My first visit with a friend and her little girl yesterday. The farm is so lovely and it’s great that you can feed the animals (an extra charge of £1.25 per bag). Those complaining about the entry fee obviously do not understand the costs involved in keeping animals and running a business. The animals need feeding, veterinary treatment, staff wages, general running costs and like all of us, the cost of living has increased, therefor businesses need to increase their fees to reflect that. It really isn’t difficult to understand! The entry fee includes access to all activities inside, of which there are more than enough such as a tractor ride, maze, peddle go-carts, animal meet and greets and much more. I know a lot of places where you pay to enter, then have to pay extra to take part in activities. The cafe is superb; the food choices were great and just enough for a small café like this. Lastly the ice cream! Absolutely delicious and I’ve been waiting to try it for a long time; was not disappointed. I am very much an ice cream lover and it’s not often you find one like Bluebells. I will definitely be returning as there is so much to see and do. A great family day out.

Being a couple with no children, I thought we may have felt a bit out of place. However we both had a great time! There was a nice array of animals which were all friendly and happy to eat out of hands. The ice cream is some of the best I've had outside of cornwall, we happily spent 2-3 hours looking round, enjoying the animals and going on a little tractor ride 🚜

We love trips to Bluebells. We’ve been multiple times for Christmas events and random visits. The last being yesterday with just my son and I. We had a fab time. There’s so much to do other than just seeing the animals (bouncy pillow, play parks, cow safaris, go karts, etc) without there being any events but it was also Wild West week and there was even more to do. My son (4) had a great time! It’s nice to see things always changing too. There’s always some thing new every time we go (this time the cow palace was new). The ice cream is delicious too! Thanks as always Bluebells!

The farm has changed so much over the years. Now you can spend all day there without realising. The plant potting was my favourite activity, while our children liked the tractor safari best.

Bluebells is a lovely place for families, great facilities, free parking, farm shop, cafe, playback and a massive play area. The animals are very clearly loved and well cared for. And the ice cream is divine. A fun day out for all the family.

A wonderful day, plenty to do, great activities. New adventure play area. Expanded a lot since our last visit. Great ice cream and other food options. Picnic benches too. Lovely space for children to meet and feed the animals. Plenty of outdoor space for children to run out and have fun! Good value for money.

Amazing family day out for a really good price. Enough going on to keep the kids (or all ages) entertained all day. The cafe served great snacks and ice cream..and more importantly cold drinks (we went in 32° heat) My only suggestion would be to add some recycling bins as we had a lot of cans/recycling options that just went in the bin..but that was a minor part of an amazing day out

My kids really enjoy the farm, we've been coming here for years. The improvements made are very good and they seem to be building a whole new play area for bigger kids (October 21) which is a very welcome addition. My main gripe is that there's no accommodations for food intolerances in the cafe. How hard is it to buy a tub of dairy free spread so my 4 year old daughter doesn't have to eat a dry ham cob, really? I know you're a dairy farm, but it's hardly her fault that she's intolerant to dairy. It's 2021, we shouldn't be having to beg for inclusion still. Halloween event was very good, and we got fantastic pumpkins. The shows are always fantastic for kids, and well worth the entry fee.

This is a beautiful little farm with lots to see for young children. Staff are fantastic cafe is a little in the experience side but good quality food and drink. We got to meet dragons so that interested our old children along with the bouncy pillow. Definitely will be returning.

Fantastic day. Lots to do to fill the day, indoor and outdoor play areas and other outdoor things to do. Plenty of space and tables for picnics. A good variety of animals to see and feed they where all super gentle and friendly. The cow safari is a must for the kids, a tractor and cows is a toddlers dream. Cafe had a good selection of food and it was really tasty. The ice cream is to die for and comes in so many flavours.

Had a amazing day yesterday after being told by my grandson we were going to Bluebell farm, he had been the day before and discovered a very pregnant cow who really was very close to birthing her calf. My grandson had many concerns because it was very hot and he wanted to make sure the cow was ok. ( the wonderful staff at the farm were keeping a close eye on her) So we returned to the farm yesterday to check on the cow that was priority! On our way into the farm we bumped into Max who had driven the tractor out with my grandson to check the cow the day before. My daughter asked if there was a baby calf yet? and to my grandsons delight a large bull calf had arrived at 7.30 yesterday morning. After feeding the Rabbits and some of the birds we headed in to meet the calf and check on mum. See pics. Well after meeting the bull calf we went on to cuddle the rabbits, Groom a goat feed the cows, goats, sheep and alpacas along with lots of fussing as all of the animals are amazingly friendly. As are the staff and very knowledgeable. Max answered all of our questions and my grandsons. We then went and played on the extensive play area and go-karts. Finishing off with meeting Egbert then a delicious ice-cream from the cafe. Really recommend a visit here with or without kids as I got as much out of the day as my grandson.

What an awesome place to take the kids petting farm, animals, play area and activities. The food was nice too especially the ice cream and shakes. If your kids like animals this place is great to visit. The play area is good too. Lots of animals to feed and see.

Went with family for a day trip. Entry cost £10 pp. It was worth it as kids really enjoyed. Plenty of farm animals to look at, including a cow safari. Also got to feed and pet the animals. Lots of play activities as well. The icecream was delicious and bought fresh milk to take with.

