Nice store but not very charming in my opinion. Also there are just a few books in foreign languages.

Given that Tübingen is such an international city and that this book-store is meant to be the largest, I was disappointed with their limited English options. I would love to hear recommendations of other stores specialised in selling non-German novels.

Workers are very kind and there is a great variety of books! The young adult english section is quite small though.

Despite Amazon, this book store seems to hold up quite well. I have bought books there since I was a high school student and all the way through my university studies. The staff is very competent, friendly and can help you even with special requests or inquiries. Also, they started playing a role early-on in the internet book trade and have a number of innovative delivery options (if you live in the towns where they are present)

Absolutely great bookstore in the middle of the Altestadt! They do have an English section if you are in need of a book to read for pleasure or during your vacation. Staff is very friendly, helpful and will make recommendations based on your preferences. Come in and browse a bit!

The largest bookstore in Tübingen comprising a whole building and 3 floors. They have a wide variety of topics, but are more centred in selling and making profit , rather than making book recommendations, thus tending to have only popular novels and workers with little experience.
