I will start by saying we will definitely be staying here again. I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough. The gardens were beautifully kept (a photo cannot do them justice) and the rooms were elegantly decorated with soft and comfortable furnishings. The bed was perfection. We ate at the on site restaurant Cast Iron for both breakfast and dinner and the food was faultless. The breakfast spread was great, there was a hot full English section as well as continental and I must say the sausages were so tasty. For dinner we ordered two beautiful starters followed by the Iberico pork chop and mushroom tagliatelle (which was incredible). The facilities were lovely. The hotel’s leisure spa, complete with pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, was beautifully kept and so relaxing. We did experience a couple drawbacks during our stay. The first being a 30 minute wait for our drinks to come at dinner, by the time we received our cocktails we had already had our starters and begun the main course. This happened again with our second round of drinks which was disappointing. Secondly, although the breakfast was good, when we arrived at 10.40 all the pastries had gone, we did not fancy the 20 minute wait for more to be cooked so we went without. If breakfast is advertised to be served until 11am then it is expected that all offerings be available until such time. Aside from those small setbacks, we really did have a lovely stay here. The location is stunning and central to many places of interest. We definitely recommend a visit.

Beautiful quiet location. The room was clean and quite basic. We had a spa break and I have to say I was quite disappointed. The massage I had wasn't great and although I booked a 30 minute Swedish massage it lasted 15 minutes, i think my masseuse was in a rush! When we went to the spa the spa pool wasn't working. The meal we had was nice but service was really poor, not rude, just couldn't be bothered or too busy chatting in the kitchen with each other. Would have expected better. Then the morning breakfast was just a disappointment again poor service, having to ask for some of the basics as they weren't checking on the food quantities or setting tables properly I think its great for golfers but I don't think I'd return.

Beautiful grounds. Imagine the golf is great. But we weren’t there for golf. Check in. We waited an eternity while the two available staff teamed up to answer the million questions asked by a group of golfers. Completely ignoring us wasn’t the warmest of welcomes. The photos on the adverts are all of the old buildings. But the rooms are actually in a 1970s built block out the back. £10 a day to use WiFi. Really? Feels a bit Ryan air. Might as well charge for air. And tap water. And television. And sheets. The shower ran cold. No hot water. The set menu in the pavilions was inedible. Not sure what flavour the soup was meant to be? When the pavilions staff decided the party was over they kicked us out. The door to the hotel was locked so we were forced to walk the long way back to reception in the cold. Breakfast. Eggs were cold. Cups too small for the coffee machine, spilling coffee everywhere.

I was looking at Mariott Hotels for a weekend getaway. I pick this hotel only because it's an old building with lots of features from the past and a great view. We aren't golfers, but I can see that the golf course looks amazing. The grounds are great. Beautiful landscapes with a variety of plants. I appreciated that the hotel is making efforts towards sustainability. I would still recommend removing single use plastic completely. Put dispensers into the bathrooms.

We booked this hotel before they changed to Delta and have been following reviews since. The hotel is clearly making the effort and exceeded my expectations in a number of areas. Check in was welcoming and efficient. They were kind and had been able to place our party together despite a busy holiday weekend. They responded to requests on the app, and also made up the sofa. The grounds are gorgeous and it was well located near so many things. Breakfast had a decent variety. Rooms and buildings had character and potential. Beds and linens were good. But. We had a few service fails. The 1 bedroom suite was not a true suite, just had two areas. They didn't give us an extra roll of toilet paper and we ran out in the night! This is a very basic service standard. When I mentioned it no apology. Requested ice once night, waited an hour, never came. Dreadful experience at the Cast Iron Kitchen for a snack so avoided for all other meals other than breakfast. Breakfast was okay but today, while we were there, they ran out of hot water, tea bags, coffee, mugs, glasses, eggs, plates, and a few other things. It was busy, but it was also not well run and understaffed. Room had cobwebs on the wall. Extremely dated and lucky it was spring or we would have roasted in the Mews. It needs windows that open more than a few inches and it needs AC. The hotel has tremendous potential, but it gals short in too many areas. I hope they can improve and live up to their potential!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. We went for a spa day with a creme tea. The massage in the spa consisted of a 20 min gentle back rub; pleasant but no more than that. The few loungers around the dark indoor pool were all reserved, so nowhere to lounge. The bar area was so full of golfers it was impossible to have a conversation. Cream tea was OK. Asked for more tea and had existing pot topped up with hot water. We asked how to get onto the patio but we're told because there was a wedding in the hotel we could go outside but to sit in the corner in case the bridal party wanted to go outside. We decided to go for a walk but the hotel is surrounded by the golf course so very limited area to walk.

