Hit or miss with food and service. When it's good, it's real good. When it's not good, well, at least your dogs will like the over/under cooked steak. I've had more positive encounters here than negative and the menu selection is great, so worth a try if you are in the area.

It’s a hit or miss. One visit I get good service and fresh food, the next I don’t. I know every time we wait entirely too long for our orders to arrive. I witnessed chefs/kitchen staff hanging at the back of the store smoking and seriously taking it slow and easy, just hanging and talking to each other, for 20 minutes on a busy Friday night! It was insane. When the cooks/staff walked back into the restaurant and into the kitchen, they were walking at a snail’s pace. That night we waited 40 minutes for our food. Also their aprons were filthy and their beards/hair were not groomed. I would love this restaurant but it’s a gamble and the food is too expensive to gamble on a cold steak. I wish they had better management that supervised and made employees hustle instead of watching them talk to each other while customers need refills on their drinks and hot food.

We had a party of 15 for work this past Saturday evening. We waited an hour and 10 mins to be seated. By the time we were seated, everyone was sweating and miserable from no working AC. It was July and miserable. We were all using our menus to try to cool off. The service was slow, and it took forever to receive drinks, let alone our food. When ordering, it seemed like every other item someone wanted was out of stock. By the time I left, I was drenched from sweat and my head was fully hurting. I took most of my food and dessert home. This made our work party pretty miserable overall. If this had not been a work event, I would have left a lot sooner and chose a different restaurant to eat. I feel really sorry for your staff having to work in that environment all day.

We are regulars at Santa Fe anytime we are in Enterprise. We love the food and staff. But this most recent trip today was miserable. It’s over 90 degrees outside and there was absolutely zero air flow in the restaurant. I was sweating the entire time I was in there. Even the large fan was not working. As a customer it was almost unbearable, so I cannot imagine how it is all day working for the staff. It cannot be safe and is borderline cruel to make them deal with this for a whole shift. I worked in the restaurant industry for several years, and I know how hot the kitchens can be. They need to be able to get cool and stay cool. The customers need to be comfortable to be able to truly enjoy their meal. Whoever is responsible for this restaurant needs to do better and get the air fixed before it gets any hotter outside.

Been here twice, disappointing both times. Just had an unsatisfactory lunch. Appetizers came out undercooked: the southwestern egg rolls were still cold in the middle, and the fried pickles were still doughy. After taking them back to recook, half the egg rolls were still cold. Conversely, the kids chicken nuggets were over cooked. My burger had rather chewy bacon, and my wife’s salad had a whole lot of brown. No manager came to check on our meal or to apologize, and we were still charged for the apps we didn’t eat. I strongly recommend that everyone should work a service industry job, both so they know not be jerks to service staff, but also so they know what right is, and what wrong looks like. The fact that the staff didn’t see my wife’s plate full of brown lettuce she picked out of her salad, my burger with only two bites in it, or the barely touched appetizers shows the complete failure on the restaurants part to recognize that we didn’t have an enjoyable experience. Had we any interaction with management or an apologetic server, we would have tipped more, and we would be willing to give Santa Fe Cattle Co another shot.

I must admit I haven't been here for almost a year and let me just say how delicious our food looked and tasted. It took a while but that was ok. It was worth the wait. The server was super nice and friendly and so helpful. Oh I must recommend this drink the Blue Lagoon it was so good. 🙂🙃 The pic below is a Southwest Shrimp Po'boy omg so freaking good. Shrimp was a perfect size. Yumm!!

What a sh*t show this place is. We ordered steaks. There was not any silverware to be had! They gave us to go plastic utensils! The food took over 40 minutes to prepare. The table felt greasy and filthy. To make matters worse, the AC was not working well or turned off. We will not be going back. I will gladly spend my 100 bux elsewhere.

