Finally visited the new Asuka location here in Englewood and ordered their spicy shrimp ramen, spicy tuna poke bowl, and a couple of appetizers - the food was delicious! Fresh and rich, the spicy ramen broth was so tasty and my husband enjoyed his poke bowl, the appetizers were also very yummy! Service was friendly and prompt!

Fast casual Japanese from folks who truly understand Japanese food. It’s not fancy or mind-blowing or spicy (even spicy isn’t really spicy) or high end; it’s just good, simple, healthy handmade food that feels like family cooking. Who could ask for more at this price! The poke is good, but not as distinctive as poke in Hawaii, it was light in flavor and what I think of as perfect for mainstream/mainland folks. Mild and very easy to eat, especially on a hot day. My Japanese wife was quite happy with the Ramen; excellent broth, noodles, protein and a perfect soft egg, we will definitely be back for more ramen! Overall a great introduction to Japanese food in a comfortable and very clean environment with wonderful folks behind the counter. And it’s FAST! I give it ‘Five Stars’ compared to most fast-casual restaurants, it’s a great introduction to Japanese food!!!

Ordered from here because our normal place was closed today and OMG!!! The rainbow bowl is seriously SOOO good! The fish is very fresh and the ingredients go so well together! Fresh, tangy and just the right amount of spicy! Ahhh… I’m writing the review as I am eating it! Ha! I also got the fried rice and it’s super tasty as well 🤗🤗🤗 I will definitely be coming back!

Best ramen in the area! Pork belly bowl and spicy garlic edamame is also delicious. Staff is very friendly. They were open on Thanksgiving which was really lucky for us non-cookers.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I got the pork belly rice bowl and a boba smoothie and I absolutely recommend both. I will absolutely come again to try something new.

Got a menu in the mail a few weeks ago & finally tried take out last night. This place is delicious & the servings were generous. Food was ready in about 25 minutes. We had friends over so we all shared meals. We had a shrimp tempura bowl, rainbow bowl, salmon teriyaki bits bowl, yaki udon, spicy chicken ramen & edamame. We loved every meal & couldnt decide on which one was our favorite. We will definitely be back & would recommend this to anyone!

Great ramen that really hit the spot with my head cold on a cold night. I had the Vegetarian Tan Tan, it was excellent. I’m glad to have a place nearby in Englewood going into winter. I’ve had the poke before too, which is also good. The vegetarian egg rolls didn’t taste handmade like over at Aung’s Bangkok cafe so they were kind of a let down, but still amazing ramen and definitely scratches a different itch than Pho or Thai Curry.

Definitely a 2.5-3/5 but want to give this new restaurant the benefit of doubt. I had the spicy chicken ramen. It is extremely bland like zero taste going on, the spice is almost non existent. Noodles were slightly mushy and not firm like they should be fresh, also a very small portion of noodles. Chicken was good but lacked flavor and was on the fatty side. Also definitely prefer pickled egg with ramen over the slightly poached runny one. Worth the $20 price tag? Absolutely not. But I'm definitely gonna give this place another shot and order something else next time. I had take out but the restaurant seemed nice and so did the staff.

Awesome food and awesome smoothies! The people working there are very very nice and knowledgeable about any questions a customer might have. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Japanese food.

Staff and service was spectacular! Friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding. Definitely go support local family owned business.

Ordered ahead on the phone. Order was sold to another customer. So I repurchased my order with it being slightly different. Asked for it to be remade and stated I would wait in my vehicle. Waited ten minutes and went back in. Front counter stated that the other customer called back and was bringing back the original order. No order was being made. Again I stressed to make a FRESH order and while waiting the old order shows back up to the store where it is hurried into the back. 4 minutes later I have a 'fresh order'. Which I get home and find that it has not been re made, it is the original order that had been taken out of the store since they missed my new instructions. Cannot believe they would even consider giving me food back that went out the door. Who knows what some stranger did to it before I had a chance to consume it. ... Called back and they tried to play it off as fresh, or that the 'chef must've missed it'. Would've been easier to make a second set of meals because you sold it to the wrong customer. I ordered here a small handful of times and I was not disappointed, however this is gross and I will not be returning. Edit: they gave me my money back when I brought them the bag of food. So I will raise it to 2 stars. I did enjoy the food while I went here so it wasn't all bad. I get that there's times where you're busy, however when my s.o. asked to have the poke bowl remade only to get home and be so frustrated that the response was to throw it away. I did decide to impulse order more food despite the mix up at the counter that night ( giving my food to another customer) after asking politely for fresh food and spending more than I had intended even after the blunder, they didn't make me a fresh set of meals. (And no saying dining in won't help this. I have brought many people to dine in there and your takeout while not as great as sitting down, its still pretty good). That evening those were the same meals that went out the door with the other customer. I'm glad they were satiated, because after waiting 30 minutes at the store I called a order ahead for I was met with disappointment and frustration. Win some lose some. Because of the circumstances here I will more than likely not be returning.
