Very nice hotel in a beautiful park with a big, relaxing pool area. Very good breakfast, nice dinner (we had a vegetarian 4-course-menu) and friendly staff. To be recommended!

Our family of 4 stayed and had a wonderful time. Il San Cristoforo is very much an enclave in a suburban area of Naples and is a real sanctuary, an oasis, to the hustle and bustle of Naples. We only had breakfasts at the hotel as the restaurant was not open over the Christmas period. The breakfasts were very nice and again, very relaxed. The staff were excellent, very friendly and arranged a lot of taxis for us to and from the local train station. The grounds of the hotel are wonderful with fantastic lawns, trees and plants, but this isn’t a hotel you can walk out of to see the surroundings, you really need a car or taxi to get anywhere. Never the less it was a great base for us getting to central Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius and the shuttle taxi to the local station was helpful. Our room in the ‘dependence’ was very comfortable for the 4 of us, very clean and a great shower. We look forward to visiting again!

Unbelievably beautiful estate, transporting you from the middle of the city to a secluded paradise of lush gardens and luxury. But it's the staff that really makes this 4-star hotel a 5-star experience. Pascual organizes a beautiful breakfast spread every morning, and Francesco at the front desk makes sure you have everything needed to have a wonderful experience. If you're looking for fine dining, the hotel's Line Restaurant serves elegantly prepared gourmet dishes in the tranquility of an all glass wall dining room nestled in the thick of the garden.

Since you get in the attitude of the personnel very friendly and attentive. Check in was easy and informative, helped us with our luggage with a golf kart. Breakfast is great, definitely worth every dime you pay here.

Our family of 6 stayed for several days in the hotel. The experience was magnificent in all respects. The hotel is in a suburban area of Naples, within a large landscape private garden, extremely pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing. The hotel manager assisted us well before arriving with all the transport and tours we needed, and all worked out very efficiently. Many thanks to the hotel and its manager, Enzo, which we are pleased to highly recommend.

Such a gorgeous hotel with amazing staff at reception and at the breakfast bar. The rooms are luxurious with modern features. The swimming pool is large and clean. The grounds are gorgeous especially at night time. Seems to be a popular wedding venue too.

Stayed at this hotel for a short break. Rooms clean and modern, beautiful gardens with great views and a lovely swimming pool. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide choice. Pasquale went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble for him. Such a wonderful gentleman, thank you Pasquale for everything. We hope to come back soon.

Great surprise. Beautiful old villa with charming gardens, amazing view and great swimming pool. Breakfast is just awsome. Rooms very cozy and comfortable. A diamond between Naples and Vesuvio.

great staff, amazing hotel. great views of Vesuvius and the whole place felt luxurious. room service was also impeccable. on the flip side, food (with the exception of breakfast) was not the best. lunch menu was limited (10 items?) though not sure about the dinner menu. breakfast though, was spectacular. good options and great pastries. another thing to keep in mind is it’s not close to city centre. whilst there is a shuttle to take you to the nearest train station, it stops at 6pm so you’ll have to either walk 30 minutes or wait for a bus that has no fixed schedule.

We had an absolutely unbelievable stay, and wish to go back again! The staff were very friendly and kind, helping us enormously with sorting out extra excursions to both mount vesuvio, and also a day trip to the island Capri. The breakfasts are again, unbelievable, in a great location on the hotel grounds- they have a little bit of everything you might want- especially the homemade pastries and cakes! They use the same Line restaurant for evening dinner and also for the breakfast set up making us frequent visitors. The room was clean and spacious. We decided to upgrade to a larger room with a view over mount Vesuvio- spectacular. And worth it. Great facilities we were very happy with. The only thing I can say, is that we stayed during 'wedding season' with a party event on their garden/grounds every other night. Luckily for us we adopted the Italian 'stay-up-late' body clock so it was more than fine, we even saw some fireworks! The rooms were also pretty soundproof with a very comfortable bed which helped a lot. The restaurant Line had spectacular food and service- thank you all so much! Best breadsticks haha. And a whole 30 seconds walk from the main building. During our 6 night stay we kept coming back to the restaurant a whole 3 times to sample more of the set menu, a la cart and great wine! The pool was a nice size for guests and provided a nice lazy-day for us lounging by the pool when we weren't busy tourist-ing. All in all, very lucky we chose San Cristoforo for our visit to Napoli and area.

