Very interesting museum of a unique culture. Worth the visit.

There is no ticket fee. And is a good place to learn about Assyrian culture and Ainkawa the Christian corner of Erbil.

Lovely museum! Just the right size (neither too big nor too small)…gives a good introduction to Syriac heritage. Open until 8pm…highly recommend.

What a wonderful museum! The diorama of the old village is a huge plus. Really gives you an idea of the triumphs and tragedies of the Chaldean people over the centuries.

Amazing museum. Be sure to check opening times. One thing. There's a disturbing print of some crucified Christian women. I researched it afterwards. It's a Hollywood depiction of the Armenian genocide so it shouldn't be in the museum at all really. That said, let's face it both Assyrians and Armenians did suffer at the hands of the Ottomans.

Nice place with lots of ancient and folklore exhibits. Museum staff very helpful amd cooperative. Needs constant electricity from the regional government for the comfort of visitors and safekeeping of the ancient manuscripts.

It's very cute and for sure worth a visit. It lacks a bit of the general context and English information, but the people there try their best and are super nice!
