The worst doctors surgery EVER. The receptionists are so rude and obnoxious almost like you owe them something. I’ve been a patient here for ten years and don’t go to the doctor unless it’s considered serious. So when I need to see a doctor in person and get offered a telephone appointment and is booked for a specific time (text confirmation) apparently you don’t have an appointment and they can call you anytime according to reception. Then why give me a specific time? This process makes no sense?! They have also misdiagnosed my young daughter and given antibiotics where in the end we took her privately and for a follow up and she didn’t need them. We appreciate we have a NHS but at this point it is seriously failing us especially this particular surgery.

Spoke to a GP on 22/8 who agreed to refer me for an ultrasound for my gall bladder. Overnight I had pain so called 111. No call back from them so went to a&e today to be told they are sending patients to doctors in Walthamstow which doesn’t work for me as I live in loughton. Managed to secure an appointment for ultrasound 7pm this evening 23/8 at Nuffield Buckhurst Hill who said they just need a referral from my gp stating I can have an ultrasound there and they can send the results to my doctor as Harlow wait is 10+ weeks for a scan and I can’t wait that long. GP agreed to have it printed for me for collection after 2pm today. Referral handed to Nuffield to then be called to tell me it had nothing about ultrasound on it so they couldn’t do my appointment. Got to loughton health centre as was already nearby and thought easy for me to grab the form and go as I rung ahead and explained and they said they’d speak to dr ally who was talking at that Point outside. When I got there I was in a rush as has to get to Nuffield to be told by dr ally she WILL NOT do me a referral to Nuffield for an ultrasound as I’m leaving the nhs pathway and going private so I’d have to see a private consultant. COMPLETELT UNTRUE. Nuffield agreed no need and that i just need a referral to say ultrasound and everything results etc and report would be sent back to them. I’m now left with no ultrasound appointment. Been left in pain. Wasn’t even offered one face to face appointment by my own GP surgery as they do over phone appointments only. No consideration of care for patients here. Have now reported the practice to the cqc.

Tried to contact via email as I know the phone calls are terrible in this practice. Been told to call at 8am anyway... I call at 8am. I stay in the queue for 45 minutes on the phone, which is super frustrating. I got told that all appointments are taken and I have to call back the day after at 8am. They say that's how it works. Let me say, it works really bad.

Requested by the Dr to attend the surgery for a routine blood pressure check only to find the machine didn’t work having attempted the check 3 times ! Asked Dr’s receptionist re making an appointment following a text I had received saying book appointment to see dr to discuss results following blood tests was told by receptionist no appointments today so asked re the following Monday as I don’t work on a Mondays and on other days would have to take unpaid leave was told can’t book in advance !! What a ridiculous system how can this be fair for older people or people that work ! What happened to flexibility or the approach in helping patients get appointments for results surely a nurse can be seen to save dr”s be bothered !!!! Common sense seems to be totally out the window

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Another brilliant experience with this GP practice! When the GP hung up on you mid conversation when you need help. Thank you VM. Stay away from it.

Dr Ding and the team are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He is great with my kids, very personable and just a good guy that is trying to help and do better for the community and all of the people registered. The ladies behind the desk are really polite and friendly, always try and get you the appointment and do their best in a situation that is not the doctors or teams fault. The surgery is always clean and tidy, easy to park and as much as you dont want to go to these places they make it very comfortable when there.

Dr Ding is an incredible human being and simply an amazing Doctor I cannot recommend this practice enough in terms of what they do for our family. I appreciate it might be hard to get an appointment but the care I have received is exemplary. Our Doctors are true heroes. Thank you
