The
Bregquelle
is
a
great
sight
to
see
if
you
are
in
the
area.
I
wasn't
too
impressed
with
pictures
I
had
seen
of
it
on
Google
maps
(I
thought
it
looked
like
quite
a
dingy
statue
and
sketchy
area),
but
came
to
the
area
mostly
to
see
Gunterfelsen
and
stopped
here
afterwards.
It
is
actually
quite
charming,
pretty,
and
interesting.
It
is
a
small
spring
and
pool
of
water
that
is
said
to
be
the
source
of
the
Danube
river,
with
a
statue
of
a
large
naked
man
(some
mythological
water
god)
resting
on
top
of
the
spring.
There
are
signs
in
multiple
languages,
including
English,
explaining
the
historical
significance
of
the
sight.
It
was
quite
crowded
on
the
Sunday
afternoon
I
was
there,
and
it
is
a
couple
minutes
walk
DOWN
a
hill
behind
the
Hohengasthaus
past
the
Spielplatz,
but
well
worth
the
short
walk
even
with
small
children
if
you're
there
anyway
-
a
stroller
would
be
ok
if
you
don't
mind
pushing
it
back
up
the
hill.
My
kids
played
in
the
stream
for
several
minutes
before
we
had
to
leave.
It's
a
great
place
to
bring
a
snack
to
enjoy
on
one
of
the
benches,
though
I
don't
remember
there
being
a
picnic
table.
The
area
is
mostly
shaded,
from
what
I
recall.
