I have tried many Thai restaurants in the Denver metro area over the years and I am so thankful to finally have found the best spot to get some amazing authentic Thai food. I've been going to Aung's for a year now and finally getting around to writing a well deserved review with some great pics. The service is always quick, welcoming and friendly. The food by far has always hit the right spot and been delicious!!! Hands down the best Thai in Denver. I've tried at least 10 different menu items and have been pleased with every one of them. The Pad Thai is my favorite with Pad Prik King being a close second. Don't pass this place up and go support a family owned authentic place to eat. Hope you enjoy their food as much as I do. 😍

Go. Here. The Mussamun curry was exceedingly wonderful. Both the portion and the flavor were pleasing; I had leftovers of tender pork, crunchy peanuts, and delicate potatoes and onions. The spice level was accurate to what I ordered. Our waters never ran too low, and the appetizer came out at a good interval before the main course. All in all—excellent service by an overworked dining room staff (just one person)! The fried tofu was also a great dish. I wish they would use a slightly softer tofu, but the sauce was really good.

Aung's Bangkok Cafe is a superb Thai Food Restaurant. We ordered the Panang Curry and Woon Sen Pad Thai (Pad Thai made with glass noodles). The Panang was good, but the Woon Sen Pad Thai was exceptional. The Woon Sen Pad Thai had incredible flavor and the noodle choice transformed this dish. The staff were very attentive and friendly, this was an incredible Thai dining experience.

First time to try Aung’s and had a good experience. It seems that this place leans a bit more pan-asian American food with items like crab cheese wontons on the menu, which are pretty damn good if I’m being honest. Another notable feature is the “medium plus” level of spiciness, great option and respectable spicy without melting down. Service was friendly even when understaffed. Would go again!

Great food, staff was helpful and they make their chili seasoning in house! Prices are pretty high for Thai food, but this spot is one of the better options in the area. Their egg rolls are very delicious! The pumpkin curry was great and I'm not even a fan of pumpkin.

We ordered Tom yum soup and drunken noodles (both vegan), the food was just ok. Have had Better Thai food in Denver. Restaurant was clean and order was taken quickly and food service was also quick. The price was also a bit on higher side. Very limited parking.

I’m Burmese but this Thai restaurant got my attention with it name. Authentic Thai foods, love the Tom Kha soup and rarely see Pad Wong Sin in most Thai restaurants. That was super delicious

A fantastic place! My partner’s favorite in town. They honor the spice level you request, and they are delightfully efficient. Great portions, flavors, and noise level (ie not glaringly loud! Wonderful). We really enjoy eating here. The fried tofu is a consistent order for us. Highly recommend.

Avoid Appetizers and stick with Main courses! Good: Green curry with chicken was awesome. Drunken noodles also solid flavor! I wish it had more veggies but still great. bad: the pork egg rolls aren’t good they taste like they have spam or a weanie fried. The crab rangoons just tasted like fried cream cheese.

Crab rangoons are amazing. The Tom kha soup is the best I’ve ever had. The pineapple fried rice hits the spot!

We mostly enjoyed our food at Aung’s. The Thai egg rolls were very heavy and breaded, not really what we were expecting. The pad see ew was good, but not spectacular. The service was very good and food was quick to come out. A decent place to eat a quick lunch if you’re craving Thai.

Great Thai restaurant for lunch and dinner with a variety of options. Their fried rice is amazing.

Fantastic food for a great price. We got drunken noodles and panang curry and each dish was enough for 3 meals (so 6 meals total for like $37). Spice levels are true to the menu - hot is definitely hot but so delicious. Will definitely be returning. Better value + flavor than other Thai places in the city.

Hands down the best Thai food at a super competitive price in Denver. Everything you're looking for when you're craving Thai food. Great service. Laid back family owned atmosphere.

Fantastic vibe and really good food. It's a husband and wife team but they run a really tight operation. Food was out very quickly. Portion sizes are incredibly fair given the price. The spice level is pretty well-denoted as well (no hotness inflation here). I would go during lunch rather than for dinner. The entre prices are 3 dollars cheaper.

So delicious and the staff were so nice. Added the vegetables to the meat dishes and it was the perfect amount of food. Great vibe

Every dish we tried was amazing, the yurt we dinned in was super cozy and private, and the service was superb - thanks Taryn B and team!

Got the Drunken Noodles with pork. Tasted great, and the medium spice I thought was a bit on the hotter side, but was perfect for me. Not the best I’ve ever had. Went for lunch on a Friday and they were super busy and had to wait for the check for a bit. Was only $15 with tip.

I have done take out here dozens of times and recently ate inside for the first time. The food never disappoints--delicious, fresh, and large portions. Service inside the restaurant was friendly and quick. One of my favorite places to eat in the Denver Metro area.

Was there for the first time. Went for a quick lunch as "Pearl of Siam" is still not offering dine in and this place was highly rated. Being a vegetarian, ordered vegan options and the server was very accommodating. Had Tom yum soup and drunken noodles. Both dishes tasted ok but I have had better Thai food at other restaurants in Denver. The location had very limited parking and even during a work week, finding parking was difficult. Not sure how it's managed at weekend and during dinner hours. Also, the prices were on higher side for lunch menu but that could be due to the excuse of COVID and the inflation being high.
