This place proved Google reviews can't go wrong. Fatima and Suki took care of us like and gave amazing suggestions too. The taste of all our dishes were mouthwatering. Special mention to the Mezze platter and the bread was fantastic. There was a buy one get one offer on the tea.. The first tea was brilliant and the second tea that we had towards the end of dinner wasn't that great. May be it was the end of the serving hours and the staff were tired, but the first tea was just banging!! The ambience and the environment were perfect too. I can't wait to go back here and try rest of the items from their menu.

Just been there with a friend who came from overseas, the whole experience from start to finish is great. 10 of 10 for every single aspect of this meal. service is super excellent, food looks marvellous and tastes flavourful, prices are fair for the portion size. In sum, clean delicious and convenient. Will go there again especially to hospitalise people coming from abroad.

Went to order take away from here. While waiting, the restaurant looked very lovely and cozy! Next time I'll definitely eat in! Very comfortable seats and lovely decor. [EDIT] I've ate in and ordered via this place too. Perfect each time! The food was perfectly wrapped. We got the mixed large shawarma, hummous and falafel. The falafel were heart shaped which was so cute. This place is halal. I'll definitely recommend and visit again.

Loved the food and the service! We found the place from google reviews when looking for a good middle eastern cuisine restaurant to have dinner at. Its a tiny space with limited seating, but the food was delicious! Fatima, who served our table for the evening, was very sweet n friendly, and she made sure we tasted all the good options they had 😊 left with a happy tummy n a happy heart. Definitely returning! Thank you Palmyra😊

Popped in on Saturday for lunch. Nice. Hilled atmosphere, decor not too over the top. Had the grill platter for two, with side salad. A hefty and filling meal, very nicely cooked (juicy chicken) and tasty rice. Much better quality than other Syrian/Lebanese restaurants I have been to in Birmingham. Service not the fastest, but pleasant and competent - have nothing to complain about - loved it!

Moseley Village is a great little place for great food. Gem amongst the gems is Palmyra. Beautiful setting where one doesn't want to leave from!! Feels just like sitting at home but somewhere in the Middle East. Been here a number of times and the selection and the quality never fails to amaze me. The staff and the owner are really friendly too. Definitely worth a visit.

Found this place on Google while looking for middle eastern food. And it is simply AMAZING! The ambience and music gave a true flavour of Lebanese culture. We had a Mezza platter, mixed grill platter for a group of 3. The staff explained each item on the platter and were very courteous. The special tea stole the evening. It's a must must have! Do visit this place for some authentic middle eastern food. ✨

The recent value restaurant champion, Havet, has been beaten and beaten well. Palmyra Mediterranean Food offers a feast that cannot be beaten on price anywhere in the near and far shores of our wonderful island. The relaxed Syrian staff member with warmth in his smile and a twirl in his moustache took me through the extensive menu. A shade above £10 bought 4 hot messes (one was thrown in for free) a spinach flat bread and plain flat breads. I was in awe at the feast that lay before me. This vibrant selection of foods was fresh, piquing and light. The humble Syrian themed surroundings hosted a multicultural slice of Moseley. It was enjoyable just being there, sitting comfortably on the cushioned bench.

Nice place in Moseley for Syrian and Lebanese food. The Lamb shank with rice was amazing. Enjoyed the Mint and Lemon fresh juice as well. Very good and friendly service. Halal food.

The food and place looked lovely inside. But the food itself was not the best. I personally like their harerra soup tastes lovely. Their mezza salad had some good parts to it. The meat not the best of taste was missing some flavour and the chicken was extremely dry. Feedback would be to proce the dryness of the chicken and I'd give it another shot see if there are any positives. Service was good otherwise Friendly faces and lovely people. Maybe next time the food will be on point ill give it another chance. Thanks

The service was amazing and the place was well decorated and cozy. We started off with Moroccan tea which was delicious then with our starters, we got a small mixed mezza platter and harira soup, I have no words to describe how delicious it was and how eager I am to return. I live in a completely different city and yet I whole heartedly plan to return with my friends to share the experience. Unfortunately, the main dishes were disappointing compared to the appetizers. The fact that I am middle eastern and am used to eating these mains as home cooked meals may make me too judgmental over the food. We got a tahini kofte and mixed shawarma, I found both to be dry though the spicing was not bad. Overall, I will 100% return for the appetizers, tea and a lot more of that harira soup. Ps ( they served 4 grape leaves, but we started off with it before taking the picture) Edit: sure enough, i bought my friends and came back for the appetisers. Safe to say, everyone was very happy and we managed to finish the food plus more soup, some dessert and tea. I truly would recommend going, and the service truly is superb

I was in Birmingham and fancied some Middle Eastern food. Palmyra came up and I thought to give it a try and honestly it was a great place to eat. It was nice and cozy within the restaurant. For starters we had the mixed mezze and cleared the plate clean. The lamb shawarma was fresh and had so much flavour. We also got a mixed grill and the kebabs were soft and juicy. The chips were also great, with it being crispy outside and fluffy inside. To be honest it's one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to.

