One of the natural landmarks of Cyprus that are not so commonly known! This tall rock formation has a resemblance to Meteora in Greece but on a tiny scale obviously. It is about 10-15 minutes from the Limassol-Paphos highway (freeway for fellow Americans). It is easy to access for everyone since it doesn’t require any walking/hiking. An important tip I’d like to note is that it would be wise to avoid going with a wide/big car since there is currently some construction going on in the area, and you’ll need to navigate through some narrow and steep roads to get close to the rock formation. Best option would be a compact 4WD SUV.

Impressive if a little over bearing :-) a challenging walk but the views are stunning and the village Kafenion is lovely to enjoy refreshment before the return journey.

The people saying it's a big rock aren't kidding: it's definitely a big rock. You can also see the remains of the church of Saint Hilarion (11th-12th century). Mostly though it's a very big rock.

A very unique and beautiful place in Cyprus. Many rare birds flying around the area and excellent views from the top of the hill.

Wonderful to watch the birds and a little coffee shop nearby for refreshments