Family weekend, with a mobility restricted adult and a picky teenager. The welcome was warm and professional- we needed a room that was easy to get to with a person of limited mobility and our requirements had been understood and addressed. The sprawling site was a little off putting but the hotel thoughtfully arranged a golf buggy (and driver) to help ferry the less mobile member of the group around and were responsive when asked at 10 mins notice when we needed to get around. The staff are friendly and engaging, the food is very nice and the menu was varied. The pool is a nice size and well maintained with decent changing rooms and pleasant staff. Wifi is fine and easy to access. None of us are golfers , but the golfers seemed happy enough... so if that's your thing I'd say go for it. Special mention to Charlotte who was an absolute gem!

We have been here with my wife for a weekend night b&b and spa day for my birthday. We had a great experience! Gym well equipped with a cardio and weightlifting room. Sauna, steam room big enough for 6 people at the same time. Big pool and decent jacuzzi. Everything was clean and really accessible. Service in the restaurant could be improved but I would give a solid 8/10. Staff really kind and helpful. They give us the option to stay for the day, after check out, in the spa/leisure centre. That if you think about is an extra spa day free of charge. I would really recommend if you are looking for a relaxing day out in the middle of the nature in this beautiful location.

I wanted to write an email to the cast iron restaurant and hotel manager however I found it difficult to find a suitable email address so I have written this review instead: We had a fantastic waiter on Friday night the 17th of November. 'Laura', was probably the best waiter we have ever had and we are well traveled . Absolutely outstanding! Totally professional, engaging, lovely, intelligent and talented at her job. Laura is such an asset to your team. Well done.

🌟 Staff were 5*. One room was not suitable and the toilet didn’t work correctly, staff were pleasant and quickly had us change room. Rooms are comfortable and warm with individual heaters. Bathrooms are clean but worn and old. 🍳 breakfasts were super! Great selection of continental and cooked but no porridge. 🍽️ dinner and bar snacks super! Room service also available. 🏊‍♂️ swimming pool is a great size and indoor. It is nice and warm but strong chlorine. The bar is next door and also pleasant to sit in. Unsupervised pool. Corridors are very cold.

Stayed here a couple of times. Had a very long drive to Alton Towers and decided to break up the journey by staying there and travelling the last part in the morning. It was great, the building itself is beautiful with lovely gardens. Breakfast is great too with lovely views from the dining room. Excellent facilities.

When I arrived the staff at the main reception were so kind, patient and lovely to me when I was at the wrong entrance. Drove round to the leisure club and greeted by two helpful staff. I went to the spa place. Lovely welcome. Real lovely staff too. My massage lady was fantastic. And it was nice to have a little chat at the end. I got lost (its a grand old place) and the staff directed me to cream tea in the restaurant. The staff are very accommodating, kind and funny. Thank you all so much.

Stayed at Breadsall priory for a wedding. The venue and food was chosen by the wedding party. Personally i did not find the food upto standard for an expensive hotel. The older part of the hotel buildings are gorgeous and have history. The grounds are lovely and have some great views. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was disappointed with the room we were given considering what it cost. The room was on the ground floor next to an entrance door from outside into the hotel, everytime someone used the door we were disturbed by banging doors, voices and faces peering into our room. The room had net curtains but also was very dark inside so really didn't want to close them but felt we had to so we had some privacy. We had no view from our window except a facing wall and a few bushes. The room was very disappointing and not worth what it cost.

The rooms are super plain and under decorated with no convenient plugs for charging near the bed. Room cleaning is only every 3 days, unless you request otherwise, which is solely to save money. Room service was shocking - I get the £10 tray charge, but they have 4 main menu items and 3 starters to choose from for room service, then they delivery a lovely steak with no steak knife, no sauces, no salt, and you can only order through the QR code so can’t call them. Spa was disappointing, trying to relax and there’s children’s swimming lessons, shouting and splashing going on, the sauna was at 80 degrees, so no one used it in the 2 days I was there, the jacuzzi was nice. No staff presence inside the space at all, so no drinks, or food around I had a great massage, great facial, TERRIBLE pedicure, Katia tried her best with what they had, but no Emory boards, files, or materials, it basically turned in to a foot massage and toe nail painting, there was no cuticle cleaning e cause they did not have the materials, so that was a bit of a waste. I had a room on the ground floor looking at the car park you cannot have the curtains open as people can see straight in the room, so 2 days of closed curtains and no natural light. Breakfast is lovely The bars are super loud at night and go on very late - there were people laughing and joking outside well after closing time

