    Does not answer the drive thru window, parked went inside to employee scrolling on cellphone sitting in booth watched us walk in rolled her eyes when she got up then proceeded to say I ain’t makin no lattes and no hot coffee, only iced coffee…none of that stuff (points to pumpkin spice sign on wall). I get it you don’t like your job don’t go to work and don’t get a paycheck then.

    I walked in this store today. The cashier told me I had to hold just so she can make a personal phone call. She walks to the back and comes back up front to see me still waiting to order…… she then rolls her eyes and told the person she guess she has to call them back. With her nasty attitude I still really wanted my coffee. I started my order which is the same thing I’ve been ordering forever so I know it’s possible. Medium iced coffee 2 vanilla bean 2 stevia and almond milk. Before I even finished I was told that vanilla bean flavor does not go into the iced coffees… completely untrue. I just told her never mind and left because she was so rude And disrespectful toward me. 30min drive to Roanoke Rapids and I ordered the exact same thing I tried to order in emporia…. I guess it was some kind of magic that I was able to have vanilla bean flavor in my iced coffee in Roanoke rapids. I personally wouldn’t go back to emporia Dunkin’ Donuts and I feel that cashier should be fired!!

    There was only one employee. My order was not completely correct. Instead of adding the one ingredient missing, he took the time to make a whole new product! Shame on Dunkin for leaving him there alone. But koodos to the employee for doing his best in a stressful situation!

    Ordered a refresher, which was pretty good. It was a passion fruit with green tea. You can also have it with coconut milk or lemonade. My daughter ordered a sausage egg and cheese, but she stated it had a funny taste. Employee was very mannerable.

    Hot chocolate was just water did not taste well and the I got a grill cheese sandwich and my cheese was black because they didn't over it up I had to tell them how to make it the right way I know because I work for the one in NC the cashier was scratching in his hair and then went to get a donut out the case

    Came into Dunkin with my mother im a Dunkin worker myself so I know it’s exhausting working with food service but I also know I should at least give good service even on bad days. The ladies look like they don’t want to be there cashier had a mad face so did the cooker. I waited like 25 minutes for a Turkey sausage and chive onion and they waited over 15 min for them to tell me they don’t have it and didn’t even mention it they kept giving other orders and mine was put to the side after I said something I waited even more, I had no other option and I didn’t want to get a return because it’s to much work like I said I’m a Dunkin worker. I understand but this was a terrible experience and I got my order and I opened my sandwich mind you I ordered a Turkey sausage and inside came A bacon sándwich,are you serious after the time waiting. The cold brew as well it was to water I know how cold brew is made. And this cold brew was to watery no taste of the caffeine. I’m a Dunkin worker I understand I’ve been working over a year and I understand how exhausting it Can he but this I can’t excuse. I’m coming all the way from Virginia so I can’t go back for anything. I don’t usually put out reviews but this one has to go In.

    I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, was told there was no egg and they were limited on certain menu items. I ordered hash browns, everything bagel bites, caramel signature iced latte, and a dozen assorted donuts. Hash browns were grease balls, mini bagels were burnt, latte was WRONG, donuts were good. Dining area and kitchen looked funky. No napkins in dining area. There was a lady sitting with a baby, talking to an employee and from the table, she requested a coffee..which was directly brought to her. I had to wait for my food because the girl making the latte didn't even know that I'd ordered food. I saw at least 3 employees. They were not busy, they looked like they didn't want to be there. My first experience at a Dunkin was a total fail. Emporia 🙄🤦‍♀️

    Slow service. It took 7 minutes to get a box of Joe from the drive through. Noone else on line and the store was empty. The two employees inside where just talking to each other and not taking care of the only order. I gave them a 2 star instead of one because at least the attendee was friendly.

    I always order ahead, but EVERY time when I go pick up my food, they don't always have what I ordered. I keep reminding them to update their inventory of food/drink items in their app, but this makes the 4th Time this has happened where 2 or 3 items are not available. AND, they want to substitute another item rather than refunding your money. AND, they seem to always have only 1 person there in the evenings. This all keeps happening about every time we stop there. Not good business! 😡

    Was told that frozen coffee isn't actually coffee and is only frozen milk with whatever flavor you pick, This location has always been horrible when it comes to consistency. It seems as if they do literally 0 training. Not sure how it's still even open.

    Emporia Virginia location was excellent, we live in Seaford Delaware and it's hit or miss the size of the donuts are smaller and the coffee was so so.

    We have traveled up and down Rt95 several times and stayed in Emporia. We have used this DD each time, but for the past 3 or 4 times we have not had a good experience. We have not had good luck. They serve the coffee in a large cup when ordered as a medium and as a result the requested flavor is diluted. The coffee has recently been weak. They put cream in an order of black coffee, or the Service at the window has been slow at best. This last time the server was so friendly and pleasant, but unfortunately she wasn't trained well on the register and had to have help. But we had ordered a wake up wrap and a muffin... but got 2 wake up wraps instead, and charged for the muffin. Not sure I'll stop again.

