We ordered Belgian waffles. By the time we were served, the waffles were totally cold. Our server never checked back to see if everything was okay so we flagged down another server and sent them back. The 2nd server got us fresh, hot waffles. I hope our server shared the tip we left.

My family of 5 and a baby came in on our way out of town and what we experienced was horrible service and lame food.The server asked if we were ready to order. We said yes. She said "okay I'm not ready yet, I was just checking if you were ready." Then she went to go get a tablet to take our order. I asked her for a french fries substitute she went to ask the chef, no problem. She came back with a paper notebook. Stating she could. This is significant because I ordered the sirloin tips and eggs that come with pancakes and she refused to give me the pancakes because she said i substituted french fries for pancakes and that wasnt true. She only brought the pancakes because my mom said we would pay for them. We kept having to ask for water,staws,and correct food order. The girl that served us felt like she was brand new which is fine completely. My mom was a server back in her day and she understands the pressure of being a good server. So that is the reason we just kept it moving, we didn't speak to the manager, and I wouldn't have written a review either. UNTIL my sister,mom, and I went to go change one of the babies in the bathroom leaving my brother in law with the other baby. We come back and start heading outside after paying. My brother in law lets me know that while in the bathroom the server and manager started talking sh*t about how we didn't tip what they thought we should have. That really upset me. I told my mom not to leave a tip at all but she still did. Just really upsetting behavior and I think yall should know about it.

Took my wife out for breakfast for our anniversary. First there were empty tables but they wanted us to sit in a different location. Table had not been cleared yet. There was food on the floor. The host half wiped the table. Had it soaking wet. Couldn’t eat in a dirty area so I asked for a broom to clean up the food. Ordered steak and eggs and it came out terrible. No flavor whatsoever. Sent it back for a Colorado omelet. It was covered in cheese to obviously help with the taste but still no flavor. Still tipped well because I can tell those girls were trying. But the lack of training is killing that place. Just poor customer service and help needed in that kitchen. Sorry Ihop Emporia. I’d love to support but this was not a good look. So disappointed.

Young man failed to bring one of our drinks (water), lost our order, retook it, then brought food that wasn't what we ordered after an hour, offered no discount and struggled to split our checks. Blamed the computer for the lost order and the printer for not being able to split checks. We won't be back as long as he works there.

Wait staff was lacking. Chicken & Waffles were terrible. Chicken strips had a weird vinegar taste. Waffles were cold and undercooked. Had to ask for butter after waiting to find my server after he dumped my food at my table and disappeared. Butter was cold as was the Waffles so that was not a good combo. Overall nothing here but bad food and depressed staff.

While everything was good the service was very slow. It looked like only 2 people were working the front. Spent longer here than we had planned time for as we were traveling to Oklahoma from Missouri.

Great service! Good coffee and food always. Price is great for the quality and amount of food. Will definitely be coming back.

The waitress was not very attentive to our needs. They were short handed. For the most part the food was good