I have the pleasure of using the facilities at Breadsall Priory, and I must say its a delightful experience. The historical charm of the priory, set amidst picturesque grounds, creates a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The architecture and well-preserved features add a unique touch to the stay. The staff are courteous and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The rooms are well-appointed and offer modern amenities while still maintaining the priory's old-world charm. The dining options are also impressive, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from, and the quality of the food is usually top-notch. One of the highlights is to explore the beautiful surroundings, including the golf course and the nearby countryside. The priory's spa and leisure facilities add to the overall relaxation and rejuvenation experience. While being here is truly enjoyable, I did notice that some areas of the property could use a bit of maintenance and updating to match the high standards of the rest of the establishment. In summary, Breadsall Priory offers a unique and memorable getaway, perfect for those seeking a blend of history, comfort, and natural beauty. It's an ideal destination for a relaxing retreat or a special occasion.

Unfortunately my experience at this hotel was a mix between Fawlty Towers and The Shining, and definitely NOT worthy of being 4 stars. I would like to start on a positive and comment on how beautiful the grounds were. Breakfast was also great, a good selection of food and condiments. That being said, it is important to note that the toaster is NOT automatic and a lot of burnt toast is lying around as guests did not realise this. Cutlery and glasses were also dirty both at breakfast and dinner, which would be expected from a 1 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel. The service at the hotel was below average, with clear staffing issues present. Although the staff were friendly, it was clear they had absolutely no clue what they were doing. This was especially evident at dinner, with nearly all orders being wrong, described by staff incorrectly, or missing items altogether. Unfortunately no umbrellas were available at the hotel, which is strange considering it is in the English countryside. The entire hotel was one giant maze, with millions of stairs and 100% not accessible for people with disabilities or mobility issues. The hallways were completely outdated and reminded me of The Shining, I felt like Jack Torrance could have jumped out of the walls at me. To make matters worse, on both nights of my stay, the hotel smelt chronically of fart, and made my room smell unbearably disgusting. I’m not sure where this could have come from - possibly sewage issues? There were multiple corridors with paint peeling off the walls, looking more like a construction site than a 4 star hotel. The automatic doors at reception don’t work either. The rooms were completely outdated, and now reading reviews, it looks like they haven’t been renovated in over 20 years. This is extremely evident, with the toilet being extremely old fashioned but not in a good way - The toilet barely flushed (and on one occasion it did NOT flush). Worst of all was the cleanliness of the toilet, with hairs scattered all over the shower walls, paired with mouldy shower curtains. I was shocked to find a pubic hair in one of the face towels just as I was lifting the towel off the rack to dry my face. I have attached a picture of this as I could not quite believe it myself in the moment. I’m surprised Marriott have any affiliation with this hotel, and I can’t believe that I paid £200 for this ridiculous experience. I stayed in a Holiday Inn earlier in the week, and it was miles better than this.

Great place for a family get together. We had a fabulous time, brilliant walks and views and brilliant food. Special thanks to Dylan in the Cast Iron Grill for making our last breakfast so fabulous, he went above and beyond with his colleagues to make sure our party was well catered for. Just the break we needed!

Despite terrible weather for a couple of weeks beforehand, we got two decent rounds of golf and the hotel was very good. Comfortable room and great food for breakfast and tea.

Lovely setting and a beautiful building with outstanding facilities, gym, pool, jacuzzi, and golf. Helipad if you fancy taking your helicopter out for a round of golf. Gardens are a delightful walk. Only let down was the closure of the main restaurant but once the refurbishment is completed we’d come back. Staff are excellent. Love how you can use your phone as a door key for your room. Wife made good use of the beauty spa and there is a hairdressers on site. Wi-Fi also on site.

I only live 10 minutes away but have never been here before. I came on a work trip which start with lunch and the food variety and quality was fantastic 👌 we had snacks during a meeting break which were delicious and plenty of drinks available. Lovely location and place, would definitely recommend.

