Stayed here on 26/Aug./2022, room 223, second floor. Clean, quiet (because it's a corner, next to mid-building stairs). Basic accommodation, no fridge, no coffee maker. Building is neither new nor old, still good enough. No bed bugs, not a trace. Best thing is a new freshly mopped up vinyl flooring, no grungy carpets ! Good hot and cold water pressure in the shower, bathtub drains OK. My non-smoking room was a REAL thing, not a whiff of smoke ! Checked out early, can't comment on their coffee/breakfast. Friendly staff, checked me in couple hours before a 2 pm check-in time. Convenient and safe location in a dead-end ally next to I-70 off ramp, 10-15 min drive to downtown Dayton, Waffle house next door, Meyers across the street. Payed $65 a night total, worth the money spent.

We were looking for a inexpensive, safe & pet-friendly place close I70 to stop for the night. This place fit the bill perfectly! The decor wouldn't win any interior design awards but everything was clean & the bed was comfy enough. The back parking lot was well-lit & when I took my dogs out at 1:30 am, an Englewood cop was slowly rolling through. He didn't appear to be looking for anything in particular and didn't pay me any mind so I took his passing through as just a safety check. (I've stayed in some other low-priced hotels where extra lighting and a safety check would have been much appreciated!) So if you're looking for a clean, convenient, cheap & safe place where you and your dogs can crash for the night, this is it!

This room was something out of a nightmare. First the nighttime clerk was not friendly. Second we got in our room and it had strong smoke smell, the smoke detector was lying on table, the furniture was broken, the bed linen looked and smelled unchanged, the floors were so dirty and the walls and curtains had stains, the towels had stains, the door looked like someone hammered it, the bathroom tub had purple stains and mold growing on the tun surround. We left and went to find another more suitable hotel and contacted corporate immediately since their website stated our stay was non refundable. I then received a call from the employees at the Motel 6 site scolding me and telling me I did not handle the situation right. I ask them if they would have had another cleaner room available and they stated… “you should have told us you left so we could have rented that room to someone else”. I felt harrassed and will be taking this issue further!

Bodily fluids everywhere it appears. Just spend the extra money to stay in another hotel nearby. It was absolutely disgusting and the staff did not care. Only room available at 2am, so I slept on top of covers in a full length robe. Didn’t want to touch anything. Unsanitary and Everything had stains or Grime. Expedia said the hotel refused a refund and the front desk said she would speak to her owner after I showed her the pictures.

Professional, friendly, clean, quiet, and affordable! I can't complain about a thing. Our cat was able to stay here for free. We never had an issue getting ahold of the staff. Every issue was taken care of quickly. Every room is clean. Of course, if you get a smoking room, it will smell like cigarettes. We had a non-smoking and smoking room. The non-smoking room did not smell like smoke. Room service checks in daily for toiletries and trash. Yes it's by the highway but it's still quiet especially at night. The manager does regular checks at night to ensure there is no disturbances.

If you need a place to for a quick trip and just somewhere to sleep I recommend. I would get the studio cause the regular rooms do NOT come with a microwave or fridge. It’s a cheap, clean room with no bugs and not a lot of traffic at night.

I booked this for my husband and his dad to go to a funeral this weekend. Less than 30 minutes in the room a roach was on the lamp shade... gross then he asked for a extra towel and the guy said we don't have any, but haven't done laundry and won't have til tomorrow.

The floor was sticky and I took a dampened tissue and wiped the floor and it was black!!! I asked at the desk if I could have a bucket of water and mop and I would wash the floor myself but he said he does not have a key to the room to obtain these. You would not want a toddler or a dog that sleeps on the floor staying there. There were undesirables staying there. It was somewhat scary. I will never stay there again.

Will never stay here again!!! If we hadn't been traveling 14 hours we would have left. Plus a couple of the other motels were full. It was very nasty!! Mold in the bathroom. Dirty floors and walls! The only good thing was no bed bugs.

Ordered a non smoking room. Gave me a obviously smoking room complete with yellowed plastic on appliances, burn holes in the mattress and a overpowering smell. Tried to persuade me that it was due to people smoking outside. The employee on site did switch rooms pretty quickly so that's a plus.

The employees at night were nice and got us checked in without issue, but the guy in the morning , an older gentleman was extremely rude to my wife and the employees in the office, when we were extending the reservation that had already been paid on the app. He was upset because we paid for it through another app . I don't recommend staying here from my experience and hopefully he changes his attitude towards customers who cause no issues. Smh 😒. The room was a 2 star room at best, but thankfully the house keepers actually clean pretty well.

So, this was the cheapest option in the area, which is why I chose here. Overall, it's not bad. I've stayed at far worse places. However, despite being a non smoking room, my room reeked of cigarette smell. I ended up buying room spray to cover the smell. The sheets had mold stains on them and the pillows had cigarette burns. I always check for bugs before I bring my stuff in, and was very happy that there were none. I was also very happy that the room had a microwave and fridge! The employees were not very friendly, and made me uncomfortable to ask for anything. Not the worst, but not the best.