Me and my wife saw Palmyra recently as a new place taking over from the old Lewis's. We had to try it out seeing that the menu was similar to Damascena, which is one of our favourite places in Moseley. The food was equally as good, some differences in menu options, the hummus and the falafels were slightly better than Damascena in my opinion. The prices were slightly higher. My wife and I got the mixed mezze for 2 and compared to the Damascena one, it wasn't as filling quantity wise. We expected more hummus and at least 4 falafels instead of 2, since the mezze for 1 person gets 3 falafels. The small basket of flatbread is free which is a great bonus but we didn't know until paying time. Would definitely go back but get 2 x mixed mezze for 1 as it has more. If you can't get space in Damascena, its equally as good for the loyal fans of this type of food.

I really liked ambience of the place. It is a little Morrocan getaway . . . Food was much better then expected and staff were very friendly. Also I loved the water jug (it isn't really a jug, very unique) right there so you can pour as much water for yourself without asking.

I visited last week with my Syrian friends, our third visit, and it was just as good as we remembered. My friends had shawarma, and I had halloumi wrap. We all had tabbouleh, mine without tomato (I know, I'm weird!) all lovely and fresh. Excellent Syrian food. Highly recommend.

Ordered a chicken shwarma wrap meal, girlfriend ordered a halloumi and falafel wrap meal. Chicken was perfect, she really enjoyed her wrap as well. Chips were perfectly done too, even the fresh veg was nice! The guy gave us 2 free cans of pop upon leaving as well which was nice. My girlfriend was impressed with the veggie options. There was only us and 1 other person in there hence the 3 star atmosphere. All in all a nice experience with really good food! Would definitely go again!

First time for us in this restaurant. It is a rather small one, with simple but nice decor. The music was a bit off (some relaxing stuff) but we've focused on the meals and the company. The menu is comprehensive and I'm sure it's a good start to test out the foods from that part of the world. We went for sea bass with rice and some Arabic chicken shawarma again with rice, a Palmyra milk shake and Palmyra smoothie. All in all all was very nice, we've managed to eat it all but for sure we didn't need dessert afterwards... I recommend this place for those who want to try something different but still a bit familiar, and want to have a full sized dish rather than taster bites.

The decor, staff and choice is a good mix that represent the theme it cater for. The con is the food need more attention to details in terms of presentation and texture. Would recommend for the fresh juices and Meza but not for the mains.

Today ate here with my family and as soon as you come in it’s a nice welcome from the staff. Ordered off the menu and it’s have a large variety of food here catering to all. As soon as the food came the food look so nice and colourful. The Turkish tea was very nice and the kids had a milkshake the best milkshake we had in Birmingham so far. We would be back next time we in Moseley and people should try the beautiful food here.

If you like waiting absolutely ages for less than mediocre food and you also like being charged for items you didn't order, then this is the place for you. We arrived at this "cosy" little place at about 2:30pm and were promptly seated and had our orders taken. My son wanted the English breakfast, my wife had lamb mandi and i went for the mixed grill. We also ordered a vanilla shake for my son and 2 cans of coke at £1.50 each! Almost immediately after, the waitress said the breakfast wasn't available and directed us to order the kids chicken burger meal. It came with a drink so she cancelled the milkshake at our request. We specified the burger should have no salad and just a bit of mayo. Over 45 mins later and our drinks now at room temp, my wife's mandi arrives. No sign of my sons burger meal or my mixed grill. These arrived another 10 mins after and instantly I noted the chips had been overdone. I also noticed my sons burger was oozing mayo. I'd have no issue with the wait but the meat pieces were totally unseasoned. The mandi was only slightly better but the burger was not nice at all. Plus they'd used garlic mayo on everything, which you'd expect to have been asked about. The salad garnish was also not nice and had pickled gherkin and carrot pieces. Finally we came to pay and that was a disaster too. I was billed for the original order despite not having had the milkshake or the English breakfast. The waitress then said it would be easier to give me a cash refund as I'd paid by card already, and handed me £4.01p. Clearly lacking basic maths skills she tried to cover her blunder by giving me the £1 she owed me but there was still the charge for the breakfast and not the kids burger meal. I left the difference with them because by that point I'd had enough. So many better places serving similar or the same and getting it right that you could avoid this place and not be missing out. Overpriced, underdelivered. AVOID!

I ordered 2 mince chicken kebabs with rice and separate fries on uber eats. The kebabs were incredibly dry and were basically inedible. They were very difficult to chew, it was like beef jerky. I'm not sure if they were overcooked or if their recipe isn't right, but the underside of one kebab was quite blackened. There was even some type of sauce brushed along the top but even that wasn't enough to help with the dryness. The flavour wasn't anything to be reckoned with, tbh I've made better at home but on this occasion I was was very busy and had no time to cook so I decided to order. I'm giving two stars not one because the rice was okay, quite heavy on the cinnamon though. And the fries were good, they were fried in the right type fat and they had a nice mild seasoning rub on them. They did give me a mini can of sprite too, so thanks for that. The garlic sauce was amazing, light and fluffy, very garlicky but not the raw burning flavour. And the chilli sauce, spicy with coriander, very nice. Honestly, I'm really confused I don't know how or why this happened on this occasion, because you simply wouldn't be able to survive as a business if you put food out like this on a regular basis, so it's probably a one off but still, it has to be two stars for this review. Furthermore the reviews here are amazing so it was probably just the one off, I'll try again in the future probably, just because of that.