The location and the rooms were great. Plenty of parking available, WiFi, tea and coffee on the room as you would expect. Swimming pool was great with sauna and steam room. Evening meal was very expensive and the bar was also pricey. Breakfast on Sunday had people waiting for eggs and bread ( unusual ) and I pointed out the coffee machine (the only one) wasn't working on 3 separate occasions before it was sorted. The staff were busy but I feel they should notice things like essential items missing from breakfast, like coffee!!

It had been a lovely and memorable experience for our family who came to spend our marriage anniversary and birthday of our son here. Much appreciated gesture by personalising the occasions with cake and drink especially by Stacy and Nichole at the reception… 3 cheers to the lovely ladies 🤗 Will come again and highly recommend the hospitality and hotel environment.. thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a suite as it was a valentines treat. We had three nights. The room was good, comfortable and a nice size, although looked a little tired in places. Staff were so friendly and helpful and made check-in a smooth process. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice for evening meal, good choice on menu and food tasty. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and catered well for me as I am lactose intolerant. We will definitely be returning to stay.

I want to leave a fair honest review. Booking our spa day was a nightmare, and took for a complaint to actually get booked on, was a voucher so already paid for. Things started to look up at this point, as we had our spa treatments at the same time and afternoon tea booked in, only to receive a phone call 2 days prior to say we can no longer have our treatments at the same time and they was hours apart meaning we had to change our afternoon tea time, this put a damper on everything because we’d be spending 2 hours apart. On arrival, we went to the main entrance where a lovely guy greeted us straight away, gave us a map, circled all the places we needed to go and was just lovely, so we go to the leisure facilities where another lovely man (Star Trek fan) was also so lovely, showed us around, really polite, just great. The spa facilities are disappointing, and there was grandmas with their loud grandchildren splashing and making a lot of noise, which was not relaxing. We went in the pool doing lengths only to be splashed constantly by these kids and couldn’t hear ourselves talk so we just got out. There’s not many lounges there, and not much to do. We went for a cup of tea and the bar staff was all so lovely, fast service too, though we felt uncomfortable because we was in robes, some was in normal clothes, others golf clothes, and then some in suits and nice dresses, so we was just uncomfortable being sat there. Then we decided to walk together to the treatment room, and luckily there was a relaxation room and there was 2 women in there also waiting for treatments, then a lady come up and said basically one from my party and one from their party are booked on now, and the other from my Party and the other from theirs was booked on at the same time too so did we want to swap so we get ours together and they get theirs together, which was obviously a massive yes but begs the question why they rang us with bad news to change ours so we had separate times, when they could of rang the other party with good news that they can now be together? (They originally booked different times because it’s all they had when booking as they told us) Anyway, rosher, my masseuse, was incredible, funny, made you feel comfortable, and really good at her job. Then was the afternoon tea, there was ample staff on but service was quite slow yet really good when they did come to you, which sounds bizarre, there was only 2 tables dining in the restaurant. Afternoon tea was tasty, well presented, plenty of, could of done with Yorkshire tea though… the tea was just really weak, but didn’t ruin it. We got to take our cakes home as we didn’t manage to eat it all. The music was really bad though, it was top topic of our conversations. I wouldn’t book again, only because the little spa facilities and the loud kids, which is a shame because the treatments and afternoon tea was great.

What a lovely Sunday Spa overnight at the Priory. We started with a very relaxing massage and were not disappointed with anything during our overnight stay there! The three course meal was delicious (try the cheesecake). The gym was brilliant with a weights room, a large cardio studio, and a fitness studio. The pool is in close proximity to the jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room and tanning room. None of this was very busy and we never had to wait. All of this surrounded by the gorgeous Priory grounds and two lovely golf courses. We definitely plan to be back.

We have just come back from a week's stay at this pretty hotel and have had a lovely relaxing time. I had stayed here over 15 years ago and so was worried it wouldn't be as nice as I remembered but it was just as good. The grounds are superbly maintained, the room well appointed and clean. The team on front desk were swift checking us in and anytime we rang down for anything responded swiftly, including bringing buckets of ice and a 'care package' when my ten year old had a migraine, nice touch. We were missed by housekeeping on a couple of days but once we rang to alert them, they were on it swiftly. The spa has to be the hotels biggest selling point, beautiful pool, outside sunbathing area and great jacuzzi, steam and sauna. The spa dressing rooms are the best I have ever used, they thought of everything! The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because of how it is ran, mainly as a golf club. The sports bar, which was one of the few buildings with air conditioning ( it's been 30 plus degrees this week) shut at 6pm most days which meant all the hotel guests and golfers were all using the main hotel bar and restaurant. Some evenings, the language and behaviour of some of the golf guests was not appropriate for a family hotel and that for people with young children is a issue. Also, the sports bar said it did snacks at lunch but only once did they have a chef there to facilitate, again meaning you had to use the expensive main resturant if you wanted a midday snack. There is no air conditioning in the main accomodation block so a bigger pedestal fan might have made our stay more comfortable, the little desk fan in the room did nothing and at times, the room was unbearably hot. Otherwise though, a good stay and we enjoyed it, we would book again but maybe in the off season when there are less golfers.