We were traveling through Italy for 9 days. and found this hidden gem of a hotel on the foothills of mount vesuvius. Wanting to visit the ruins the next day The property is in a park like setting tranquil and serene. The staff were super accommodating professional and courteous especially Francesco. Dinner fabulous Breakfast buffet super delicious And a shuttle ride with Guiseppe to boot Highly recommend to anyone needing a respite from the fast pace city hotels

Nice stay at Il San Cristoforo! The hotel was sparkling clean and very modern. In the lobby is a spacious bar/coffee area to sit to drink coffee or just to relax. Pretty gardens to walk around. The staff was super helpful in setting up taxi services, ordering food, and giving us great directions to get around via train. The stay included breakfast which was well stocked with fruits, cereal, pastries, breads cheese, meats, juices, & multiple types of coffee. During our stay in early April, The Line restaurant and pool were closed. We would like to visit again when these were open as both looked beautiful! One thing to note, the taxis in the area are very expensive, costing 50 euros just to get to Napoli Central train station 15 minutes away! And there are not any restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Thus we relied heavily on the hotel’s shuttle service! It ran about 6 times a day, stopping right at the Ercolano Circumvesuviana train station, and a 5-minute walk to the Herculaneum archeological site. Driver was great & shuttle was always right on time, but account for slight traffic during rush hour. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and recommend to anybody interested in visiting Pompeii & Herculaneum sites.

This is like an Oasis in a desert of a dull suburb. Excellent rooms, service, garden. Pool is quite bin and surprisingly deep at around 2.2 meters. Might be a popular place for weddings, at least we witnessed one.

The place looks and is corgeous. New(ish), modern, amazing garden and premises, with some great views to Vesuvio and Naples. Service is near amazing. From that perspective, 5/5. Issues are with final touches - rooms are ultra modern but lack storage, are not cozy. There are many terraces, but again, lack seating, lack coziness. Neighborhood is sub par. Has big potential

Amazing hotel. We stayed here for our honeymoon in September 2020, the staff could not be more welcoming and the hotel and grounds are immaculate. Rooms are fantastic, try to get one looking over Vesuvius for those spectacular morning views. At night the lighting of the grounds make for the most romantic walks and the morning breakfasts next to the like groves are to die for, great feline company!! Slightly annoyed that we missed the Booking.com deadline to post a review of this place (sorry!!) because it really is fabulous. Definitely stay here.

Excellent! That is the word that comes up to mind when I have to look back at my experience at this hotel. This hotel is so beautiful, it was like walking into a fairytale. The hotel is clean and recently renovated (the lights in the rooms were controlled by touchpads!!). In addition, the staff was incredible, so hospitable and kind. Especially Ezio who helped out throughout the whole stay. Also, the lady at the breakfast (I do not recall her name), knew exactly which thee I liked to drink in the morning. Overall, 10/10, and I would definitely come back.

It's an oasis in the city of Neaples (located near Ercolano). Located inside its own park with a pool it is a refugee from the hectic city of Neaples. Free shuttle service to the train station and Herculaneum, a fantastic gourmet restaurant (Line), clean rooms with fantastic room service. The cherry on top is the desk service - Francesco - who is one of the kindest and most warm-hearted I have ever met, speaking multiple languages fluently and helping with ever problem you are facing! Grazie mille!

What a fantastic Resort, from the busy city you turn up the driveway into an oasis of peace with a great garden, a beautiful swimming pool and super views over the valley from the terrace on the first floor. Also the staff is very friendly, hospitable and give many nice tips for the best local restaurants.

Excellent resort for meetings and receptions like weddings and the like. Wonderful garden with many flowers, bushes and shady trees, and a very wide lawn, well suited for ceremonies and parties. A large swimming pool tops up the facilities, for more informal parties, such as birthdays and so on. Very nice and professional service, and good food in the internal restaurant.
