We meant to stay for 2 night but only stayed for one. Awful heat and the fans don’t help, no good air conditioning and u won’t get much sleep without sweating your life. The second day we saw a huge spider in our room, we told the staff about it and they laughed at us and said it’s normal, the attitude is wrong and so are the vibes, I do not recommend this place and I hope for you u will choose a better spot to spend your time at because this place was very disappointing room wise and staff wise only location is fine but not enough for me.

Excellent staff who were very helpful and friendly. Rooms decent but with a few issues: loud, creaky floors; bad sound-proofing between rooms; rooms collect a lot of heat.

Really friendly hotel and great location. Stayed here when the Swiss transport museum for our son's birthday - was great.

The food and ambiance were great! Also, our waitress Carmen was excellent, smiling and fun and very fast. Ask for her if you plan to eat here :) a big Bravo to her

The location of Hotel Rebstock was very good. A fifteen minute walk you can be almost anywhere. The staff was very nice and professional. Thankfully, there was a small lift to take us up to the 5th floor. Our room was small but comfortable. The windows were fabulous at keeping all the city noise out including the frequent church bells. But the 3 stars is because it was too warm in our room, even with the fan provided, you could not open the windows to sleep because of the city noise. I know that the temperatures this summer have been unusually warm

We spent only one night here and it was close to 30 degrees celsius in Lucern. The hotel is a beautiful example of old world Swiss charm from the outside mixed with a little industrial, Eastern block feel inside and in the room, which was kinda cool. Location was central and perfect. The restaurant was largely frequented by locals and the food was excellent, classic Swiss fare. Hotel service was great also, all staff cheerful, helpful and comfortable with English. The only drawbacks - No air conditioning (a rather loud fan was provided) and as we have discovered in a few hotels in Europe, the fridge in the room is not cold!

Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast! We had 2 cozy rooms on the 5th floor, everything was clean and comfy. The walls are a bit thin, but apart from that it was great! Would definitely recommend it ☺️

Really recommend the hotel! The hotel is around 10mins walking distance from train station, location is good and just in front of the church you can enjoy the view. The room is spacious and clean. And we love the breakfast, the food and the vibes is comfy!

Went here on a tour. They served a mushroom and veal pastry that was fantastic.

The restaurant was a fancy version of Swiss food. Everything was delicious and unique.

We had early dinner here. The food was delicious but the service was soooooo slow. It took us a while to get our food, and then the same happened when we asked for the check. And it was not even a rush hour.

Staff not freindly, rooms not ready by 3pm check-in, and dinner resrvations not clear on which restraunt. When arrive back after 3pm we were offered a drink while we waited for our room but 30 mins later it still wasnt ready. We reserved dinner and when arrived only 1 person asked us about our reservation then just pointed to a direction without a word. Water served without ice. We do not recommend.

Wonderful room, wonderful staff always very nice and helpful! Very next to the lake and in the city center, very calm although. The only complain, and I understand it is not possible: unfortunately it is not at all a place for people with physical problems, the only lift is after a long stairs, and then when it arrives you need to go upstairs or downstairs again to get to your room. But everything was very nice!

Excellent service, clean rooms, a cozy restaurant, and a superb breakfast is all I could wish for in a night stay in Lucerne. The hotel is close to the train station and other attraction areas. The view from our double bedroom was Awesome

Great hotel, personnel is super friendly, location is superb but DO NOT stay in the historic part! The floors and stairs are so noisy you cannot sleep when someone above you is walking in their rooms.

Great location! Fantastic breakfast! Lovely service. However, they don't have AC so consider the timing of your trip.

We love the ambiance of the Rebstock and have returned several times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of Swiss charm here; good food at the restaurant, and at the included breakfast. Close to everything in Luzern; highly recommend

Reservations for the restaurant were made easily online. We ordered the veal sausage, the pork sausage and the meat loaf. All were very well done. The meat leaf didn't need so much gravy and the mashed potatoes were a little thin. Overall, the service was decent the food was good and it was a lovely atmosphere on the terrace.

I stayed in a double room on the top floor with a wonderful terrace with views over the lake and mountains. The terrace was large with several lounge chairs and a small table - a wonderful place to watch the sunrise and sunsets and enjoy small meals outside. Unfortunately, the bed was not very comfortable, but good enough for a 1 night stay. The breakfast was nice with a variety of cold cuts, fresh bread, selection of cheese, jams and eggs cooked according to your preference. The personnel of the hotel was friendly and helpful. The hotel is dog friendly (for an additional charge per night) and valet parking is available (extra charge). There is an elevator in the hotel, however, you still have to climb a flight of stairs in a narrow staircase (especially if you live on the top floor), which could be problematic, especially if you have a lot of luggage.

Excellent hotel very close to the Lucerne train station and right next to the twin tower church. It's 100 mts from the banks of the Lake Lucerne and only 500 mts from the Dying Lion monument and the Glacier garden. It's also walking distance from the old town and the wooden chapel bridge. Great location overall. I must add that the overall service was superb, the included breakfast was adequate and they also have a reasonably priced valet parking. The rooms in the older part of the hotel are mostly wooden and gives you a very 'chalet' kind of feel that is quite warm and romantic.

We had lunch at the location in Lucerne. It was very good. We had Chugelipastetli, a puff pastry stuffed with veal in cream sauce. We were on a Viking river cruise, on our way to the boat on Basel.

This hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the main train station. We could have taken the bus since there is a bus stop near the hotel. We were lucky with beautiful weather and it was a nice walk crossing the bridge. Lucerne is beautiful and this hotel is close to the major attractions/transportation. We selected this hotel based on very good reviews and it was reasonably priced. I made a request for city view and we were given the room on the top floor with a patio. We had a beautiful view of Lake Lucerne, the city, and Mount Pilatus. The room had a coffee/tea maker and minibar. The only thing we didn’t like was the bathtub shower since the ceiling was too low. My husband was 6 ft tall and he had to kneel to take a shower. The hotel had interesting decorations and our bathroom tiles were cute. The breakfast buffet is decent and we could order fresh cooked eggs. The only room for improvement on breakfast is to have a self serve coffee machine available to customers. The server is very busy in the regular restaurant and the breakfast area for hotel customers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

right downtown on the waterfront of Lucerne and a small walk to the historical center. they have valet parking if you want to park at the hotel . as parking is nearby they do it for you. makes logistics a bit more cumbersome but they were very helpful and friendly. the staff at ever given occasion was very welcoming and informative. the room was very clean and comfortable. we had a corner room with great views. the hotel overall had a mix of modern with classical German Fachwerk. this place is very pet friendly and even placed a large dog bed and a set of bowls in the room for us. that extra touch gives them bonus points in my book. if you are visiting this beautiful charming city of Lucerne (which you should), this place is a fantastic choice. they also have a great restaurant located on the ground floor along side a lounge.

Make reservations for dinner on the weekends. Good, solid Swiss food. Good selection of drinks. Good service. Did not get to sit outside, but outside seating really nice.
