My
husband
and
I
did
the
Halfling
Room
in
November.
We
are
experienced
escape
room
players
and
have
done
many
rooms
in
other
cities.
The
room's
atmosphere
was
very
good
(although
the
music
got
repetitive
quickly).
Our
game
master
was
friendly
and
played
her
role
well.
We
appreciated
the
effort
she
put
into
being
a
character
in
the
halfling
story
and
that
she
was
not
just
an
escape
room
employee.
The
puzzles
had
the
potential
to
be
good,
but
unfortunately,
this
is
where
the
room
disappointed
us.
*mild
spoilers*
There
were
technical
details
that
made
the
puzzles
difficult
to
see
and
thus
frustrating
to
solve.
When
I
asked
about
it
after,
the
Game
Master
confirmed
that
others
had
also
struggled
to
distinguish
the
coloured
objects
in
the
dark
light.
One
particular
puzzle
needed
the
answer
spoonfed
to
us
as
the
pieces
did
not
correspond
well
to
the
riddle
we
were
given.
Finally,
the
climax
of
the
game
was
ruined
as
I
found
an
object
I
was
not
'meant'
to
find.
I
had
to
put
it
back
and
pretend
I
didn't
find
it.
It
messed
up
the
order
of
the
story
and
the
immersion.
The
game
master
confirmed
that
other
groups
had
also
found
this
object
before.
It
should
not
be
possible
for
this
to
happen.
I
feel
like
we
were
given
the
answers
throughout
the
whole
game
and
didn't
solve
anything
ourselves.
Maybe
this
is
because
we
were
only
two
people,
but
it
was
a
linear
game,
and
I
can't
imagine
enjoying
this
small
room
with
more
than
three
people.
I
think
the
puzzles
were
too
ambiguous,
so
constant
hints
were
necessary
in
order
to
finish
it.
For
an
expensive
experience,
I
was
expecting
the
puzzles
to
be
well
tested
and
seemless.
Perhaps
the
other
rooms
are
better?
