4/5 Charlotte Beauvoisin (Diary of a M. 2 years ago on Google
This
week
I
spent
one
night
at
Kisubi
Forest
Cottages,
in
a
quiet
back
road
that's
two
minutes
from
Entebbe
Road.
There
are
six
rooms
and
one
family
cottage.
Each
room
is
very
spacious.
All
are
ensuite.
My
large
room
had
a
small
kitchen
and
self-contained
bathroom
with
shower.
There
was
plenty
of
hot
water.
Other
rooms
have
a
larger
bathroom
with
bath
and
shower,
rather
than
having
a
kitchen
area.
Each
room
has
a
TV.
There
is
a
small
well-kept
garden
which
had
been
booked
for
a
party.
The
dining
area
has
an
open
fireplace.
I
arrived
mid
afternoon
and
had
whole
fried
tilapia
with
chips.
It
was
excellent.
Service
was
good
throughout
my
stay.
The
cottages
are
ideal
for
families
or
groups
of
friends
who
want
to
hire
the
whole
place
for
a
weekend,
to
celebrate
a
small
function,
for
example.
The
local
rate
for
a
double
room
is
200k
ugx
per
night
and
includes
a
generous
breakfast
of
fruit,
toast
/
bread,
tea
/
coffee,
pancakes
or
eggs.
It's
also
a
convenient
location
for
visitors
who
want
to
go
bird
watching
in
Zika
Forest.
The
cottages
are
under
new
management
and
I
look
forward
to
revisiting
very
soon.
