Food is nicely done. The hamachi carpaccio was fresh and flavourful. The shrimp tempura was really enjoyable as well. Beef ramen with the short ribs and the rice with chicken were pleasant surprises. Staff service is attentive. Prices are a little on the high end but food quality makes up for that.

Surprisingly good food! We have been regular customers for sometime now. Apart from the food, it is the great quality of service rendered by Mac Millane that makes it outstanding. Given the right opportunity and tools he will be a great F & B Manager someday.

Brilliant food, amazing service and chill ambience ….sushi was fresh, delicious, and large portions. One of the best value for money sushi’s in Qatar. Highly recommended. The Ramen was also amazing and full of flavour. Gyoza was also excellent. Above all really graceful service ….must try

The food tasted delicious and it smelled and tasted authentic. It reminded us of the scent from Japan. Most importantly our experience was unique and unforgettable because of our server, Mac Millane. Towards the end of our meal, he showed us magic tricks and at the end of each one he shared valuable life lessons.

The sushi was the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The rice was definitely not boiled correctly as it was so mushy. Soon as you would try to hold the sushi it would fall apart. Also the rice to filling ratio was so high that all I could taste was mushy rice and nothing else. We complained about the rice and quality of the sushi but the waitress replied that the rice is fresh and left us to it. Cost us 200 QAR (approx £50) for this rubbish. Just to try to salvage some form of taste we ended up just eating the fillings since the rice would fall off and was disgusting anyways. This solution wasn’t much help as the fillings weren’t all that either. I will never go back.

Nori Tacos are the most innovative and best tasting taco ive tasted in a while. The staff Mac Millane treated us not like customers but as guests which is another 5* for me giving us the best experience we could have.

Macmillane was our server he helped us to select the best sushi and noodles for my kids, and they loved it. It was an awesome experience as my family enjoyed the New Year dinner at SOY TOKYO