Breadsall completely surpassed my expectations and then some. Both courses were in exceptional condition, fairways and greens were immaculate, each hole was a good challenge and the location was great. Golf facilities were brilliant, good range, chipping / putting areas. There's even a marshall going round in a buggy with refreshments - beers, cider, chocolate etc. The dinner options were really tasty for a set menu & breakfast had everything you would want and more. The rooms were big and the bed was really comfy. The staff were all great as well. This was an absolutely great trip - I'd 100% recommend to anyone wanting a good value golf weekend.

A 2-day golfing break at Breadsall Priory... two challenging 18-hole golf courses harmoniously laid out across the well tended, picturesque estate grounds. Welcoming, helpful & friendly staff hotel staff; a swimming pool & leisure facilities; relaxing restaurant, cafes & bars rounded off with comfortable bedrooms. All contribute to providing a restful, thoroughly enjoyable & highly memorable breakaway experience.

Golf courses are excellent and challenging - some of the greens and tees are a little bit close to one another. No idea why as there does not seem to be any shortage of space on the courses. Bedrooms are modern and well presented. Food was average for a corporate type resort. They placed two Golf Society's in one function room - two long tables circa 25 a table so about 50 people in the room - incredibly noisy and difficult to talk. Biggest let down related to poor bar service; not enough staff - they did try as hard as they could, and were friendly, but the lack of training was obvious. There were also shortages beer and soft drinks and quite long delays for snacks. Check in was slow and under resourced. Pro-shop average. No hired motocaddies. Pool facility was excellent.

All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and went out of their way to help meet requests and make my stay a pleasant and comfortable one. The spa was a nice facility. I throughley enjoyed both of my treatments there, especially the Swedish massage. The dinner was delicious, especially my main course, and the surroundings were stunning. Just a couple of points that could be improved upon, to make the experience even better... It would be nice if the set menu could include drinks, as surely most people wouldn't eat a three course meal without them! Also, while my room was very nice and spacious, and I liked the original features in there, the bathroom was quite grubby, and could do with being modernised. Also, complimentary bathrobes being provided would be nice. Aside from these small points. I had a fantastic time during my visit, and hope to return sometime! Kirstin

A group of eight of us, stayed for two nights with golf, as a 70th birthday treat for a colleague. On arrival we gathered in the Tempo bar for coffees mid afternoon, we asked which food was available, only to be told that there would not be any food available until 6.00 pm, then that would be in the main restaurant. Our evening meal was great and the staff were pleasant, after the meal we retired to the bar area, probably about 9.00 pm. When we tried to order drinks, there was nobody in sight, not in the bar area or restaurant. After about ten minutes, another guest approached us and said that she wanted to pay her bill, but couldn't find a member of staff either. We banged on the kitchen door and a member of staff appeared, with an apology I might add, At 10.15 the barmaid, came to tell us that it was last orders and that they would now stop serving as the bar was closing. I explained that the closing time was stated as being 11.00 pm, so why were they now closing the bar? I was told that she had been instructed by the duty manager to close the bar, we asked to speak to her for an explanation, however she was too busy apparently. She would also not disclose the duty managers name, as she said 'she wasn't allowed to'. As it was last orders, I asked for four drinks. She replied that she could not serve four drinks to one person, even though it was a round for four people.....unbelievable! We were not drunk or rowdy either as we are all quite old and just wanted to celebrate a friends birthday. After much discussion we were served our drinks, then going to bed early. The next day after golf, we again went into the Tempo bar, this time a snack menu was on show, when we tried to order food, the staff informed us that, it seems only toasties were available, as nobody had been trained to cook the chips or the pizzas, even though they were on the menu board. On a plus note the staff were very helpful and did what they could, it seems that the problems lie elsewhere with this business.