Food was good and fresh. Waitress did bring my salad with the wrong dressing, but even that was okay. Took a while to get our drinks (beer on tap)we ordered, although bar didn’t look too busy. What basically made the experience not so pleasant was the fact that the womens bathroom was “Out of order” sign and all. Having a beer and water with dinner and no where to “utilize” the facilities after eating/drinking😳 As much business as This restaurant receives, with there almost always being a wait time to be seated, you would think they would work on the bathrooms/plumbing? This is NOT the first time that I have been here when there is either a wet floor sign in the womens bathroom door with a fan blowing onto the floor, OR the restroom is a complete disaster. Leaking faucets, poor lighting, old running toilets, toilet paper literally just sitting on the back of commode. It is however a first for the “Out of order” sign. Come on Santa Fe. The revenue you get from just our city should be enough to update, or even make the restrooms presentable and more importantly able to be utilized. Updated as of September 2023: Gave them another try🥴 Ordered a simple burger with fries WITH NO FRIED ONIONS and of course they loaded it down. We waited so long for the food, I decided to just pick them off. Bathrooms were in working order, but cleanliness not so much. Our server was sweet and very accommodating, even though the food was not that great. I’m trying to be optimistic in hopes that maybe next time I go, IF I go, food will be better.

Best onions rings ever, and the sauce was exceptional. Burgers were perfect. It was a great experience. Thank you very much.

Onion rings not done inside; coating too heavy and spicy. Served with a spicy sauce also, which together is too much. Do not get the catfish. It is not fillets but those frozen cheap nuggets one can get in the grocery store and they don't taste fresh. Ask for your salad dressing on the side because if not, your salad is drowned. Some foods need improvement. One important thing...we were sitting near the back order pickup area, which is also an entrance area to the kitchen. During our meal, which was lunchtime, FIVE kitchen employees went outside to smoke in an area to the side of the back door. One guy came back to go in and stood at the door right outside, sucking on his cigarette as much as he could before coming in. That smoke comes in the restaurant. And we saw they went right back into the kitchen and question to whether they all washed their hands before handling food again. It all made me lose what little appetite I had after trying to eat the awful catfish. Did not want to substitute anything after seeing all of that. One girl was vaping all the way to the back door. We decided we will not be back to this place.

Very very poor service. It took us 15 minutes to be seated with empty tables. Once seated everyone around us being served and we have as of yet not even seen our waiter/waitress. Could not even get drinks ordered. After 20 minutes of still not being waited on and a waiter walking by and going and sitting down we leave. I do not recommend this place at all.

3rd Visit: AMAZING! Thank you Wendy and staff for a great visit! Adding pics. 😍 2nd Visit: We came back again and had the best experience thanks to Wendy. First off, we didn’t know they offered rolls at the beginning of the meal as we were not offered that our first visit. I was also shocked to have received marinara with the cheese sticks because last time, we got salsa? Super weird. But I now know what to expect from this place. Wendy was a true gem and never left us hanging! We will only come back if she’s working. Matter of fact, we are headed there now! :) 1st Visit: My fiancé, soon to be father-in- law, and I really enjoyed our experience despite a few things. The sweet tea, cheese sticks, + all meals were wonderful EXCEPT for one item - The Philly Cheese Steak. The steak had good flavor, but it arrived cold on a warm, thick bun. There were mushrooms too but very little cheese. It was overall cold and dry, so I did end up sending it back. The next one came out with warm steak but no mushrooms and again had very little cheese (more cheese would be nice). I also want to mention that it did take quite a while to receive our cheese-stick appetizer. We received it AFTER all of our meals came out. We did have to remind the staff of a couple of missing items (side salad, green beans) and had to ask for refills quite a few times, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. :) It was a little toasty in the building too but not unbearable. Overall, my family and I like this place a lot and will be back soon!

Service was great! Food was wonderful! We will for sure come back when in the area. Charro beans & fish tacos were exactly what I needed while traveling

The food and service was wonderful. However the owner needs to address some easily fixed issues. I was sitting on the right side of the restaurant in a booth with my family. The conversation amongst the tables was how hot it was in there. Everyone was completely drenched with sweat. When the food came out we immediately asked for to go plates, and went and ate in the truck. People were going outside for relief (in July!) and it’s a shame because the food and service was great!

Our server was great! Very nice & attentive. We ordered sirloin steaks, cooked medium rare, the 6oz one was so black & dry that it had no hot pink center & no juice at all. The 18oz one was supposed to be rare & it wasn’t, came out same as the smaller one. What a waste of money. Not sure if we will give this place another chance as this was the third time we tried it. Keep the servers, find a new cook though. Oh it wasn’t busy at all when we went at 4pm on a Friday either.

