Being in Embu with a group of friends this was an ideal place to stay as it is very close to the town. They offer quality food and amazing boarding facilities. They also have amazing outdoor scenery that we used to have a bonfires .Overall this is a go to place for camping in Embu.

Great place to get accommodation. Out of town with lots of open spaces. There's a compound that you can relax and work outdoors. The rates are quite pocket friendly. The rooms are spacious with a desk where you can do your work.

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed at the Embu Scout Centre for a week in December 2022. We highly recommend the centre, because it offers a great way of getting away from the beaten tourist track and closer to everyday life in the region. The Scout Center in Embu offers very reasonably priced accomodation and food for travellers. The rooms are unpretentious and clean, and have a view of the lush camp grounds. The food is excellent, prepared from scratch every day, and the restaurant is frequented by large numbers of locals. The food is of local style, and offer travellers a great experience of local produce and traditions. The staff is superb and takes immense care for the guests. They can provide you with unique tips to excursions etc. As the centre is owned by the Kenya Scouts Association the proceeds go towards the social work carried out by the scouts, and by supporting the centre you are also supporting an important hub for social work and development.

Calm quiet place with good healthy foods that borrow heavily from the local delicacies

Located just a few meters from Embu law courts and close to Cathedral church. I discovered that the place hosts a restaurant. A very affordable one at that. The WiFi is awesome and the customer service is average.washrooms are also average but sweet food