This was by the far the most DISGUSTING room I have ever stayed in in my life. Grime on walls, light switches. Hair in the shower that was there when I got into the room. Huge crack across the vanity that I felt could break at any moment. The bed tilted and felt like it could break. Electric cords hanging out of walls. Floors were not clean the cold and hot water in the sink was reversed. Cigarette burns on the blanket. Check in staff were not polite. I don’t expect first class at a motel 6, but I expect someone to clean the rooms between stats.

Service attendant left clothes from previous roomers give 0 stars. Room was dirty

I have no complaints when I stayed there. The owners that run it was professional, the housekeeping was nice and had great manners..The only thing I had a problem with is they don't have a refrigerator or microwave like some of the other motels. Plus we pay about the same amount for the rooms.

Very nice staff and they are currently redoing the property it looks amazing and the location is perfect right next to shopping and entertainment.

I have stayed here many many times. Lived here for 6wks when tragedy struck. I always loved it ,great location. BUT... Went a couple nights ago to rent a room so I could be by the hospital. I was so disappointed. The night time desk clerk was not friendly at all. Kind of rude actually. After further talking with him, I decided not to stay. Went to . Miller lane instead. So disappointed

First I asked for a lower level due to having to having a sprained ankle . He said they were full and put us on the second floor yet the parking lot was empty . We seen an empty room on the first floor but he (night time clerk) refused to accommodate us . The lights in the room didn’t work so we asked to be switched he then gave us another room with stained sheets and it was just dirty … they were unable to accommodate us so we left and went to a different hotel

They are doing some renovation but right now rooms are just... meh. The reason for the 1 star is because they gave my pre-paid room to someone else. I have had issues with Motel 6 in the past, so I had called to make sure they had my reservation, which they confirmed the morning of. I got there that evening and they, all the sudden, didn't have the reservation. I talked to the front desk a few hours after I had gotten another room (because I got to sleep somewhere) once I had found the confirmation number. That is when I found out they had given the room to someone else. Not even close to the same name as me, not even from the same state with the address, and that person definitely didn't have the credit card that the room was paid for on. Also, front desk a few hours after said I needed to talk to management in the morning because they couldn't do refunds. The next day, the font desk in the afternoon said they couldn't do anything and I needed to call Motel 6. Motel 6 customer service said someone would contact me in 5 days... hopefully. Pretty sure I am just going to need to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Not 100% but I do feel like this is credit card fraud to some degree. Also, my phone number and email were still on the original reservation, so not sure if the other guy got that information and is going to sell it or what not. 10 out if 10, would not stay here. First reservation $120, second reservation $150, total for a 2 night stay here $270. If I was going to spend $135 a night somewhere much nicer. Going to try and stay away from Motel 6 in the future as well

I just got here and can already tell this is going to be a 5 star review - everything you could want from a budget hotel! I’ll update with pictures and more info soon. The best Motel 6 in the Dayton area!

We could not find a pet friendly room anywhere on a Saturday night on our road trip. No frills hotel but clean and safe. Front desk clerk was very nice and extremely helpful!

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms at affordable rates. Great service I really couldn’t ask for more! Always accommodating and goes above beyond. Pet friendly which for me is always a plus! Highly recommend!!

Roaches! I always stay at Motel 6. I have consistently had very good experiences. I am almost always just passing through and just want a clean bed and warm shower. In this case, we were spending the night and I was doing a little work on this trip, so needed a good internet connection. The internet was fine. The service was great. However, once I saw the roaches, I had a difficult time falling asleep. They were young roaches. Having worked in fast food in warm CA, I am familiar with the ongoing battle and understand that doing a treatment here and there isn't good enough. Well, this particular motel is losing the fight. I am usually pretty tolerant of old, worn out buildings, but not so much with roaches. I will avoid this place in the future. I did mention them when I checked out.

Quiet room. Nicely decorated and updated. Only issue was the shower that kept going super hot about every 30 seconds. Also the towels are way too small!!

" Had a smoking room with king size bed. Room was so clean. I couldn't tell if anyone had ever smoke in there. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Bed linen was clean and fresh also. No holes or cigarette burns.Bathrom was so immaculate. I decided to take a hot bath.. There are lots of places to dine right across the street. Property was clean and quiet. Front desk staff were really nice. I would recommend a stay here here . Check in was very fast

The bathtub had a dirt ring and hair on the bottom of tub along with no plug if I had wanted to soak in a hot bath. We had the WORST bed I have EVER experienced. It sloped into the middle and every time my husband or I moved it creaked and squeaked...SO VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. When I went into the office to see about changing rooms, no one was at front desk and after waiting 4 minutes (yes, I timed) I went back to my room. If it hadn't been 11:30pm, we would have left and disputed charge.

My rating for this hotel is ten out of ten. During my work trip a few weeks ago, I stayed there. The people at the front desk were friendly and cheerful, especially Jack. Excellent room cleaning, room service every day, free coffee, free wifi, and amazing location. This less expensive motel offers a much more impactful experience compared to the more expensive ones. My most enjoyable motel 6 experience ever with me.

We booked two rooms. Both of them were clean. This appears to be an older building but renovations were well done. Motel is close to restaurants and gas station. The staff was professional and friendly. This motel is better than some other two star hotels we visited recently. Affordable. Quiet. Safe- they have cameras installed around the building. I would definitely recommend it.
