just
opened
up
a
few
months
from
the
Kuwaiti
born
restaurant
in
Place
Vendome.
There
was
a
lot
of
hype
and
long
waiting
lines
when
it
first
opened
up
this
summer,
so
I
decided
to
wait
a
few
months,
and
I
was
very
satisfied.
The
interior
is
incredible
with
the
deep
pink
ceilings
and
walls
and
warm
colors
and
plants
all
around,
it
was
really
inviting.
We
shared
a
bunch
of
starters
to
get
a
taste
of
their
best
sellers.
My
favorite
dish
was
the
Black
Pepper
Tenderloin
Lollipops,
the
meat
was
super
tender
and
charred
perfectly,
it
was
also
served
with
some
cubed
potatoes,
with
a
side
of
an
amazing
chimichurri
sauce.
Also
tried
their
Cola
Short
Ribs,
fork
tender
meat
in
a
sweet
and
smoky
sauce,
really
good.
Then
the
Spicy
Maple
Shrimps,
wow!
Crunchy
shells
almost
caramelized
from
the
sweet
sauce,
and
the
touch
of
lemon
was
perfection,
but
wasn’t
really
spicy
at
all.
We
also
got
the
Shrimp
Bao
Tacos,
it
was
fine,
didn’t
really
like
it
too
much,
and
the
bread
wasn’t
thin
like
a
tortilla
nor
thick
and
fluffy
like
a
bao,
it
was
somewhere
in
the
middle
and
didn’t
impress
me.
For
the
main
course
we
decided
to
get
the
Crispy
Peri
Peri
Chicken,
which
was
a
whole
baby
chicken
perfectly
cooked
with
crispy
skin
and
a
nice
spicy
chili
oil
blend.
The
meat
was
very
juicy
with
the
crispy
skin
and
wasn’t
too
spicy
but
good
enough.
Had
a
side
of
the
Josper
Grilled
Sweet
Potato,
which
had
a
sweet
fig
and
coconut
glaze
along
with
a
jalapeño
aioli.
I
will
definitely
want
to
visit
again
to
try
some
of
their
other
dishes
and
specifically
their
burgers.
