I'm so glad I found this little gem of a restaurant. The people here are so welcoming, and the food is delicious. We were fortunate enough to be here on a night they had the special going on, so we did a platter for two and a hummus plate. It was so much food, and every bite was amazing. The baklava was very tasty, worth it even after being so full from the meal.

It honestly can't get any better than this. I LOVE BOSPHORUS AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Now, when you first walk in you may be a little hesitant. Take that thought and throw it out the window (and continue to do so). The best restaurants never have fancy decor! I came here last month with a colleague who is from Turkey. She said that Bosphorus is the best Turkish food that she's had in the U.S. This was my first experience but oh my god, it's so delicious. We received SO MUCH FOOD and it was the best price ever. The owner is so kind and really hooked us up. He even made this chicken that straight fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. It was like better and easily the tastiest chicken I've ever eaten in my life. He said it took 7 hours to make. So much love goes into this food. I live in Florida and am wanting to come back to Denver just for another meal!

The best Gyro we’ve had in Denver so far! The portions are big enough so that one sandwich will fill you up. We also got stuffed grape leaves which were really tasty and way better than we’ve ever had before. Can’t wait to try their other dishes!

Amazing find. This is the real deal. If you want some authentic Turkish cuisine, look no further. This is a great place to get takeout, or have some Turkish coffee and lentil soup with a friend. There are, I think, 4 tables total, so it's not very big inside (thus takeout). The staff is friendly and helpful and was even willing to give suggestions. The lentil soup was more tomato-ey than I had expected, and also the gyro platter comes with a tomato sauce, so if that's something your not into, I might steer clear. Otherwise, everything was fantastic and just as you might expect. The gyro is shaved fresh in front of you and is amazing. Not to mention, all of the veggies were super fresh! (Just look at that plate!!) Thanks for the wonderful time and delicious food.

Amazing food. Rice was perfect, meat was very well seasoned. Eggplant and stuffed grape leaves were delicious appetizers too, will definitely be back anytime I'm craving that homemade Mediterranean.

Fantastic food and fantastic people. My wife and I visited one quiet Saturday evening for a date to try something new. The gentleman serving us was cheerful and talkative, asking about us and such. We did a platter with their special extra meat they offer on the weekend, everything was incredibly delicious. The owner/chef came out to talk with us as well which is something I never experience at restaurants. Highly recommend checking them out!

The fried eggplant appetizer is very tasty! It has no breading and a great texture. For dinner, we ordered the special, which had a lot of different meats, all of which were super tender—like “fall off the bone” good. The prices were great too, especially considering the big portions! I would’ve just added a bit more salt/seasoning to the eggplant and meat. But definitely planning to return!

I got the gyro plate with gyro meat and rice. The rice was cooked well and everything tasted fresh. Also came with a side of tzatziki and some lettuce, tomato, onion, pita bread. We ordered a side of fries and a side of gyro meat. All of this together was more than enough for myself and two toddlers. I ordered through Grubhub and it took about 45 minutes to get to me from when I ordered. The prices are fair and the food is great. Definitely recommend!

This was truly amazing shawarma, and I'm no stranger to middle eastern food. The owner was friendly and fast, with an obvious depth of experience. My coworker and I barely spoke as we ate because the flavors and textures were so good. You will not regret a visit here!

I went here when I was serving here almost a year ago. I loved the food! It was the best gyro I've ever had! I later went again and tried their big plate of food. It's a higher end restaurant in terms of cost, so keep that in mind. The Staff were also really kind to us missionaries! It was so sweet!

Flavor in every bite. Juicy and tender meats. Hummus just the right consistency and fluffy-firm pita bread. Now I understand why this establishment has many awards. Lastly, the house staff are welcoming and down to Earth - Felt like I was back in Turkiye. p.s. pro tip - mix a bit of hummus with your rice, place that on your pita, splash it with bit of hot sauce, place your meat on top, squeeze a strip of tzatziki on the meat, add olive, peppercini, tomato, romaine lettuce to preference, then take a healthy bite :)

This place is amazing!! I totally recommend. I got the veggie sandwich (a great option for vegans or vegetarians) and it was DELICIOUS. The fries are amazing, too. I also had the Turkish Coffee and it was outstanding. The pita bread is amazing, especially with the delicious and fresh hummus. The service is amazing and the waiters are great and patient. Everything was just so fresh and delicious, 10/10!! The atmosphere is peaceful and charming, and the Turkish culture decorations were awesome.

10/10 would recommend! We both had the chicken pita sandwich with rice, and of course some baklava for dessert. The chicken was SO flavorful and yummy, great portion sizes and the service was spot on. The place is pretty small, so we took our food to go, but the man taking our order was super friendly and offered us some tea (pictured) while we waited for our order. Will definitely be back

Very friendly staff and very delicious Mediterranean food! The Bosphorus Combination was a loaded take out container with perfectly grilled chicken & tasty meatballs + shawarma. The fries were good considering they are regular pre-cut fries!

