Unethical,
fraudulent,
unprofessional,
and
illegal
business
conduct.
I
would
also
like
to
add,
after
Grenzhof's
racist
response
(they
deleted/changed
-
find
original
on
Facebook)
to
my
review,
they
are
still
disgustingly
trying
to
blame
me
&
my
fiance
for
their
own
disorganization
and
unprofessionalism
instead
of
apologizing.
Let
me
be
clear
this
is
not
about
"Grenzhof
vs
us
having
different
ideas"
-
they
didn't
honor
their
original
wedding
contract
prices/terms
and
held
our
deposit
hostage
to
force
us
into
signing
a
new
contract.
The
owner
voided
our
contract
without
telling
us,
and
sent
us
a
new
one
with
no
explanation
Warning
to
all
potential
wedding
couples,
or
Brautpaar:
this
place
violated
our
contract
terms,
along
with
very
poor
communication,
and
confusion
among
their
own
staff
for
how
it
happened.
We
are
still
trying
to
get
our
deposit
refund
back,
and
it
has
been
almost
3
weeks
since
Grenzhof
confirmed
in
writing
that
we
would
receive
it.
According
to
our
German
attorney,
Grenzhof
violated
EU
and
German
laws
in
multiple
ways
and
we
are
prepared
to
report
them
to
the
European
Commission
and
German
Consumer
Groups
for
investigation.

-
Wedding
contract
signed
for
them
to
host
our
wedding.
Deposit
of
500
EUR
wired
to
their
account
immediately.
June
5,
2019
-
We
called
Grenzhof
to
set
up
a
meeting
with
the
manager
so
that
we
could
discuss
wedding
logistics.
WE
initiated
the
contact.
June
6,
2019
-
My
fiance
and
I
met
with
owner/manager
to
discuss
the
timeline
for
when
things
should
be
done.
At
this
point
she
made
NO
mention
of
any
price
changes
or
contract
changes,
but
we
noticed
she
circled
a
few
things
on
paper.
June
8,
2019
-
Received
new
contract
in
the
mail.
They
INCREASED
prices
without
notification,
REMOVED
agreed
services
in
the
contract.
We
called
asking
for
explanation,
front
desk
said
she
was
only
told
to
send
new
contract
by
owner
and
did
not
know
what
was
actually
happening.
She
said
owner
claimed
that
our
meeting
was
to
discuss
contract
changes,
which
was
simply
not
true.
June
12,
2019
-
Spoke
with
different
front
desk.
She
said,
"This
is
all
new
to
her,
said
she
would
contact
[owner]
to
figure
it
out".
Could
not
explain
to
us
what
happened.
June
17,
2019
-
Front
desk
forwards
us
some
notes
they
took
in
September
2018
contract
details,
stating
they
made
pricing
mistakes
in
our
contract
and
didn't
notice
until
now,
so
they
sent
us
a
new
one.
Grenzhof
made
the
mistake
in
a
signed
contract,
not
us.
It
was
a
one-sided
decision
to
void
the
contract.
No
apologies,
or
explanation
for
why
agreed
services
were
removed.
This
is
a
LEGAL,
BINDING
contract
and
we
should
have
been
given
the
option
to
cancel.
Again,
we
asked
if
we
can
speak
to
owner
to
at
least
renegotiate
on
friendly
terms
regarding
the
services
and
we
were
ok
with
the
updated
pricing
June
25,
2019
-
Still
no
word
from
owner.
She
has
since
refused
to
speak
to
us
in
person
and
uses
her
staff
to
communicate
with
us.
Finally
we
call
to
cancel
and
asked
for
our
deposit
back.
Which
they
agreed
to
in
writing
confirmation.
July
1,
2019
-
Still
no
refund.
Called
again,
which
they
said
their
accountant
only
processes
refunds
twice
a
month
but
would
happen
"soon".
July
11th,
2019
-
Still
no
refund.
We
send
an
email
to
ask
for
an
update,
which
they
ignore
and
do
not
reply
to.
July
12th,
2019
-
Finally
we
call
again,
impatiently
now,
as
this
money
is
in
our
opinion
considered
fraudulently
withheld
and
they
are
keeping
it
illegally.
Front
desk
again
tells
us
she
does
not
know
why,
has
no
explanation
and
no
update.
Very
unfortunate
as
the
location
is
beautiful
and
we
were
so
excited
initially
to
have
our
wedding
there.
They
have
wasted
a
lot
of
our
time
and
we
still
have
no
results
from
them.