    11/26/2023 @430pm I dont normally leave bad reviews . BUT If I could give negative stars I would !!!! After waiting for a while for some help . Went in just for a plain donut they had none , they had maybe 4 kinds of random ones got a powdered one for my son tried it before we walked out of the store had to spit it out in the trash . It tasted kike theybhad been sitting there ALL day . It was so old , hard and cold tasting I had to throw the whole thing away . The nastiest donut I have ever tasted. If you are brave enough to go there and get lucky that they have any donuts I would highly suggest asking how long they have been sitting there before you pay for them.

    One of the managers there named Heather, she has the best smile, attitude,and has the absolute most patients my wife and I have ever seen! If this store would hire more employees like her the world would be a better place! Thank you so much Heather for the great smile, personality and most of all for making our drinks with precision and accuracy! We will definitely be swinging back thru on our way home.....

    Other shops should follow by example from that young man inside this location nobody would ever get less than a five star review!!!! He is a shining example of what a good employee and worker is!!!! If management reads this that young man needs a raise and a freaking promotion. Way to go sir!!! You are a prime example of how all people should be!!!

    Walk in to order Donuts. 12 donuts were $41. Donuts were good. But I thought they were pricey. Had not been to a donut place in a while.

    This is the absolute worst Dunkin’ I have ever experienced. Lazy, slow, and incompetent employees. Did I say slow? Avoid at all costs. As much as I dislike Starbucks, the new one in Emporia will put this location out of business in the next 6 months.

    The WORST experience I've had as a customer in my 45+ years of spending. Order placed online, but not ready about 10 minutes later when I walked in the store. Not like it was busy, there was only one other customer in the place. Took another 10 minutes to get a 2/3 full drink, and when asked to fill, the worker insisted that's how she was trained to make the drink and to leave room for "mixing". The best part was being accused of "giving attitude since walking thru the door" and muttering something about up and quitting. Not everyone is cut out for customer service, not interacting with humans. Quit, find a profession that's better suited to your personality. As far as Dunkin is concerned, hire, train and pay well enough to keep staff worthy of training, but more importantly, shed the dead weight that's ruining your customers' experience. Do your job and manage.

    My husband ordered two plain bagels and they were hard as a rock. They love to give stale bagels. To early in the morning to not have fresh food.Emporia have to do better with serving customers and giving out fresh food. Things are too costly to not get what you asked for.

    I tried ordering a raisin bagel, omelette bites, an egg sandwich, and humus toast with tomatoes. The server said there wasn’t any rasin bagels left and no humus….but a lady came in right after us order way may more and gave this lady a rasin bagel, magically. Their order was out within five minutes and our order took 30 minutes to make!!! One person was in front of us. When confronting the staff they said they go as slow as they want and they rolled their eyes at us. Horrible service.

    I went to Emporia Dunkin Donuts on a Saturday morning at 9:15 and tried to order food. The lady told me there was no food because she was busy. There was no one in there but me. I ordered an ice coffee with 2 Carmel swirls and 1 cream. She left the Carmel out. When I left the lady was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. She was very rude and needs to be fired!

    Their hot coffee machine wasn't working so I couldn't get hot coffee (in a coffee spot, I couldn't get hot coffee). Then every drink had a different proportion of milk to coffee ratio. 1 of them had spoiled milk. Couldn't get a replacement because we were driving through the state. I would give it a 0 stars if I could.

    I went there yesterday evening and the young had an attitude when I told her my drink was watered down and if she didn’t put a lot of the cream she would have room for the cold brew and That the job she choice so act like you like and be respectful when people spending THEIR Money

    So I used to make an exception where I would not leave negative comments because businesses are struggling due to covid related staffing issues. But bad service is rampant. I went inside and learned that I could not order inside, the sign said I had to use the drive thru. I used the drive through only to receive rock hard donuts. I love Dunkin but this place left me less than satisfied. I was on the road and looking forward to a nice sugar fix but could not do anything about it since I was back on the highway. I think I was already upset about not being able to order inside so I gave 3 stars. Their rock hard donuts really deserve 1 star but at least they had friendly staff.

    Just stopped in and got breakfast and in and my wife's sandwiches where cold and the croissant was road hard. The coffee was good and the people was nice I hate give a bad review for a 1 time stop and the people working was real nice so that's why I gave the 3 star.

    Went through drive thru no one ever came across speaker waited 8 min nothing. Drove up to window and waited an additional 5 min no one ever acknowledged us. This was 9 am no one in drive thru. Will not return to this location.

    Ordered bagels with butter and cream cheese and a coffee. Both bagels had butter but no cream cheese. They were still good bagels just not what I paid for. Staff seemed very overwhelmed.

    I went inside and was told that I could not order inside, the one employee for the gas station /Dunkin combination said I had to use the drive thru. So I used the drive through only to be told it would be at least 10 minutes because they are switching shifts. Why she didn't tell me that inside is a question I will never have an answer to. Maybe if the store was properly staffed both me and the sole employee would have had a better day.
