Upon arrival, we encountered some issues with our stay. The staff at check-in were quite loud. Additionally, we were assigned to the Bramble room instead of the Rose Cottage, and there was no explanation provided for this change. The Bramble room had a few maintenance issues, including broken tiles, mismatched paint, and a rusting fireplace. Ventilation in the room was inadequate, and the bath/shower setup was not suitable for taller individuals, as it had a DIY shower with cable ties that made showering uncomfortable. Some windows had broken blinds, and the towels provided were not white. Furthermore, the bathroom heater posed a potential hazard as it seemed to be causing damage to the ceiling. We paid a total of R1000 for a one-night stay for two people, which included breakfast. Unfortunately, our breakfast experience was also disappointing. The omelette served was cold and appeared to be pre-made, while the toast suffered the same fate. Moreover, the omelette seemed undercooked. To add to our dissatisfaction, the breakfast setup was disorganized, with the coffee maker and music in the dining area not being prepared on time. Overall, our stay was far from satisfactory. The location of the accommodation, situated outside of town near a settlement village, did not make us feel safe either.

Everything was so up to standard. Beautiful place. Very friendly staff. There is really nothing negative to say about this. Please keep up the good work. Would definitely visit you again🌻♥

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the bramble cottage for 2 persons. Cosy and very clean. Crisp white sheets, comfy pillows and electric blankets kept you snuggly warm. A nice open fire for cold evenings firewood and firelighters were supplied. I have to mention the magnificent manacured gardens are a real treat. A small inspection of the rooms may be fruitfull a blind was missing in the bathroom and some attention to tiles around fireplace is needed. Yes we would stay again

The place is beautiful! A very vintage, old English feel to it. The garden is gorgeous and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace in the room and heater in the bathroom was a really nice touch - very cozy. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the massages - the ladies were great. The breakfast was not too great or substantial however the town is just a few minutes away with quite a few restaurants that offer affordable breakfasts, so it's really not a train smash. Overall, we had a really lovely weekend
