recommend it. They have loads of options for food, drinks, and dessert! Ambiance is super chic as well and the staff was super friendly and professional!

Stopped in for some Gelato and was pleasantly surprised. The lovely lady there was so very friendly and helped us out choosing flavors. It was so GOOD! Fried dough with the raspberry cheesecake was amazing 10 outta 10.

Came here for my birthday yesterday after seeing a food review on tik-tok, definitely worth the drive down from Wisconsin. Ordered the primo and a pizza, both were superb. Also that gelato was some of the best I’ve had.

Fabulous! The gelato is divine and the coffee is delicious. They allowed us to split the "small" portion into 2 which was the perfect amount of gelato. The French Kiss latte was just the best thing on earth. We will definitely be going back!

I've been coming here since I was a kid (now in my 30's) and the staff have always been the nicest people to ever serve you. The menu has changed though out the years to make sure everything is in tip top working order and tasting better then ever! I come for the Gelato/ ice cream and there is no other place in the Chicagoland area that I can think of that delivers that amazing taste! Good job Massa to staying a local favorite and becoming a staple of the town.

Update: I dropped a star rating down for the loud irritating techno music I had to endure while eating there. Does not match with the Italian theme of the place, plus that I mentioned it's irritating.... Great panzerotti, I like the polenta fries and the gelato is the best I've probably had. Tried the Red Nonna's Meatball Pizza, thought it was very good. I also tried the sausage and red roasted pepper Pizza it was fantastic.

No pic of the Gelato, but it was darn good! The Margherita pizza and 8 Finger Cavatelli pasta we're pretty good. My husband and I split both dishes and we're satisfied with the portions. Overall, this is a great spot! And will be back to try more Gelato flavors 😋

Post covid went to dine outside. The woman who took out order informed us it would be a 15 min wait. Fine. We waited and 2 of 3 items came outside, we continued waiting for the third item which was a salad . Who would’ve thought a salad would take longer than a baked calzone .... meanwhile several other orders were taken care of a head. Absolutely unimpressed.

I've always had a good experience. It was a little tricky with the outside seating..First date so I didn't even think about calling ahead! I totally will next time ! Great food, great place!

Overall food was decent, but it took forever to get it and it was quite expensive. They actually forgot about us and I watched another table who got there well after us get our food. Gelato is priceyStaff seemed on edge and snappy, presumably because of the Karen-esque clientele. Other patrons were mostly older white people who gave me dirty looks

Massa's food, service, and value are always top notch. The panini are excellent, the pizza delicious, the salads are scrumptious, the pasta is fantastic, I love their coffee creations, and who can resist the artisan gelato?

We come to Massa almost every day, spend a certain amount there for the past year. Today we came to grab a coffee at 9:45pm and got a “nice” reply that they already cleaned a coffee machine, also closed the kitchen and all what they could offer was ice cream. Really? Guys, it is Saturday evening and there were a lot of people sitting outside. You could start to wash a coffee machine after 10pm knowing that there were many customers around. And because of these lazy employees, Massa lost their clients today.

Love the pizza and pasta - great sauce on both. Kids love their kids meals and easy take out.

Terrible service. People who were after us were receiving their entrees before we even got out appetizers. Tables weren’t bussed and dirty. Customer service I horrible. I asked for our appetizzers to be checked on and was given a knod. Water wasn’t refilled for more than 15minutes. This place needs help.

Amazing place! I was here for the first time and I am in love already! The gelato tasted wonderful! I will definitely come back and eat here again. Also we ordered donuts with sugar powder and a rib-eye sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and great! I do not have words to describe it! I will attach pictures! Enjoy! ❤️

It was a nice day to eat outside but there is alot of noise. You go in and make your order and they bring it to your table. The food wasn't that bad but I would have to go to try more. The chicken parm sandwich was pretty good.

We came to get some gelato but we had very good recommendations for the food, so we have to come back to try it! Gelato and affogato are delicious! We’ll be back soon!

My wife and I pick up several pints of gelato from here a month. Highly recommend. Pizza is very solid as well. Not tavern style but still 🔥. Portnoy could have gone higher.

We got 3 16 inch pizza for a work lunch and it was delicious . We got the red pepper and sausage, spicy pepperoni, and the prosciutto arugula pizza. My favorite was definitely the prosciutto, but the spicy pepperoni has for a kick that I couldn’t stop eating! They’re pretty thin slice so even though I ate so many slices, it didn’t feel like I consumed a lot. Definitely would go back!

We sat inside complying to Covid-19 precautions and ordered 2 of the pizze's, one with spicy pepperoni and the with fire roasted red peppers and slabs of fresh mozzarella. They were both excellent! I would recommend this Cafe. And the gelato was to die for also!

Spoke w Colleen on the phone. Told me they wear mask and gloves. Drove 45 minutes to get Massa’s. Waited 25 minutes in line only to see the chef making my food wearing a chin diaper mask and gloveless. Then Colleen double charged me before refunding because why not?

Been going here for a very very long time and I will never go there again!! I found hair in my sandwich and my sister got a food poison from their gelato. Staff was rude and the washroom was dirty. It did change a lot in the past few years and not for better but worse! I don’t know if the owner changed but I won’t set my foot in that establishment ever again!

We read about this place but it was better than described and worth the wait of 15 minutes or more. Staff are great and flavors delicious. We tried to go twice a day during our stay.