This place is always amazing, the guys there are super friendly. It's always clean and the food is absolutely amazing!! I will definitely be going there again. I recommend you do too. Edit: The photos are of a Gyro sandwich plater, one with fries the other with a salad. I've been going to this place for about a year now, and it's still one of my favorite places to go and eat. I'm always so happy and excited to here I normally forget to take a photo of what I have ordered.

Such a charming restaurant. I needed to kill a little time in the area, and it was a blustery, knock-you-down windy day. I wanted a good cup of tea, really, and I am always skeptical of large coffee chains, they never get it right. I saw good reviews for this place, and thought I could grab a light lunch too. I hadn't had a decent baklava since moving from London, anyway. I got the Bosphorus platter for one, some baklava & 3 (!) cups of tea. So fresh, just what I wanted! Big salad, plenty of hummus & pita bread, I could eat a million of those falafel ( I should have added another), a tasty grape leaf roll, olive, tomato, red onion. I don't know where they got the feta, maybe they make it in house, but it was super fresh & I could certainly stand a bit more in the salad! The bomb honest. The baklava was crispy & dense, just like it should be. Most of what I've had lately is greasy & lacking freshness & oomph. This was perfect, hence the extra cup of tea! Definitely recommend this place, what a treat & such a change of pace from everyone else.

Fantastic food. The gyro plate with a combination of beef/lamb and chicken gyro meat, and the salad, were among the best I have had in the US in a long time. They make their own hot sauce that you can use which adds an excellent depth of flavor. I feel foolish that I had not eaten here until recently seeing as how I have lived in Englewood for 5 years. They appear to do a steady takeout business in addition to providing dine-in service in their small dining room. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the awesome experience. It was a delight to dine in your Turkish restaurant Mr. Melih! As an Iranian I can appreciate the atmosphere. I enjoyed learning about you, you’re experiences and good fortune. Cheers friend.

Amazing food, big portions, great prices and even better staff! The owners took the time to explain and offer suggestions since it was our first time. One of them even drank tea with us! You can tell they put their heart into their food and love their customers. Everything we had was fantastic and they told us they are known for their meat which takes hours to make. Restaurant has 4 tables, it was really busy on a Friday night for takeout but we were able to get the last table to dine in. Check this place out!!

This place is small but they were amazing at making our bigger party comfortable. The food was amazing and the staff was even better! They talked with us, made sure we were happy and well fed! If you are looking for great Mediterranean food, this is definitely the place to go! We very much appreciated the service and they went above and beyond for us and were friendly and chatted with us just to be nice.

Cute hole in the wall, charming restaurant. Highly recommend - Had lunch - Orange tea, fried eggplant, entrees: meatball kebob, and Bosphorus Combination Bogaz (chicken, meatballs, and beef-lamb gyro) all were delicious. Very fresh ingredients and salad. LOVED everything and especially the beef-lamb gyro and rice. Great, friendly service & attention to detail.

It’s a small neighborhood eatery, but the food is good. There is limited seating so you may have to wait a bit. Food and service is really great. We are vegetarians so tried the mezze platter and falafel sandwich. Sandwich was a little dry but apart from that taste was all good.

If ever there was a perfect little “hole in the wall” this has got to be it! We took eight people here and filled the place up, everyone got a delicious meal. You will hear the owner cooking away on a sizzling grill in the background and the soft sound of Turkish music. From vegetarian platter with eggplant and stuffed grape leaves to the combination platter, everything was cooked in Turkish style. The gyro meat was flavorful and exactly what you want when looking for middle eastern food. We drizzled yogurt sauce and hot sauce over our food. The Turkish coffee and tea made a beautiful accompaniment to our meal. Next visit we might try groups of two or four just to make it easier to get seated. We loved this place and are looking forward to going back.

Delicious, we loved the food and ambiance. They serve very generous portions. Definitely try the spinach and feta pie and homemade dolmas. The sultan platter for two gave us enough to take home for tomorrow. They have really good baklava too.

I have been to Turkey and love finding good Turkish food. The guys who work there are really nice and easy on the eyes. The server told me that teas and coffee were on the house, and I heard him tell the table next to me something also was on the house so not sure if it's Turkish hospitality to give free food or drinks to guests. There's parking right in the front but if you have a low car it will scrape your front bumper when backing out quickly. The meze /appetizers are fresh and really good. The table cloth of the black and white print was giving me a headache as it was coming out at me. Sure if it was 420 and I was tripping, this may have been fun but experiencing a headache it was hard to not get dizzy. The dinner platter for 2 was generous in portion but found the chicken and beef overcooked and dry. Was encouraged to upgrade to the weekend special but it was not as good for me and missing the meatballs /kofte that I wanted to try.

Best restaurant we have eaten at since we arrived in Denver May 2022. Everything was freshly made, the hummus is the best we have found in Denver so far. We both loved our dishes. The employees were all nice, attentive and welcoming. We will def be back.
