Aqua Tarin is not a place for foreign people. For me, as a European girl, was strange that the stuff didn't let me wear my normal swimming suit, but I had to buy special long pants and t-shirt, which was uncomfortable to swim in. Even though there are enough different slopes, there is a huge lack of sliding tubes. Some people had the tube, and they didn't share so I couldn't enjoy the place too much. All in all, not recommended.

It is the biggest water park in Iraq with 9 different kinds of slides for adults, a separate area for children and several different water bodies for swimming and water play. It is big, nice, clean, and a fun place for both adults and children. They have lifeguards and security guards patrolling all the time. The water is continuously being filtered, even by the end of the day the water was crystal clear. They give you free lockers to store your belongings. There is a shop which sells some swimwear and swimming accessories. No edibles from outside are allowed beyond the lockers and changing area. You may only take water with you. They have a small restaurant which sells decent food but is expensive. Generally we had a good good time at the park but found it expensive.

A wonderful place, but you must be careful of people who steal shoes and do not take sunscreen because without sunscreen you will burn 🤣🤣 It is a good place. The entrance ticket is 25 thousand Iraqi dinars

Well its lots of fun. It has resturants and cafe's around the pool. Whats really special about this place its tht it has the biggest water slides in iraq! But the only flaw about it is tht when u walk to the water slides' stairs l, there isnt really a path, its all rocks! So ur gonna hurt ur feet just a little bit! The prices are reasonable, u pay 25000 ID to get in and thts about 20$!

Kurdistan Region is the modern area in Iraq, so you can find all the things you want there. Also it's safe environment for foreigners.

One of the best water parks of iraq, they have amazing games and slides and a river that runs around the whole park, staff are nice and they have a huge parking lot.. most of the things needed are available and they have shops all round, cafes and restaurants, I and my friends mostly enjoyed the slides and swimming in the river, highly recommend for summer.

A Unique Amusement Experience As Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan area of Iraq is growing and attracting significant investments, the need for entertainment, amusement, and quality time for residents and visitors has increased. Even though major Erbil real estate projects, such as the upscale gated residential compounds, usually offer their residents several amusement and recreational facilities, nothing can compare to Aqua Tarin Water Park. An Aquatic Park for All the Family If you are living in Erbil or somewhere nearby, come to spend a fun-packed day out at the park with your family. The park is especially popular with children who want to come back again and again. In the summertime, Aqua Tarin can be compared to a paradise oasis, a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city, and an opportunity for a dive in the clear waters of the park’s numerous pools. The park is also ideal for those who want to spend a few hours in a beautiful environment after work in the afternoon and relax over a large glass of refreshing fruit juice or a cup of coffee. With unbroken views of the surrounding countryside and the city of Erbil in the distance, you can just chill under the shaded areas, splash around in the water, or plummet down a body slide.

I revisited this aqua park after a decade, and to my surprise, it hasn't changed much. There were no significant additions or improvements, and even the entry price remained the same (which is a plus). While I wouldn't call it bad, I did have higher expectations for new features and additions over the years.

Very expensive and the checkpoint at the entry is very out dated and not from this time. You are not even allowed to take a T-shirt with you in. Add to this not enough water floats resulting poeple holds the a available floats to themselves and you will have no chance to try the water games.

I was the first customer this year. About the water, it was very clean obviously because its the first day of opening but i dont think its very clean in the other days. Staff and security were friendly and nice. They have bodyguards guarding you every time. Sliding tubes were not too much, but the slides were very thrilling. The food and drinks there are overpriced! In my opinion, the entry fee is overly expensive. And i do not recommend to go in weekends (friday and saturday), its crazy crowded!! Overall, i give it a 3.5/5. And I’m not sure if i should recommend it. Hope this helps!

The administration of the place is horrible, for every game you have to dive in a deep argument with them.

Much better than expected. Lovely landscapes. Clean facilities/water. Good selection of rides for all ages. Lots of security and life guards. Definitely going there again

This is an example of how bad management can ruin any good place. The security is really annoying as I used a nike swiming pants I wasnt allowed to enter the pool luckly I had regular football shorts which was allowed!! In any step I made there was some security guy telling me that there is something that wasnt allowed and they do that with really reqlly bad body language!! There was few sliding tubes for sure so if you got one you have to hold on to it The lockers were too small and there was no hair dryers in the dressing area
