Very disappointed by this experience. The commercial team will promise you everything, but this is all lies. The students are supposed to be max 2 per room in the room, they are 3+ 1 in the adjacent room. They tell you your child will be the only one speaking her mother tongue but it is not true, next bed speaks French too. They tell you it will be an intensive course with 10 days of school over 2 weeks, but they "forget" to mention that there are 2 days off, so only 8 days of school. They tell you EF proposes many after school activities, but they "forget" to tell you they are extra costs. All activites are supposed to be in German, but they are in English. The family is supposed to speak German with the students, but they don't see the woman on mornings (she sleeps) and barely see her on evenings. The family doesn't propose anything on week-ends and sometimes the girls are left alone all evening. I am very disappointed and once again, I asked all the questions but the commercial team tells you whatever you want to hear... Which doesn't happen afterwards. Choose another school !

If you don't care about how to speak like locals, then it is perfect for you. Otherwise, your whole trip may be ruined and become useless like mine.

I've seen some poor reviews. So let me give mine and clarify some complaints I saw... The school itself is very good, you learn the language in a structured way out of books, if you are placed in the correct level right away the classes will be challenging but not beyond your reach,. In my case, I was put in a2-b1. If you apply yourself, you will learn. That being said, they're not going to force you to learn.... if you ask questions and participate in class by speaking the language, you will progress quickly... so, like most things in life, the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it. In regards to the activities offered after classes... some are free, and some are paid for with credits. Some people complain about having to pay to go on the activities. But consider that these paid activities are not cheap sometimes and that they are, in fact, extracurricular.... so on top of a ticket price you may have to spend money to get drinks or food, as you should expect. If you have any complaints during the course, you have to tell the staff. They will happily help you with anything..... but they can't do anything if you don't speak up. :) All in all, the school is amazing. The staff is energetic and motivated to teach you and give you the opportunity to learn and speak. This course is absolutely worth the money. Though if your goal is to really learn the language, I would recommend the intensive program. I hope this helps 👍

I went on exchange with EF as part of the class of 22 and it surely was one of the best years of my life!! I got to stay with an awesome host family and live the life I had always dreamed of. EF supported me throughout my entire journey and provided me with all the support I needed. I got to grow as a person and became a lot more independent. Thank you EF for making this possible and giving me so many unforgettable memories!! 🫶🏼 I can definitely recommend EF to anyone that is thinking about doing an exchange year and wants to have the best time of their lives!!

I really recommend this school. I spent there three weeks last summer and it was the best choice, that I have made. And the people? The staff and teachers are very welcoming and nice. Such a wonderful experience!

The best language school I've ever been to. The school is located in a very nice area ( near underground station). The staff and all the teachers are very nice and willing to help you out in any case. The overall atmosphere of the place is great and I really wish to go back there next year.

Awesome school

I went on exchange with EF as a student of class of 20 and I can surely say that I had the time of my life. EF has given me so many opportunities in the past 2 years that I can't even explain how grateful I am. I also met a lot of amazing ambassadors that will hopefully be my friends for life. EF has given me the opportunity to inspire people and to help people on exchange and people that want to go on exchange.

I was there for 4 weeks, my experience is very positive. The school is beautiful and modern. The teachers are super friendly und very good at teaching. Getting at school is very comfortable because the school is located near the bus stop. The school organizes activities as well!! Super recommended.

I had a really great time with EF Munich. I met a bunch of new people created amazing memories and improved my german skills!!’
