One of the best cafe in Asmara. I recently visited Eritrea and I had a chance to go to the sweet Asmara cafe. It was amazing experience I had. Very lively. I had the best Macchiato and cakes. It was truly amazing macchiato.

One of the best cafes is available Asmara Sweet. The cafe is very famous and usually called sweet cafe. It's located at the centre of the city. Their cake is delicious. Many people especially teenagers flow to the cafe in great number. So it's common to share tables with strangers. Since its crowded, people usually come here to test cakes and leave. Not convienent for long stay.

I love their coffee and pastries, simply the best.

Asmara Sweet Cafe is a narrow cafe in the middle on the main thoroughfare. It is fairly high traffic owing to its location across the street from the Cathedral. I have had both cappuccinos and tea but my favorite thing here is the donuts. I prefer the plain sweet donuts over the chocolate frosted donuts. The combination of the tea and donuts is sublime. Although the cafe is a bit cramped it is the perfect place to share a snack with your friends before embarking (or continuing) a walk on Asmara's streets.
