After seeing all nice reviews, it was disappointing for us to dine there. Restaurant is very nice decorated and atmosphere is great. The restaurant has two parts, one is fine dining and the other is causal eating. We came for causal eating. The fish we ordered, 24€, was tasteless. The rice was cooked poorly. Too much water and also it seemed like microwaved. Burger was fine. The beer was 4,9€/0,5L. Overall the food was very average. The service was not good as well. They don’t have enough staffs for a busy Friday night. It took around 15-20min for our bill. Cool place to hang out but not for food.

I've been coming to this place since it opened. I've done both the Fine Dining and Easy experiences and it *was* always excellent. Naturally, it was an easy suggestion to take my "foody" guests to. However, this restaurant fell well below our -and their expectation- considering the price range. The personnel was young, inexperienced and inattentive. They got our order wrong and most of our plates were bland. Also, our starters and main dishes took as long as our final bill did-- an eternity. Unacceptable, for the standards that I've *been* accustomed to. Definitely a few notches down in quality from where this place used to be.

Average food for ridiculous prices. The interior is nice, the food is underwhelming. There is nothing exciting about the menu and I am not sure how the owner thinks this food is Asian fusion. Been to lots of Asian fusion restaurants, confused how this should be one. Would not recommend and won’t go again. Better spend that money in a proper restaurant and eat fine food for the same pricing.

Intriguing asia fusion food. On the upper price scale but very delicious and interesting dishes! Service was very polite and forthcoming. Ambiance is modern and very fitting. Offered Blankets and heat lamps for outside. Look forward to visiting again!

Delicious but portions are really small

I was there with my ex colleagues / friends. One of the nice restaurants I've been to in some time now. I definitely would want to come again here, mostly on a date next time. Tried a couple of starters , Fried Skrei Fillet (loved the sauce with rice) and the cheese cake. Recommend the cheese cake 😊

After a rather unsatisfying visit about a month ago, we were invited back by Tawa Yama to have another try. Granted, this new restaurant is still working hard to optimize it‘s offerings, the second visit was actually really nice. The outdoor balcony is wonderful (when it’s warm), the waiting staff were very attentive, and the food has vastly improved. And by that I don‘t mean in terms of quality (it was always good to be fair) but in the price-performance ratio. The first visit we had the Bento Burger and left not completely satisfied, this time round was a completely different story. Just look at this mountain of a burger. We also appreciate that the restaurant took our feedback seriously and also made us feel really welcome. Thank you. PS. If you are familiar with the location, you will also see that the car park has been transformed into a really nice garden adding a nice touch to the quiet area.

This rating is for the Tawa Yama Easy. Great location, great atmosphere. The drinks were really good, some of the best Spritz! The prices are definitely high - we paid about 75 pP. The food didnt quite match the price although it was excellent, especially the fish based dishes such as the sashimi plate. Will try the fine at some point but can recommend for a great evening with nice ambiance

I was there for an office event and have only good things to say! Lots of parking places. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Excellent service, really friendly. Although they didn’t have a menu in english for us. And finally: THE FOOD! The starting dishes were all really tasty and unique: the shrimp 🍤 and the little tofu salad were an EXPLOSION of flavour. For the main course I had the chance to try both of the options that were offered to us and they were 10/10! I loved the sweet-salty combination of my meat and the texture was HEAVENLY! I could go back just for dessert! They were also so good. WHAT A GREAT MEAL. Also nice drinks and Sake! I enjoyed it a lot
