We loved the food here and, specially their menu (with entree, main course and dessert) was very nicely designed. The portions were definitely satisfying but most importantly the taste is quite close to the authentic one. Being an Indian myself, I can confirm that the taste and flavors were quite on-point. I will surely go back during my stay in Geneva!

Lovely restoran with a good setting, close to the bus/train station and to the Leman (Lake of Geneva) Veri nice, kind and hospitable hosts. Very good and tasty food and great service. Just a little minus, no decaffeinated coffee. I strongly suggest and recommend Masala House

I rarely give 5 stars to any restaurant but the food was perfect so it gave me no choice. Geneva being a truly international city chances are you'll find good food from all over the world and Indian food is no less. We ordered Kadhai Paneer and Dal tadka and Naan. The food reminded us of authentic food in India. The paneer was super soft, and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Each dish was spiced very well. None of the restaurants in the US come even close to it (I've tried Indian food in California, New York, Texas, Washington DC, Seattle and Georgia) Highly recommended if you are looking for comfort/authentic/homely Indian food in Geneva!

Absolutely amazing service, ambiente and food. Big thanks to the waiter of tonight who managed the whole place alone and did an absolutely perfect job. Even with an difficult client sitting there being difficult for no reason the waiter handled the situation admirable. Gold star for this level of service. Food was amazing and delicious. Had a mixed experience from this restaurant. It had one of the best Chicken Karahi and at the same time one of the worst Butter Chicken I have ever had. You can see from the picture that even the colour of the butter chicken was different from the usual ones. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good Indian food in Geneva except for the Butter Chicken.

My wife and I tried Masala House based on the great reviews, and came away a bit disappointed We ordered the Mixed Grill and the Butter Chicken Pros: -attentive and friendly staff -food arrived quickly -rice was well cooked Cons: -butter chicken sauce was overly sweet -meats in the mixed grill were just okay - not cooked/seasoned in a way to make them really “pop”

Perfect Indian restaurant. We ordered Shrimp Biriani, lentil soup, Chicken Tikka, Naan, Lamb Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala. Everything was very delicious it’s actually the best Indian food i ever had. I must say, the staff are incredibly nice and friendly.

Hello Everyone, I would rate the food and service of this restaurant a good 5 stars as I had wonderful dining experience. I just bumped into this restaurant while looking for some desi food nearby where I was staying. Though it was not my first visit but I had tried few restaurants around the area. I had ordered for paneer dishes as I was so badly craving for it. Paneer Tandoori, Palak Paneer, Jeera Rice, Roti and I requested chef to make desi style chai which just made me miss Mumbai so much. I would love to visit u guys again whenever I am im geneva again. I would like to thank Guri bhai, the server who served me, Chef Kuljeet who made my food and the gentleman who put together the music collections playing in the background. What else would you ask for ? Bollywood music, Desi khana like the way its had in India - No overpowering, No taam jhaam, just balanced flavours amalgamated in depth. To the team of Masala House- I have tried desi khana in many restaurants from Far East, EU, Middle East & USA. What u guys have put up is magical. Keep it up. Bring more smiles, enrich the taste buds of more people with desi food and I wish you guys more success.

The food and experience at Masala house was amazing. Each of the dishes we got were delicious and unique. The curries were full of flavor and very fresh. The owners of the restaurant were also extremely friendly and made a point to chat with us and get to know us. They also have a full bar and offered us a complimentary customary digestif.

Delicious Indian food located close to the train station. Came here on my last night in Geneva based on reviews from others... and they weren't wrong. The service was solid. The wait staff truly cares about your dining experience. I ordered 2 different vegetarian dishes - mattar paneer and the vegetable korma plus garlic naan and rice. Both dishes were flavored perfectly and it was good to be able to eat a variety of veggies rather than just potatoes and carrots typical of swiss cuisine.

Food is hot, fresh, flavorful and atmosphere and service comforting/homely. Love the experience overall. Portion sizes are great

Butter chicken was exquisite with melt-in-your-mouth perfectly prepared chicken. Bharta (vegetarian) was the perfect amount of smoky and fresh. It was all perfectly delightful. 10/10

Great place; excellent food, copious portions, and not too expensive for Geneva either. The butter chicken (my favorite) had a thickness to it, with some cinnamon kick, that really hit the spot. Service was on point too, we felt welcomed and were looked after well. Highly recommended, I will definitely return.

Great Indian food, we had a mix of everything, both lamb and vegetarian dishes, topped with local Indian beer. Service is quick and the waiter was very helpful with suggestions and patient with our indecisiveness 🙂 a good choice for a good casual meal at busy Pâquis

The staff was super super nice and friendly really. But the food was a bit disappointing, lacking in spices, flavour and spiciness (although we specified we liked it spicy from the beginning). It was most probably adapter to European taste. The chai tea was super weird, it did not taste like usual masala chai with a lot of flavours and spices, but rather as black tea with no sugar and a lot of heavy cream. Prices were fine. Sorry guys, you were really lovely people🙏

Nice rich food (butter chicken was as expected, very creamy). The chicken karai was very nice, recommend. Tasty garlic naan, a lot of fresh garlic. Unfortunately no whisky as it had ran out but the staff understandably explained why so no issue. Recommend if in area. Could of been more spicier but catered for local pallet/tourist.

Close to the train station and central location. Service was good; waiter was helpful in helping us choose our meals. Food was excellent - not spicy enough though, even after requesting for their spiciest condiment.

Really great Indian food here! Super flavorful dishes, great naan/rice and really friendly service. Probably the best Indian food I’ve had in Europe, no joke. Don’t hesitate to eat here, and as an FYI, if you like really spicy food, you may want to ask them to punch it up a notch from their default (can’t blame them for not wanting to kill unsuspecting tourists 😀).

Wow. Excellent, tasty, quality Indian food with no hype or false promises. Just a great dinner, served with a smile (behind the mask) and a great evening out. We were a group of 5, with very different tastes and orders and drinks, and everything was delivered timely, together, and delicious. All very happy, and all plan to return soon with other friends, family and colleagues.

We stayed in Geneva for a week and visited Masala House for our meals quite often. I must compliment the team at Masala House -Geneva for authentic Indian cuisine. We loved the flavor of each dish that we tried. Must visit on your trip to Geneva for delicious and authentic Indian curry and taste. Also highly recommended for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The portions are quite good and the taste is as close to authentic Punjabi, ofcourse with the Swiss spice level ;) They have a limited menu, but what they have is very good.

Slow but friendly service. Feels a little "home cooked" but still good. Not as high quality as found in UK but this is Geneva. Would go back.
