The
Royal
Tourist
Inn
is
located
a
little
bit
off
the
city
center
(still
walking
distance,
about
20
minutes),
but
in
return
you'll
get
a
more
quiet
sleep
than
in
the
really
noisy
city.
Our
room
(the
cheapest
one)
was
clean
and
spacious,
yet
it
was
barely
furnished
and
the
floor
was
only
cemented.
Hot
water
was
available
as
well
as
showering
gel
and
shampoo.
We
didn't
need
the
mosquito
net
because
there
weren't
any
of
these
little
beasts
around.
Unfortunately,
our
room
didn't
have
A/C,
so
it
got
a
little
warmer
during
nighttime.
Still,
good
value
for
20€.
And
the
really
lovely
and
talkative
staff
of
the
resort
compensated
for
the
quite
basic
accommodation.
We
had
one
of
the
most
amazing
and
rich
Sri
Lankan
breakfasts
here
and
everyone
cared
so
much
for
us.
Upon
arrival,
we
enjoyed
free
coffee
and
tea,
cookies
etc.
The
owners
also
provided
us
with
tips
for
our
trip
to
Adam's
Peak
(bus
to
Hatton
and
then
onwards
to
Dalhousie).
Overall,
a
nice
experience
and
better
than
the
first
homestay
in
Kandy
at
which
we
had
stayed
before.
