There is also an open Gym at the end of the walkway for workout. There are several food truck and food outlets getting active after the evening.

The queen's walkway is a stretch of road beside the lake opposite the chathiath church and continuing as goshree bridge and the road to the city. It's the road opposite marina one flat. The place has an array of Street food vendors. Momos, fries, chaat, juices, Chinese food items to name some. The momos are freshly fried and steamed. Fries are available with variety of sauces could fit into the category of forbidden food for the healthy. By cheese most vendors give mayonnaise. Something I strongly disagree with. So if you want cheese then you must confirm with them if they are going to give you mayo or actual cheese. The slush of all colors available are really refreshing. Haven't had an upset stomach after eating from most of these places yet. The place can get very crowded on weekends. There's a small stage at beginning of the stretch where little programs are conducted. Yday there was live music, which was nice. Visit queens way if you are visiting Cochin. Evening would be a good time. It's also a good stretch for the healthy as well.. as in walking running .. you can use the open gym also that boasts of our very own Hibey edens generosity.

A few street food stalls also available here. Vehicles can be parked on road side or the service road on the other side(kindly park properly). Providing much-needed relief to Kochiites who miss open spaces, a host of walkway and park projects will be coming up in the city and its suburbs soon. With the proposal to develop the People’s Walkway in Palluruthy and Garden Walkway (based on Hortus Malabaricus)in Fort Kochi, the demand for new recreational areas will materialise within a few months. “Though we haven’t finalised project details, the walkways will come up in a phased manner. There is a dearth of open spaces across corporation limits and we have decided to address it constructively. The project proposals are a follow up to Kochi corporation’s ASK — Arts Spaces Kochi initiative. We will consult the public and various stakeholders to chart the plan,” said Kochi Mayor M Anilkumar. The corporation also aims to implement nightlife zones to rejuvenate the city’s business and leisure activities at night. “Nightlife zones will be built in consultation with residents’ associations and the business community in respective areas. There is a significant demand for nightlife coming from all quarters. The consultative process will begin soon. We are not going to lock horns with any stakeholders for implementing the proposal right away,” the mayor said

The walkway is really long with steel railings and lot of sitting arrangements. One side large water body and other side tall buildings. Evening is truly beautiful. Enough place for parking cars and bikes. Well lit and safe for family. Only short coming is the walkway is not designed for wheelchair.

Situated at Chathiyath road, it is very well maintained walkway by the bay. Good for jogging and walk with family and friends. Mostly crowded in evenings. Easily accessible by autos, taxis etc. There are big residential towers along the walkway which looks stunning in full moon. You can easily find ice cream and snacks stalls on the opposite side of the road. Parking is challenging here. It is an alternative to Marine Drive.

Excellent walking for both morning and evening sessions. Neat and nice place. Real good and calm in the early mornings, excellent for walk, jogging and cycling in the dawn.. might be little crowded in the dusk and night. Metro cycles are available in a reasonable distance.

Renovated and cleaned up the area. Good for evening walks and jogs alone. While walking with family is memorable. Couple of street vendors are also present providing a quick bite. Parking can be a challenge but we managed to do so along side road. Prioir to pandemic there were a large crowd. Today it was decently occupied too. My recommendation is to club this as a end item in your outing

There is a lot of potential to this place that is not being utilized the way it could have been. 1. Clean, neat, hygienic wash rooms 2. Well organized, regulated, variety, affordable, street food 3. Affordable boating rounds in the backwaters 4. Clean and tidy, litter-free walkway 5. Both sides of the road well lit and bright 6. Live performances by various artists 7. Two wheeler parking on one side of the road (along the back water side) and car parking along the opposite side (the high rises side) are a few things that would elevate this into a world-class place. Besides, if at all, at least twice every month on Sunday evenings between 4 pm - 8 pm, say, if the place could be blocked for traffic from both ends and made pedestrian-only, with people being allowed to play games and sports, it would be lovely and truly earning rave reviews. Could bring in festive, cheerful atmosphere that cities have lost so much of these days, even as they turn more mechanical and less leisurely. How I wish that day would come soon...
