The Pine Grove is located in Ephraim and has the perfect small beach to dip feet in or go swimming! We love the family owned vibe and old school hospitality which is getting harder to find! Chocolate chip cookies and wine hour are hard to pass up! Rooms are clean and the partial water views are amazing. Breakfast is also well stocked with options! The best part are the amazing sunsets!

Beautiful setting and views of the bay. We spent every night on the private beach which has chairs, loungers, gas fire places, a stone beach, and a sand beach. Beautiful sunset views. Breakfast was much more extensive than expected and tasty. The most wonderful inside pool and hot tub as well. The pool was very warm and a perfect way to end the day. The afternoon free wine and cheese was also appreciated as was the free microwave popcorn! Nice location as well, able to walk to pretty much everywhere in town.

For $263 a night, my kid should not be chastised for taking 2 chocolate chip cookies from the front desk. "Only one pet customer!" For $263 a night, they should be bringing trays of cookies to our room every night on golden trays balanced on the back of a camel draped in silks. And bells. Lots of bells. Lots of bells, camels, and cookies.

Location was great with a private beach. They have a wine, cheese and cracker welcome everyday after check in. (we came too late to enjoy). Room was a woods view and it was not bad at all. The only issue was the bed was very uncomfortable. Woke up many times stiff and sore. Had to get out of bed to just stretch as I was stiff as heck! Definitely did not wake up well rested. That’s where the lost star came from. Pool and hot tub were nice.

The lady who runs this place is just an exceptional woman. With the constant flow of new people, kids, and all the stresses that come with a normal hotel setting, not to mention one in Door County, it's not unusual for your service workers to let you know that they aren't thrilled to help you, you are not any different than everyone else and they sometimes seem irritated that you are happy to be there!!! Not here....This lady, I wish I got her name, was lovely, kind, helpful, and seemed very genuine about it all. Even saw us getting back just after she locked up for the night and checked to make sure we had our keys to get into the building. Just a sweet lady. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is nobody's fault, so it may be a touch unfair, but the price of the rooms are just way too high...not any higher than all the resorts in Door County, but the lodging situation in all the County is just crazy high. I get it. Like everyone else, I know this going in. I just think it's crazy.

was able to book a nice room on the same day, which was probably just lucky but it made our impulsive trip really fun and easy. check in was great and they had free cookies and wine for guests. the room was spacious and clean. the room also had a great view!

A Door County gem. Clean & quaint like the area. The extras like breakfast and all day coffee, tea, cider & nightly wine is thoughtful.
