All you can say is excellent food, excellent service and excellent atmosphere! Once you get past the spooky hallway in the front (you have to go to know) it opens up to a great big restaurant which a great staff who explained everything for us as it was our first time there. The food came quite quickly and was delicious, there was plenty and we definitely had to take home leftovers. I would highly recommend this place! Update: After coming here a few times I would have to say that this place is average for food and subpar for BBQ. The first time I went it was fairly good and as I described. I don't know what they have done since then but every time I have been back the BBQ is dry, the other foods are either greasy or bland and I just can't recommend this place anymore. They have really gone downhill.

I agree with most of the reviews. I agree with the comments on the spooky hallway and now know how cattle feel. Today the ribs are tough. The loaded spud delicious. Waitress brings mini 1/2oz cups of sauce to the table. Cloth napkins. This is an experience destination for travelers. Not sure the locals would or could eat here often. Lots of signs telling you to tip the waitress. But you pay when you order. I expect the waitress gets stiffed more often than not unless you have the cash on you when you leave the table. Restrooms are very clean. Paper towels dispenser gives 3.5” of paper. Costs are really watched here. 4 stars is generous.

This was my first time trying some Midwest BBQ and this place more than delivered. I had the burnt ends with jalapeño corn and beans. The meat was perfect and tender. The staff and waitresses were very friendly with a down home country John Deere theme inside the restaurant. If you want to feel like you’re having dinner at home (with strangers) this is your place. HIGHLY recommend Swadley’s.

Down home country style environment that is well paired with the food and staff. Oklahoma sampler is perfect and was almost to much for two people to split. Strawberry/lemon sheet cake is a perfect way for your taste buds to end the meal experience

Quick review. Hours, great. Ambiance, great. Food, great. Staff, great. I ordered the sampler, it was great. Personal attention from Taelyn, great. I had a lot going on and she allowed me to enjoy a meal that the world tried to keep me from enjoying. Probably one of the most unique situations imaginable. She stuck in there and really shined. Thank you. Really made the dining experience feel personal. Next time i pass through, I’d stop again.

Some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time, not just in Oklahoma, but anywhere. Actually, this is the first time that I had some BBQ in Oklahoma and I have to admit that you Oklahoma boys know how to do BBQ, LoL. I also had the spicy beans and they ain't lyin', they live up to their name but not flaming hot. Staff were really nice also, they keep your drink full without having to be asked and they will give you some ice cream when you're done if you want it. I was so full, I couldn't eat anything else though. The ribs are good size, with plenty of meat on them. You won't leave hungry that's for sure.

Delicious food! I had a burnt end sandwich. I could have gone for smaller pieces of burnt ends but it was fine. The toasted bun was perfect. My husband had a chicken fry and he said it was great too. His side of mashed potatoes was small next to the side of okra they gave him. Service was good. We sat back in one of the rooms and were alone so the servers didn't immediately know where we were. Our fault not theirs at all. Even so once they located us, we did not lack for service.

I got the sampler plate and tried every meat that they had to offer and none of it was really notable except for the brisket. The ribs were not great at all and were very dry but the barbecue sauce was really good as well as their sides. The service was good too, they just need to work on their meats.

Let's start with the service. A1 service for sure. The food was hit and miss. The meats were done right, better than correct, they were done right. The chicken fried steak was tender enough to be cut by a fork wielded by an 85 year old. The fried okra was overdone and the ice cream might be sugar free. The salad bar had enough offerings to make a fancy and tasty salad.

I got the Oklahoma Sampler. It came with brisket, pulled pork, chicken, sausage, and a rib. She asked if I wanted moist or lean on the brisket, so I figured that was a good sign. I chose moist (more fat). I ordered 2 extra ribs with it for $2.99 a piece, and I'm glad I did (I'll tell you why in a sec). The 2 sides I chose were Mac n cheese and baked beans. The portion size was moderately generous. The Mac n cheese was very tasty, the beans a little too sweet to my liking. The problem is my sides were piping hot, but the everything but the ribs were cool to the touch and dry as a bone. The brisket was definitely not from the moist end with zero fat and no smoke ring to boot. Pork and chicken were both dry. The sausage was OK. If it was all fresh and hot, it would have been 100 times better. The flavor was there, the delivery was not. Remember the ribs? Those were pretty awesome. Hot and juicy with a good bark and a good pull to them. They didn't just fall off the bone. They were done right, and I enjoyed them thoroughly. The restaurant has a nice vibe about it, and my waitress was super on point. All in all, I may give it another chance, but it's only because the ribs and service were great. I can say, without a doubt, that my dog enjoyed the to go box tremendously. Out the door cost was $31 + tip

I tried the Oklahoma sampler, and it was worth every penny. All the meats were tender, juicy, and flavorful. The spicy beans were delicious and the mac and cheese was so creamy! 🔥

Awesome BBQ joint in Enid Oklahoma. The rolls are amazing, and the brisket and hot links were perfect! I also enjoyed the service, wait staff was very friendly. Will be back next time I'm in Enid!

My visit was drive-through because I'd been working all day and didn't want to get out of the car. I ordered a 2 meat and two sides and ordered an extra side because I wanted some of the onion straws. The wait time wasn't bad at all. The waitstaff was great! Friendly. And of course the was very good! Thanks Swadleys!

Great barbecue. Had the RIB basket. Ribs had a sweet flavor. Thought prices were a little high till they brought the plates out. You get alot of food and free ice cream at the end. 2nd visit had the chicken quarters lunch special. DELICIOUS! heard they are looking to open a branch in Tulsa/Owasso area

From San Antonio, TX here on business at AFB. Here at lunch time. Order the two meat w/2 sidea and opt got an extra side. Brisket/chicken was good, Love Fried Okra and must say it was, over cooked to much/fry greasy. As for potato, was ok, taste like its been sitting on a side too long. The Sweet beans was OMGness VERY good. thee best i have ever had and I travel alot. Unsweet tea was good and waitress was awesome attentive, baby blue eyes and from SA as well. Area was clean, good vibes as well. They have several bbq sauce (fav: spicey/mild one-small kick). I would only return to see the waitress. Everyone has there own taste in BBQ, but for me they killed it at okra/potato).

I recently came through town on business, and I just wanted to say that I had the best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant I’ve ever been to! My server, Hattie, was incredibly kind and attentive to everything our table needed, and had a wonderful attitude. She was always making herself available whenever we needed her and consistently took initiative to make sure we were satisfied throughout our meal. She is probably the most diligent and hardworking server I’ve ever had. When I come to Enid again, I’ll be sure to make a trip to Swadley’s and ask for Hattie!
