Really nice town. Visited quarries and muguka farms. Went out in the evening to Party at Java Blue and the club was lit. Definitely the party place in Embu.

Beautiful town..clean air and everything that Nairobi has to offer. The Psalmist sings, "Thou dost cause grass to grow for the cattle and plants for man to cultivate that he may bring forth food from the earth and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread to strengthen man's heart (Psalm 104:14-15)

Hometown!!! ❀ Lived my whole life here but even for people who left the place many years ago coming back would hardly get lost coz the town grows/has grown very slowly That said, much could have been done on a proper town planning of the place. The main roads are narrow single carriage way. The developent over the years has also been very slow. All the same its a cool agricultural based town with many tourist destinations around mount kenya

Ate some delicious samosas at a Restaurant just after Maguna Supermarket (Dallas Branch) can't remember the name but here, a cup of tea comes with two πŸͺ biscuits (complimentary), very interesting place and great service. Getting a seat here is difficult.

Food, is good, in places like Gerish hotel, Gerish Kuku, and as obvious Nokras, opposite Embu library. In terms of service it sits at an average rating cause it's sometimes hectic getting services and finally on atmosphere, congestion is hectic, on market days it's just wuuuuueeeeehhhhhh

Embu is nice cool place to be. I went to one of the towns Hotel and i didn't like their services. Waitresses are not attentive you may call them and they assume or ignore. The hotel was also cool just a matter of making up the cooks and the cook plus waitresses to be attentive to the customers.

The experience was great only to mention that the hotel has one waiter. Not sure if others were off the said day

The town's sleeps very early. It's also stagnant in development I wonder why and khat business is booming. Sometimes I wonder and it used to be the headquarters of eastern province

Generally a good town with all requirements and infrastructure (amenities, hotels/resorts, transportation and infrastructure, condusive environment among many more). However, not too expansive in terms of are/sq.m

My home town, Also known as Kirimari (On top of a mountain). Cool town all the time, peace and business active. Full of agriculture products. Door to Eastern Province and headquarters of Eastern Province. Can't speak enough of it.

Embu Embu Embu. What a town! Very calm very relaxed and in all my years I dunno which side is uptown and which side is downtown. I spent my night at a $5 lodging and you know what? It was surprisingly good. The food was your typical Kenyan fast food. The town does slow down considerably at night. The nightlife is sort of underground. You'll find some hidden gems to dip your naughty toes. By far the diamond of the town are the exotic women who seem to sprout in Embu. You have to see it to get it. Watch out just like any town in Kenya, there is an aspect of insecurity. But it's less considerably pronounced. Have fun!