We visited with our two year old, and the value for money was incredible. There's indoor and outdoor play areas, so you're covered no matter the weather. The play areas range for all ages and both have huge sand pits with plenty of toys to keep them entertained. The cafe is reasonably priced and serve a large range of hot and cold food, along with their gorgeous ice cream and their many flavours. They also have vegan ice cream for any vegans out there. They have events throughout the day where you're able to get up close with some animals and have a cuddle with them. Animal food is cheap to buy and comes in "2-legged, 4-legged and cow" food. You're able to feed every animal on the farm and there's plenty of hand washing stations for afterwards. The sheep race is great fun and you're able to select a sheep to engage a bit more. (Winners get stickers). Couldn't recommend this place enough for a visit. Especially if you have little ones!

We had a great time, we loved the tractor rides, the Alpaca walking and the small animal handling. We especially love the Highland cows, they are my favourite and to see babies was an absolute dream! The website is a bit hard to navigate when booking in advance but it is slightly cheaper. Some of the events they run, it goes up in price for tickets and we just can't afford to go.

An absolutely wonderful experience with the family. So many activities for the children. A cuddle corner, a sheep race, a cow safari on a tractor, a bug corner and walking alpacas. Lots and lots of animals to see and feed. A bubble pillow, tractors, play area and wet are for children. Also, the ice cream was very tasty:-)

Oh, let me tell you about my amazing experience at Bluebells! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The farm is nestled in the most picturesque countryside, with rolling hills and fields of green as far as the eye could see. As I entered the animal area, I was immediately taken aback by the adorable animals roaming freely. There were goats, sheep, rabbits, and even some cheeky alpacas! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, eager to share interesting facts about each animal and how they care for them on the farm. What really impressed me was the emphasis on animal welfare and the opportunity for hands-on interactions. The kids and I were able to pet and feed the animals under the watchful eye of the staff, ensuring both the animals' safety and our enjoyment. After spending quality time with the animals, we headed to the ice cream parlor, and boy, was that a treat! Bluebells Dairy Farm is renowned for its delicious homemade ice cream, and it certainly lived up to the hype. With an array of flavors, from classic vanilla to unique concoctions like lavender honey, there was something to satisfy every palate. I couldn't resist having more than one scoop! In addition to the animals and ice cream parlor, the farm offered various other activities for children, including tractor rides, pony rides, and a well-equipped play area. It was evident that the farm was designed with families in mind, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time. The whole experience at Bluebells Dairy Farm was educational, entertaining, and heartwarming. I left with a big smile on my face and some unforgettable memories. If you're looking for a fun-filled day out with your kids or even a solo adventure, I highly recommend visiting this gem of a place. I can't wait to go back and relive those magical moments!

Visited recently with our 5yo daughter. We had the most amazing day. There was lots for us to do and see. We especially loved seeing all the new lambs and kids on the farm. The bouncy pillow and the new outdoor play equipment were thoroughly enjoyed. We had lots of fun meeting all the animals and took advantage of the different experiences on offer. Walking animals and petting area were a big hit. We enjoyed an amazing home cooked meal in the cafe. The pulled pork fries in particular was amazing. The ice cream was nothing short of perfection. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. A full day out and fun for all.

We went to the Farm in the summer and loved it. We returned yesterday for the Christmas experience. It was great! We love the farm anyway, it's just the right size for our 4 and 5 year old - they know their way around and love feeding the animals - they will also spend hours on the play areas! The Christmas experience was so well organised - we'll done! There were plenty of choices for teddies, lovely hot chocolate, a fabulous Father Christmas and a great choice of gifts.

We had a lovely day at bluebelles doing the Christmas experience, it was amazing and made me feel so festive!! It’s one of the best Christmas things weve been to! Would definitely recommend and it’s so worth the money, my six year old was mesmerised and enjoyed the whole thing - and loved the build a bear and the gift! Santa was so good and loved it that they knew a bit about the children in advance, really made it magical. My 1 year old even enjoyed it too and was lovely that she could be involved in the Santa part. The farm overall is lovely with great parks and cute animals and the cafe is so good! Loved the icecream, the turkey lunch and all the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic. Really loved it! Will be back :)

Oct 15 , Halloween Event. The road up to the farm has got too many deep potholes , especially as you turn off the main road! However once up the road, Car parking very good and close. YOU NEED STURDY SHOES or BOOTS as it is very muddy , and the grass today very wet. Remember it’s Autumn now , dress for cold . Entry with prepaid tickets , very easy and there we were given timed tickets for the potion making and a time table for the other things. Given a map that didn’t match the events of the day, ie disco and 1,2,3 marquee… but soon found our way around. Well, the potion making was an excellent activity for the children, my 5yr old grandson loved it. The witch was brilliant! Trick or treat lesson was also very good , again grandson loved it , and much to our surprise (shy) he took part. The witch and wizard were also brilliant. We went to pick our pumpkin from the pumpkins growing, wonderful memory making…. Remember its muddy ( they hire out boots at £2:50). We took a picnic, but there was an outside shed at lunchtime selling mac and cheese, this wasn’t open all the time, only lunch time, no times shown. Obviously the cafe got packed , a shame they didn’t have a separate hot drinks seller and ice cream seller as you had to stand in the cafe food queue… we found that the shop on the way out also did icecream in the tub or cornet , no queue here , but you did have to re enter the farm , showing your wrist band. All in all it was a wonderful day ( we did 10 till 2:30, and didn’t visit the animals) we just went for the Halloween event . And would really recommend for preschooler and infants.
