I have severe pain in left knee can barely walk. Swedish Medical gave me referral to see specialist at Ortho One. It took me longer to fill out paper work than time they spent examining me. Said here is a knee wrap if it still hurts in 3 weeks come back and see us. Top of there field and thats there best. Is it because I'm a Hispanic male on Medicade. What I do know is if you are the best there is and you can give no help then maybe something else going on. Very Disappointed will never go back to Swedish Medical.

I had a right knee replacement done by Dr John Woodward. The surgery went very well and he is an awesome surgeon. I had a great outcome and rehab continues to go very well. I am very thankful to the Lord for directing me to this fine surgeon who is a joy to talk to because Dr Woodward takes you through the whole process and makes it understandable and gets you on your way to a successful rehab and recovery. Thanks to all of Dr Woodward’s team!

I had a severe ligament tear in my right ankle, urgent care completely overlooked it. Dr. Schmidt immediately saw it and we scheduled for surgery. It's been about 4 months and I have minimal to no pain. So incredibly grateful for Dr. Schmidt and everyone at Ortho One.

OrthoONE is amazing! I had knee replacement surgery. Dr. Woodward was my surgeon he did an amazing job. I have neuropathy so it was a painful recovery, however Dr. Woodward sent me to a pain specialist and it has been an amazing recovery. I now need my right knee replacement and I am looking forward to going back to Dr. Woodward to get this done. You will be so happy with his expertise, knowledge and caring heart. His staff are all kind and pleasant to work with. Elizabeth was caring and thoughtful. I promise you will be in great hands.

I first saw Dr Assini June 26, 2020, which was during the Pandemic. I had a really bad right hip. He was very upfront about my hip and explained that during the Pandemic the surgery would be considered elective and due to my condition and circumstances wanted to wait until the Pandemic was over before replacement surgery. Two years later when the Pandemic was over I went into making surgery arrangements and the right hip is doing great! Dr Assini emails his surgical patients almost every day from the surgery date is scheduled and even in the hospital. Dr. Assini is a very fine surgeon and has a very fine staff. Those new fiberglass beds have a phone charger in them and be sure to take your phone charger with you to the hospital with you. He does send the emails early and most of the hospital staff isn’t aware that he does this because he wants to know how you’re really feeling. I have had no pain in right hip since the surgery.

Dr. Schmidt quickly gave what appears to be an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. My only problem was finding the right parking structure. Give yourself an extra 15 or more minutes to find the right place.

The PA that saw me was dismissive, and didn’t seem to care my knee was hurting me. She just ordered another X-ray.

I have had a great experience with all the staff from the pre op.. OR ..to recovery room.. I happen to have a new grad as my post nurse and she was great. The office staff is very fun , friendly and helpful. The Dr and PAs have been awesom. They took time to answer my questions and my knee surgery was a success. I highly recommend Dr Assini and his staff!!

It had been many years since I needed an emergency room and I was very impressed at the way everything was handled. I was seen within a few minutes and even the X-ray machine was brought to the room where I waited. The staff was professional and thoughtful. I would recommend Swedish to my family and friends.

I have been a patient of this practice for 2 1/2 years. From Dr. Assini to his PA’s to all of his staff, they all are caring, respectful, conscientious professionals. I have only had positive experiences at their office and I highly recommend trusting them to provide the highest level of care.

I just cannot express my gratitude and admiration for Dr. Assini's team and the whole staff at Swedish Medical Center. I went in to get a whole knee replacement but they ended up finding pus and slime on the inside of the bone when removing hardware from a previous surgery. I am so thankful that Dr. Assini made the responsible decision and aborted performing the replacement in case there is an infection. I suffer from from general anxiety and occasionally have severe panic attacks. Upon learning that they could not perform the surgery and that it would take up to a couple of weeks for the lab to process and culture the samples, I had the most extreme panic attack I have ever had. The staff was very understanding, compassionate, and patient and with me when I was in this manic, neurotic mental state due to my anxiety. They were kind and comforting, and always took care of all my needs. I want to give special shout-outs to Doctor Assini, Diana, Corey (who always answered my calls which were usually at night), Janeane (who was constantly there for me all night since I could not sleep), Shannon, Lucas, Kendall, Sarah, Jenna, Jessa, Adrienne, and every one who worked the ninth floor during my stay I might have forgotten. They truly helped ease my anxiety when I needed it most. Thanks everyone, y'all were fantastic.

This is for doctor Assini. I found out that I needed hip replacement surgery. So I went in to see him about my hip pain. So I made an appointment with him and seen his assistant and he told me that I am going to need to get the hip surgery. So I prepared. The was sending information on what to do and what I would need and what he would do during the surgery. He was really good on keeping me updated. Not only during the surgery but after and letting what I needed to do and watching out for blood clots. He did an amazing job..my recovery. Was not easy with PT. I basically got to work not much after a month. That's the quickest recovery that I have ever had. If you need a good surgeon go to doctor Joseph Assini. You will not regret it at Ortho One at swedish all the staff is great. Thank you doctor Assini. I an so greatfull for you and your staff. God bless you and your family.