I and the family had a great stay here. The wife and kids enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna and the stay was relaxed with very well-kept grounds. It's a golfing hotel and hosts a couple of nice bars to lose the night in if that's your thing. If you catch a nice day the walks are lovely. The breakfast was also fantastic with a variety of choices and great service.

We booked a spa day overall it was a nice relaxed day. We had the inclusive breakfast buffet and the lunch. We had treatments booked together, the full body massage was great. The gym and wet areas were good unfortunately the hot tub went out of order while we were there so we were not able to use it for long. The atmosphere and history of the building was really nice and a great experience.

My husband and i came here today for afternoon tea, we brought his mum for a little treat... The afternoon tea was delicious 😋 one of the best we've had and we've had a fair few! 👌 the service was impeccable, the young woman who looked after us was very attentive and professional and regularly asked if we needed anything else, the teapots were refreshed upon request and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing... a thoroughly pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. The setting here is also wonderful very well maintained grounds adding to the experience... all in all faultless!

Absolutely amazing place. Came here for my Birthday Suprise. Nothing to fault. Friendly welcome from Charlotte. Our room 353. Stunning views. Spacious. And food was excellent, plenty of choice at Breakfast. Thank you for such a lovely birthday weekend. The grounds are amazing too. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back soon. Lovely touches box of chocolates and the happy birthday in chocolate on the. Thank you.

2 night stay at Breadsall Priory at the end of last week. First visited 20 years ago and it hasn't changed much - the service was as good as ever, but the room was pretty much the same as we remembered it aside from a massive flat screen tv. Could ideally do with a bit of modernisation. Breakfast was great both mornings. Not overly busy and plenty of choice. Also ate at the Cast Iron Grill and found the food was better than some of the other reviews I've read. £15 for a pretty decent burger and chips. Things get pricey if you want a steak. Leisure facilities were also good and not too busy in spite of inclement weather. Can't comment on the golf but there seemed to be plenty of people enjoying that too.

An absolute amazing weekend of golf at this stunning place, the 2 courses were amazing and a real challenge but in beautiful surroundings and personally I loved the challenge of the courses. The hotel was beautiful with lovely rooms and the food was really nice. Our group of 16 all agreed the whole experience was fantastic. Also have to give a big shout out to the events team in helping me with ease and professionalism with my booking as had few issues with 3rd party but they went above and beyond so thank you. We will be back 5 ⭐

Golf courses are great. Both play differently and are very well maintained. The rooms are good, with a beautiful view. The fish and chips was good, although the service was quite disjointed, some food was unavailable and the restaurant was very loud despite only having ~16 people. Pro shop staff were very friendly, marshall was very friendly, staff were friendly despite being under-staffed.

We went on an all-day spa treatment. The morning we arrived we were shown the pool and the changing areas. With the package we booked the timings were all out from the start. Upon arriving at 10 am we went into the pool but had to get out for the first facial session at 11 am. There were 4 of us in the party but due to Staffin levels, we could only go in 2's making 2 of us stay in the pool to use the jacuzzi. With this, you had to walk through the bar in a robe whilst other guests were relaxing in there having drinks and eating that was not even using the spa facilities. This made you feel a bit embarrassed. We then had to go outside in the courtyard to where the facilities for the treatment were held. The treatment was very good and after we were sent into the relaxation room but could not stay due to going back to the pool to let the other guest go and have their appointment at 12 pm. We then had to go again through the bar to show the other guests where the treatment was held. Making this 3 times coming and going through the same bar which was now getting full. Even more embarrassing for us all still in our robes. The other 2 guests in how party. One had a pedicure and was given the option of having feet scrubbed or nails painted. They chose the nails painted thinking that they would still get a soak of feet ext. No it was just nails painted and not even done correctly. They were still wet and the beautician had to do the big toenails twice by knocking the paint off whilst putting flip-flops on. The other guest had a lovely massage which they enjoyed and yet again could not go to the relaxation room due to having to get back to the group and yes they had to go through the bar again to get back. We had a cream tea booked for 1 pm which we all had to rush for. Once we walked the whole length of the hotel to get there, we were put at a table in the back room with 2 parties going off, so we couldn't even have a conversation with each other due to the parties being large numbers, so a lot of noise coming from both tables. With that, we did not want to return to the pool to walk the full length back again. For the robes, we had to pay £5 to hire were not in the best condition with missing loops and were very poorly fitted. I would not recommend this for a relaxing treat, The cost is too much for what you receive.
