Very good food and great location. However, I had to wait almost 30 minutes before someone came to take even my drink order. I ordered an appetizer, but they forgot my main dish. I waited 40 minutes before I reminded them. I received no compensation other then an apology. I had leftovers, and one was messy. They were put in a container that leaked all over the seat of my car. But the food is great!

Awesome wild boar burger 🍔 reasonable prices and big portions :-) staff are friendly and offered a kids / baby menu (albeit a small selection) and a high chair.
Great food, clearly freshly made... Had the veal with chanterelle mushrooms (Pfifferlinge) on beautifully al dente tagliatelle. Lovely!
One of my favorite places for dinner in Weiden. It’s casual dress with more formal fare. The decor is modern. I’ve seen families and fur babies be welcomed in. I highly recommend any of the steaks or the lamb. The schnitzel is so-so. And the desserts are beautiful and tasty.
Rather disappointing today. We were sitting outside getting colder and colder while waiting for our food to arrive 1.5h after we ordered. Overall the seasoning seemed quite off with everything savory being very sweet actually. Underwhelming experience for that pricetag!
Excellent restaurant using fresh, quality ingredients ask served in a beautiful presentation. We've been here severely times now in the month we've been here and never been disappointed. Tonight we tried the jumbo shrimp appetizer which is served in a huge bed of nicely dressed salad... makes the shrimp look kind small, but doubles as appetizer and salad in one, enough for two to share. Must try: Angus Oxen dish which is a huge melt-in-your-mouth tender piece of meat with amazing flavor, and the mixed grill medallion plate, with delicious Bratkartoffeln, and also very generous. The schnitzel was also excellent, and made with veal, kind of a rarity in this land of pork. My daughter loves the burger, which is so tall it requires a knife and fork, though a tad pricey at 16€. And save room for the melted chocolate dessert---just don't plan on sharing it, the serving is quite small, though delicious. They serve some delicious organic fruit lemonades, that have a nice light flavor and minimal calories (24/bottle). Recommend the rhubarb strawberry one especially. Service has always been very friendly. Menu has English translations. Outdoor seating is great when weather is nice, but there is plenty of room inside too.

Good food, knowledgeable staff, cozy comfortable environment for the cold months. Looking forward to a dinner in the summer when cafe season kicks off! This is definitely a good place for dinner with you significant, not sure I'd bring the kids...so hit this on date night when you ditch the littles.
Great ambience. Friendly hosts and waiter. Amazing food. Had the fish soup and the burger. Both were extremely good. Cooked well with the flavors exploding in your mouth. Wonderful experience.

After the starter (ok, but nothing special) we waited over two hours. Waiters passed at us many times, none informed us about how long we'd still have to wait or even apologized. The food was served without any apologies either. Moreover, it's understood that we had reserved the table and didn't just drop by spontaneously. After waiting for so long and paying much higher prices than average, we expected something spectacular. What we got was mediocre at best. I could have cooked linguine with oil (what it technically was, in more fancy words though) in roughly twenty minutes myself, at cost of below 2 euro. Also, eating my portion had me bite on sand at least three times. The decoration is rarely existent, a single, short tulip and a bland candle. An additional negative point, kid meals are only served up to 12 years of age, and their descriptions are meant to be funny but sound rather disrespectful. There are many better and cheaper restaurants with a much better service in the region. We won't come back.