I'll never eat here again! Me, my mom and my son all got steak. All 3 steaks was not seasoned with anything. Apparently the person cooking is an idiot to not season steak. Had to put steak sauce on them just to make them have a taste. My mom and son got the mashed potatoes and gravy and they looked disgusting. The gravy was dried on top and looked like the bowls was premade and had been sitting out. I ordered a 16 ounce ribeye but a 1/4 had a chunk of fat at 1 end of it. The person cutting the steak should be a shame of there self to leave that on there and let that add as part of the 16 ounces when you can't eat it for the price I paid for the steak $27.99 if I remember correctly!

Server was slow, got the order wrong. Food was cold. No clean glasses. Got my coke half hour after arriving. Hard to get refills or any service. It was once a really good place to eat, was badly disappointed in it Saturday night. It was my grandsons birthday. I don't think I will go back anytime soon unless it changes tremendously. It's a shame that is the only place to get a steak in Enterprise.

I had steak tips, which were awesome. My mother had the fall off the bone ribs and there are no complaints here. Try the Santa fe potatoes and thank me later

Ya ll have the worst cooks and staff of any restaurant in enterprise, steaks are hit or Miss, most time you order medium, you get shoe leather. Tonite I order medium and it flips on the plate.

The chips for the cheese dip were very hard and stale. I could see where they are stored from our seat and understand why now. We Ordered steak med rare and it came super rare. My steak was perfect medium well and so was our sides and salad too. Husband ate his steak anyway because we aren’t ones to make a fuss. Service was amazing! She was very tentative and sweet.

Got the Big "A" salad, and it was ginormous! The ranch is made in-house and was delicious! Kinley was our server, and she was such a pleasure! Kinley was sweet, attentive, and hooked me up with my croutons,

Great food and service. Examples from my visit. Medium rare fajitas as requested. The burgers were juicy, delicious, and everything tasted fresh. Ps. Death Burger is mainstream spicy. Just a little kick for those who mess around with spicy food alot.

We went in after the Christmas parade in Enterprise… the staff was a little caught of guard with the amount of people coming in but did not let it affect our experience at all. Our hostess was transparent and set the expectations… “it’s going to be a bit of a wait, our kitchen is a little behind but we’re working through it.” She continued to touch base with us while we waited. Our wait was about 30 minutes but it didn’t feel like it at all because she kept communicating with us. She never complained, and never, not once, looked like she didn’t want to be there. She enjoys her job, and it shows. And then our server, wow! Christa was kind, funny, EXTREMELY attentive, and transparent through the entire stay. Yes, the kitchen was getting their butts kicked, and Christa was honest about it. She never down talked her co-workers. She gave them high praise, while just explaining the situation. She chatted with us, all while keeping the rolls and drink refills coming. Honestly, I don’t even know how long we waited because it didn’t feel like it was taking a long time. Long waits happen sometimes… but amazing service like we had tonight, that doesn’t come along much any more. I don’t live in town, but will make an effort to visit more often, just to go to Santa Fe. Everyone single staff member there tonight made this experience great. The atmosphere was very very positive. OH AND THE FOOD WAS JUST PERFECT.

Our waitress, Christa(i think that's how u spell it) was super friendly and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the menu items and made sure our was correct. She also apologized because the order did take a long time but as far as the service, it was great! She rocks and the food and mixed drinks were great also.

Moriah was our waitress and did a great job. The ribs were smoky and tender. The 6 oz filet was perfectly medium. We started the meal with the loaded Queso Blanco appetizer and it's addictive. The Chipotle ranch salad dressing is my favorite at Sante Fe.

Service was fair for the business. I was however disappointed with the quality of food. They were out of an item and didn’t even inform the server. Instead the server brought me my meal and was questioned by me about said item. After he went to cooks and asked he was informed after the fact that they were out. Over all good experience minus the food.

Ordered a 16 oz steak with a sweet potato and coleslaw and it was great served fairly quick. This establishment several years ago had gone down the drain As if they were wanting us to take our business elsewhere. So i did as well as several families that I knew for years; until just the other day back to reality. Hopefully they'll keep up the good work.
