    What a lovely place. Touristy? Yes - but for generations. Now the 3rd generation is handling and it is a very welcoming atmosphere! Food is fresh and delicious. The housewine - in magnum size - is recommendable Hope to be back

    Amazing restaurant What an Incredible restaurant !! Have been eating here for many years and can honestly say have never been disappointed. From the moment you walk in the service, atmosphere are second to none. Food is outstanding we always recommend to family and friends when they are over and everyone is of the same opinion. Beautiful food/wines attentive service, in our opinion the best place to eat in Els Poblets 💕👌☺️ Mandy& Charlie

    Very impressed! Been driving past Hero’s daily for the last 9 months and kept meaning to go and eat as it always seemed busy. Finally did so this evening and very glad I did! The head waiter spoke English, German, Dutch and Spanish and was really pleasant. He recommended the Salmon in puff pastry and it was delicious. The meat selection looked really good and when I saw it being served it looked even better. Highly recommend 👍

    We stopped here by accident, but didn’t regret at all! This place had a nice evening ambiance with fires and calm music. The waiters were really nice and talkative, willing to give advice on the menu. We ordered seasonal starter with artichokes and poached egg and it was so delicious! Second course was entrecote with mushrooms and onions, which arrived a bit raw for my taste so that they grilled it more without hesitation. They gave us also some appetizers on the house with digestive shots at the end. They also have non-alcoholic digestive. The experience was very good :)

    You feel welcomed 😊 Great food & service, €€-€€€ We stayed one night in Denia and went to Hero for dinner. We were only 2 so we were offered one of the two tables left. Therefore: reservation suggested. Food was really good. The sea brass filled with salmon mousse just amazing. The service was top. And they always had time for a nice chat besides. Thanks for the great time 😉

    Sit outside under the covered patio - shaded in summer and warmed by cosy fire warmers in the chillier months. Try the duck in cherry sauce - washed down with a terrific local Valencia red wine, and smile raising a toast to Google maps reviews 😁

    Best food in the area, the steaks and pork dishes are delicious and the staff are attentive and friendly. Great service and total asset to the area

    I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Alicante, the food is beautiful and when i say beautiful it comes from a very high taste in food person, the management the chef beautiful people as well! Love you guys I will be back soon.
